Dr. Nelson and his staff are all very welcoming and friendly. They have a very affordable dental program for those who are without insurance (as we are) at a reasonable rate (I've shopped around). The dentist and staff addressed all of our questions from dental procedures to follow up care. Dr. Nelson contacted my husband, personally, on two occasions following dental procedures to see how he was doing. I would recommend Central Point Family Dentistry without hesitation. read more

Very very extremely rude staff member to answer the phone. I'm a college student and my tooth broke and because I'm on OHP for the time being she was very rude and not very nice. I called back and immediately she put me on hold for a long time so don't waste your time with these people. They don't care about you all they care about is how much money they can make read more

Dr Nelson answered all the questions I had and was very reassuring with my dental concerns as was his assistant. The office staff was efficient and friendly. The office itself is sparkly clean and comfortable. I now look foreword to having my dental work done there and I'm happy they are so close to home. Also Dr Nelson's Family Dentistry seems very reasonably priced. read more

My husband chipped a tooth and the staff got him in for an appointment the very next morning. After an exam and X-rays the doc "sanded-down" the rough spot and he was good to go! Prices are fair and the doc & his team were thorough. My husband will be back to have some old fillings replaced. We appreciated that they did not try to up-sell on a bunch of extras. read more

I went to this practice on Tuesday the 16th of March for an exam and evaluation. After hundreds of dollars they spent of my money that day on. days and a lecture I was told by Steve NNelson that my teeth will eventually rot and fall out and that the 7 good teeth i still have will fall out one by one. And the only thing they can do for me is keep them cleaned until I am toothless since my bone structure prevents my getting fillings, dentures or anything else. I do have a regular dentist that i am going back to on the 15th of April. I only tried this practice because it is close to my house. By the way, my teeth are doing well as can be for my age and osteoporosis and my regular dentist has never voiced anything remotely close to that. I have all but 3 teeth and i intend to keep them. I would stay far away from Dr. Nelson unless your 20 years old with perfect teeth. read more

What a top notch office! These guys know what they are doing and enjoy doing it. Their hygienist is very thorough, not missing a thing! She clearly has a passion for preventative care and doesn't let anything slip by. Thank you Dr. Nelson, RDH Laura Ambrosini and team. I'll be back! read more

Dr Nelson and his staff have been wonderful! I have had some bad experiences in the past with other dentists and am also a big baby when it comes to pain. I let the team know and they have done everything possible to take care of my teeth gently and worked to relieve my anxiety around having to get dental work done. Dr Nelson is extra cautious when it comes to my pain and is always making sure I'm ok. Mandy at the front desk is always helpful and smiling, and Sierra has been extra gentle while working with me. Great place, highly recommend read more

We have been going to see Dr. Nelson for several years for routine dental care. We have always enjoyed the entire staff; they made the dental experience pleasant. When we discovered my husband needed to have some teeth pulled and a partial denture made we didn't hesitate to have Dr. Nelson do the work. Cost was reasonable and discussed before the procedure. Dr. Nelson and staff went above and beyond to make sure the fit was perfect and that my husband was pleased with the results. And he is very pleased! read more

Just had my first appointment with Dr. Steve Nelson for a filling and cleaning. This was by far the best dental experience I've had. I recently moved to southern Oregon and in the past have become accustomed to having to deal with pain, from the numbing shot to cleanings - but this time was different. No pain, couldn't even feel the shot! Dr. Nelson and his staff were friendly, personable and made me feel completely at ease. The staff is amazing and the office is state of the art. I am so happy to have found Central Point Family Dentistry and will recommend them to my family and friends. read more

Had not been to the dentist for a number of years and made an appointment. Contacted Mandy and scheduled a cleaning and check-up. When I arrived I filled out the necessary paper work and was in the dental chair within 5 minutes. Laura greeted me and did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and taking ex-rays. Dr. Nelson meet with me and took his time informing me of the necessary work I needed. A treatment/payment plan was designed as I needed two fillings and one crown. At the next appointment Dr. Nelson and Sierra prepped for the crown and filled the cavities. Both worked together to ensure I was comfortable and not experiencing any pain. Dr. Nelson and his staff treat you well and truly seem to want to provide the best dental experience possible. I would not hesitate to recommend Central Point Family Dentistry. read more
