We ordered an iced…read morehalf-sweet vanilla latte and an iced half-sweet Purple Haze latte, and after just two sips, we ended up tossing them. What threw me off first was the preparation. I watched them pull espresso shots, leave them sitting, then head to the back and suddenly my drinks appeared. When I asked about it, I was told the espresso was "pre-pulled and chilled." Meanwhile, the shots I originally saw pulled sat untouched at the machine for about two minutes (100% expired at that point). It was a confusing process and honestly, pre-pulled espresso just doesn't taste fresh. As for the drinks themselves, they were overly sweet. The vanilla latte had an odd banana flavor, and the Purple Haze tasted chemical (ironically). Overall, I won't be back for drinks. I've heard great things about their beans, so it's a shame I didn't get to experience a fresh espresso shot

Ambiance: 9.5/10 I…read morereally liked the covered outdoor seating. It was comfortable, inviting, and a great place to sit and enjoy a coffee. The tables were a little rickety, but that's certainly no reason to stay away. I didn't sit inside, so I can't fairly comment on the indoor space. Why 9.5 instead of 10? The rickety tables. I know. I know. It's a nitpick. I'm okay with being honest about it. Service: 10/10 The gentleman who took care of me was genuinely friendly, and the service was prompt and attentive. It was a nice contrast to places where you get the distinct impression the person serving you would rather be anywhere else. Nothing to criticize here. The service was exactly what it should be. Food: 8/10 This is where they lost me a little. I asked about the baked goods and was told they're sourced through a distributor. I understand that this is common practice, and there was nothing inherently wrong with what I had. But "nothing wrong with it" is a pretty low bar for a café. There's a bakery and restaurant directly across the street, and there are excellent local bakeries that deliver fresh products daily. Why resell distributor-sourced baked goods when there's an opportunity to support another local business and serve something that could make the food every bit as memorable as the service and atmosphere? For me, that's the difference between an 8 and a 10. Ambiance: 9.5/10 Service: 10/10 Food: 8/10
