Dr. Park was awesome! Within seconds of meeting, he answered my question and the appointment was essentially over. This was a good thing except I started feeling a little helpless about the consultation fee I had just paid. But just as my brain started going into overdrive trying to think up more questions to ask so I could get the most out of my dollar, Dr. Park saved the day and offered to refund me the full $100 because he felt bad that he had to send me away so quickly. Wow. The last time I went to see a dermatologist, I was super paranoid about a mole being cancerous. The doctor instantly reassured me that it wasn't and that no biopsy was even needed, but told me to set up an appt. for 8 weeks later so she could see how it was doing anyway. I did set up the appt. in the flurry of it all, but after I left the office I quickly realized that there is no effin way I'd pay another $150 just to come in and have her confirm what I already paid her $150 to do that day. She was super nice if that's what matters to you, but I didn't like that I left questioning if she was just trying to squeeze another buck out of me or not. So I took a chance and canceled my appointment, and guess what, I'm still alive. So needless to say, I was really surprised by today's turn of events, and I sincerely appreciate Dr. Park for being such a cool and generous guy. Highly recommend him. Unlike many doctors, you can trust that he will be direct and honest about what he can do for you, and you won't leave questioning your money spent. read more

I met with Dr. Park based on a referral from my doctor who, like Dr. Park, may not suit those who want a warm, jovial environment with engaging discussions about life. I want direct simple answers for conditions, and solutions that don't require a medical dictionary. What I received was the best care for my condition, which he provided. I found his attitude off putting. He doesn't seem to care for you much as a patient and doesn't take measures to make sure you feel welcomed. I found he gave okay advice to take care of my skin, but all he does is prescribe you medicine or cream from the pharmacist. Would not recommend. read more

I was a little skeptical about this doctor (new for me), because there were more than one negative reviews, especially mentioning his attitude and almost lack of interest in what the patients have to say. In my case, he was very nice. They were on time, people at the window were helpful and nice (it was my first time), and Dr Park was attentive, easy going, and he even asked me about my life (job, my country of origin...). I'm an avid yelper and typically listen to the yelpers on their reviews. I'm glad I didn't listen this time. Dr. Park and his staff are awesome. The girls at the front are super sweet and helpful and go out of their way to accommodate you. She went out of her way to fax us the paperwork we needed, even though they are so busy. They never made me feel rushed or like I was an annoyance, like so many other doctors offices can do. The office is clean and organized. They are busy, but the wait is not long. Both my son and myself were in and out within an hour and we were new patients, so the paperwork took a bit. But they processed us quickly so we could see the doctor quickly. Dr. Park is an outstanding doctor. He genuinely cares about each situation. He is frank, down to earth and doesn't try to sell you a bunch of non-needed items. My last visit to a dermatologist was awful and I was scared to see another derm. Dr Park put me at ease immediately. He listened attentively and addressed all of my concerns. He told me the exact opposite of what the other derm told me, and scheduled me for biopsies immediately. He is kind, gentle and genuine. I had my son see him and now my other son will be seeing him. He educated us on a hereditary trait within our family that no on ever told us before. Now we know why my kids skin heals the way it does. I wish we would have started with Dr. Park and not wasted our time with the other dermatologist, but at least we are seeing him now. I would recommend him to anyone. read more

It was my first visit this past Saturday (10/25/14). Also, it was my first ever dermatologist appointment. I've never had issues with acne, but over the past several months, I've increasingly gotten acne all around my jawline. I figured it was due to my hormones. Nonetheless, I started searching for a dermatologist because my acne was starting to affect my lifestyle. I originally came across this Yelp page and saw the awful reviews and looked elsewhere. BUT, people kept referring him to me, therefore, I thought what do I have to lose. Making the appointment was super easy. I didn't have to wait long (another plus - esp on a Saturday!). Dr. Park seemed really warm and answered all of my questions. He also explained how long it might take to see some signs of healing. He prescribed me some meds, gave me some creams, made me sit under a blue light for 10 mins, then I was on my way. It's only been 3 days since I've seen him, but my face is SO MUCH clearer! How is that even possible?? What I appreciated most was the fact that he was concerned that I didn't have insurance and he knew that I would be paying out of pocket. He took that into consideration when writing my prescription and also gave me a month worth of creams. He seems really caring and really contradicts all of the other reviews. I went to this doctor several times- when i received my bill i noticed they would send you slip for what you owe for the visit, then 2 weeks later send you another slip for money owed. I'm accountant and noticed that they never did combined billing to make it easy for you to understand.. i paid them several times and was always billed more and they were not counting the money i did pay to them for the previous visits, i told them their accounting is very off and send me combined bill they were claiming i owed them all kind of money they said they never done combined billing...Do what? This is crazy- with the combined billing it pinpointed i only owed them 100.00 instead of 750.00. Don't waste your time read more

Dr. originally prescribed medication that was not accepted by my insurance. I called the office staff and wanted to email the tier listing that he needed to prescribe from, they told me I can't email, have to fax. Seriously???? A doctor's office that doesn't have email? How inconvenient for the patients. Get in the 21st century. read more

DON'T GO! Bruce Park was extremely rude and mean. My mom went to get her moles checked and he snapped at her whenever she asked questions and had a horrible attitude about everything. She will never be going back and will find another dermatologist. read more

I first went to Dr. Park at least 5-6 years ago for acne when he was at the la palma location. I stopped going for some years due to seeing it get better, but kept meaning to come back to help fade the scarring that happened from my earlier years of acne. Coming from the west side, it was hard to find time to drive to the Fullerton location... but I did start again some months ago. And it's because I find that Dr. Park doesn't waste my time or money and is just plain honest. At this point in my life, it says a lot that I drive that far to see him in the midst of having absolutely no time. If you want someone who will try to sell you packages with all the "fluff" and waste a lot of time and money, then maybe Dr. Park isn't for you. I remember my first several visits years ago and being impressed that he didn't try to sell me all the products in his front lobby. I remember him saying that they were all right, and heard people liked them, but he wasn't telling me to purchase it. His reception room like others have said is at times busy, but I do think that's a good sign. They were professional and quick. The older staff were experienced and the younger staff were sweet. Maybe it's living in Socal, but I do find it refreshing when I find a doctor who just wants to get to the bottom of your problem, cares that you're getting better, and is truthful. I am soooooo disappointed to see people who gives this guy a good review. He is terrible!!!! I went there for the first time from far distance just because I was told to cone and get a laser treatment for 200.00. Although I had an appointment he just looked at me for about 2mins and said he doesn't have time to do it today so that I will need to come back later. Plus, the way he talked to me was very rude. I was quite upset so I complained to the receptionist because I was ask to pay 150.00 for the visiting fee. Since I was told to get a treatment on that day all I had to pay was 200.00. But, if I will have to come back, then I will be paying more which I could not accept. All of the sudden, he came to us and said, " I don't usually give a free consultation."" Hey!!! Did I ever ask him to give me a stupid free consultation?? I just wanted get what I first promised to get. I finally took all my paperworks and left. I will never ever go back to see an insane doctor's face and I strongly do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

I went to him for a rash I had for several years. I had to wait about 30 minutes to see him. He apologized for the long wait. The waiting room was full of people. He was able to diagnose what I had in about 30 seconds. He told me I had a condition called lichen planus. He gave me different treatment options and went over the pros and cons of each. He has a tendency to talk fast and give you a lot of info at once. When he realized I was getting confused, he stopped and asked me how I could best answer my questions. I knew he was very busy but he took the extra time to answer all my questions. He also explained to me that my condition had a very specific presentation so he knew what I had immediately when he saw it. He ordered some blood test to make sure I didn't have any other medical problems. He gave me a cream and in three weeks the rash went away. read more

I really liked Dr. Park. He talked to me like my dad, kinda firm and no bull. I wasn't ripped off, and no pressure on doing expensive procedures. He gave me options and told me how much everything was going to be before he did it. I didn't have to buy a lot of useless lotions or cleansers like my previous dermatology office. read more

Dr Park is a really great, knowledgeable dermatologist. It is so awesome that he has Saturday hours!!!! His staff is a little slow with paperwork. It seems like every visit, I have some issue with them in regards to paperwork. they are really nice though. Usually little to no wait for appointments. Will continue to see him as needed. I love Dr. Park. He spent more time with me then any other Dermatologist. I have a condition called Nevus of Ota and he was able to make it almost disappear. read more
