Everything at the front desk, and office is amazing! Everyone is very nice. I just ask you please…read moreask for an estimate before agreeing to have work done. We went in as a recommendation from a new dentist after our dentist office burnt down. We went in to have two teeth pulled and prep for a front tooth implant. When checking in we were told if we paid in full with cash we could get a 5 percent discount. Sounded like a good deal. When we were told it was just over 2k (shocked) we just assumed that included the implant. Boyyyyyyy were we wrong. Not only did it not include the implant (wishful thinking) It also didn't even complete the amount we owed for the two teeth pulled. when my husband went in for a follow up visit he created a workup report on some laser treatment, before he could guarantee the implant. That total was over 14 grand, mind you this still wasn't including the implant. Of course we went somewhere else and after two other opinions we found a very awesome place that will give my husband his front tooth back for a good price. No pre 14k needed. To make matters worse we received another bill for the original proceedure for $900. Who knew that was coming? And because we didn't pay it right away (it's been 30 days) They are already threatening collections. We are still trying to figure out what that $900 is for??? The bill they sent is VERY confusing. Frankly, they may be nice and do good work, but I don't enjoy being gouged! If we pay that, who's to know if another random bill is in the mail? VERY UNHAPPY AND WILL NEVER RETURN!!!

I love these guys. They are total professionals! Super nice but, more importantly, passionate…read moreabout their work, they are the best. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Rajagopal & Dr. Savage themselves might be okay, but I never got that far. Instead I had an…read moreabsolutely wild call with Tiffany at the desk the day of my appointment for an exam (Mon) where she berated me for not returning their Friday 11:37 am phone call by 2pm before they closed early for the weekend. I told her I was at work, but that was not a good enough reason apparently? She was calling to repeatedly flat out insist that my insurance was not through the company on the card I was holding in my hand, but was through HMA instead and that I needed to call them and sort this out. I repeatedly insisted that I had never heard of HMA and that it wasn't my insurance and that I was holding my insurance card in my hand and I was pretty sure it was correct. No, it was incorrect, she "wasn't trying to be argumentative" but it was absolutely incorrect and I needed to call my dentist to get my correct insurance information or I needed to call my real insurance company HMA and figure it out or I could have this insurance company that I thought was my insurance company call her and give her my information. But no, she wouldn't be trying to call the company whose card I was holding, she didn't have time before lunch. So it turns out that, yes, the card I was holding is in fact the card of my insurance provider and, yes, my dentist does in fact have my correct insurance on file and yes, they did send it to her, they just told her it could be looked up ON the HMA website. It's also the same, correct, information that I had to give them before I was able to book an appointment at Associates for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the first place. I'm really not sure how we ended up here at all. Tiffany called back to blame it all on my dentist but I let her know I'd booked with another oral surgeon instead and cancelled my appointment at AOMS. I get that misunderstandings happen, but to be argued with like that and have someone absolutely refuse to hear me out was a huge red flag for me. If that's how patients are spoken to and treated at Associates for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery - somewhere that practices sedation dentistry and actively advertises for anxious and phobic patients - if that's how Dr. Rajagopal & Dr. Savage conduct their business I can't have any confidence that I would be treated any differently while someone is literally operating on my face. (Jokes a little on them because I fully knew that I'm nearing the max on my dental insurance and would likely be paying cash for the procedure itself, I just wanted my dental insurance to cover what it could on the exam while I saved in the meantime. Congrats to the Dr. that will now be receiving a cash payment though!)

So I would say their work is of the highest quality there is. Just excellent. That whole place runs like a well oiled machine. They make sure everything happens how it's supposed to. They take care of everything and think of everything. Sincerely. At 62 years old, I have had a lot of dental work in my life. This place and this guy are the best there is OR among the others who are BEST. He's at the top of his game. I just can't say enough good about these people. Every single person there that attended to me, were TRULY amazing. I mean it. Even though I just got surgery, I left there with a lighter heart. Awesome place.

I was never contacted about these requirements by the staff. Thankfully, I called ahead of time to see what I need to do to be prepared and had to drive out to get the prescription to get it filled. 30 minutes before my appointment, I receive a call saying I can't have my procedure today because they didn't have me sign the consent forms ahead of time. This was unacceptable as I had this appointment setup for 6 months and took time off from work. My son drove me down there and the dentist agreed to reschedule to Friday to get the forms filled out ahead of time. The staff person that failed to inform me of the forms and the prescription needed, made a rude remark about me to her coworker saying she knew I was going to be a "problem". My son overheard this and got very angry and yelled at her. He then left the office and apologized for getting mad. I spoke directly to the staff member and told her that he was upset because she was talking bad about me, the patient, when it wasn't my issue that she had not properly prepared me for the appointment. She became enraged and told me that I am not allowed to be there and I'm dismissed from the office for "doing this to them", when in fact, I was the victim of her extreme incompetence and her unprofessional comments about me. After all of this, I have to start all over to get my teeth fixed because of one bad employee that fails to do her job and then blames the patients when they are upset that their lives have been turned upside down because of her lack of due diligence and preparation for patient care. I do not recommend this dentist's office unless the staff are replaced with professional, competent people that don't threaten to call the police on customers for sharing their feelings about their experience. This staff manager has cost the dentist a lot of money and business, and she doesn't deserve that because she is a good woman that gave us gas money in good faith and apologized for the situation. I hope she realizes that one bad seed can ruin it for the rest.
