Haven't been here in a while. When I lived in Denton I would usually come here to get my brows done because they were very fast. Decided to get them threaded really quickly while stopping in the mall. I have no complaints on how they came out. I like them thinner so I can fill it a bit with makeup but they look good without makeup too. Only took her about 7 mins. $10 bucks so not bad. I may start getting them threaded here again for convenience. read more

I had my eyebrows and then later in the day my eyelashes done, Grapevine Mills Mall location. The eyebrows were ok, but not great! The eyelashes were really ugly....not at all what I expected. I had them done Friday and came back Saturday, less than 24 hours, to have them removed...painful, thick and really ugly...I did not want to be seen in public!! I was told to call the manager, to talk about refund...I was told 50.00 and was charged 65.00...the managers phone number has no voice mail set-up......huum...very unprofessional. As they told me NO REFUNDS...she made good on that....even if the service was terrible , she, did not have any concerns as to what actually happened ...she offered me 25.00 and one 15.00 dollar eyebrow service. Of course, I did not want a eye lash job as done originally!!!! Manager was loud mouth and rude, spoke over me continuously !! I usually do not get my eyebrows done in Denton, but they were looking pretty crazy. So I decided to try this place out. They have mall hours because it's inside a mall so that's a plus. They did fine on the eye brow threading but Im writing this review for the eye lash extensions. It's great because I believe it's usually $25 but they sometimes run specials for it making it $20. I decided to try it out and I loved it. Everyone loved it on me and thought it was very natural. Keep in mind, these are not mink eyelash extensions. They last about 7-12 days depending on how well you keep them. Basically oil free makeup etc and the obvious, no rubbing. I've gotten them 3 times and they looked good every time. I think they are worth it. As a matter of fact, 2 of my friends went to get them done because of me and they also like them a lot. read more

I am terribly disappointed in this place. I live in Dallas and I just come to Denton, to this specific location to get my eyebrows done. Usually I get this other lady that wasn't there yesterday. I went and some young girl did my eyebrows. I wish I would of never gone to her, seriously! She took forever with me and she kept hurting me. I've been doing my eyebrow threading since I was 14 like I know what it feels like. But no, she kept taking her time, so I'm over here thinking she is doing a good job. I'm not a thin eyebrow person, and neither are my eyebrows, I have thick ones. But this girl left them so thin!!!! I don't come here often because it is so pricey but when I do the owner of the store usually does my eyebrow threading and they always look AMAZING!! She's also super sweet and definitely knows what she's doing! The last time I went in, one of my eyebrows was thinner than the other and she saw that immediately and made them look incredible! I would even go as far as to say that I don't know anyone that threads eyebrows as well as her!! I'm not too sure about the other workers, but the owner is phenomenal. Avoid this place if you can. I normally get my eyebrows done at home for 4$ where they do a fantastic job. However, I was in Denton and decided to stop by. I specifically asked for a clean up because I already don't have the thickest brows. I told her " MY BROWS ARE TOO THIN TO SHAPE", and like most people, they don't follow the same exact arch either. What does she do? She tries to arch and shape my brows. When I sat up I could hardly see the end of my brows she threaded them so thin. What a waste of 10$. And when I politely told her I didn't ask for them to be arched she tells me my brow is shaped funny... Well if it was funny looking before imagine it now. Save your money. I usually get my eyebrows done in Irving for only $5. Since I attend univ. in Denton, this was the only place I could find that did threading. They charge $10 and expect you to tip after their terrible service. They only had one person on the floor doing everyone's eyebrows, and since it was pretty busy, she was rushing. The woman did my eyebrows in less than 3 minutes, and missed a lot of spots, so I wouldn't even consider it a clean-up. In fact I looked worse when I walked out than when I came in. The cashier was very demanding/rude and basically wanted to get rid of everyone while blatantly counting money at the register. Unless you personally know the staff, don't expect these people to do a good job because they flat out don't care about you. read more

This place does a great job with eyebrow threading, especially Lena. No infections or mistakes, they were very even. Also only $8 for students. Eyelash extensions are cheap compared to other salons, however, the glue used to apply and the lashes itches intensely. The chemical used to remove the lashes burns very badly. When you have your eyelashes done, the glue irritates your skin but rubbing your eye hurts, as the sensitive skin on the underside of your eyelids is stretched tight and glued. I've also had them on for almost a week, and most of them have fallen out. It may be best to have them done by professional estheticians for more money; threading doesn't require a license. read more

The customer service was awful, I felt awkward because the staff literally didn't speak to me except for a few words like "stretch your eyebrows please" during threading. It would have been a little better if they were just completely quiet, but the woman doing my eyebrows was talking to the other staff member the whole time. I just asked for a clean up & my eyebrows were very thin & poorly shaped, it hurt worse than usual, AND now I have scans underneath my brow. I have gotten my eyebrows threaded many times, so my skin being sensitive is not the problem. They then did my eyelash extensions, & granted, they were cheap. The only thing is that it burned my eyes, they were watering and the woman providing the service said nothing & continued on. It would be one thing if it was just me allergic to the glue, but EVERYONE that has gotten their lashes done here is "allergic" to it, so that makes me think they are just using some non-FDA approved glue. I didn't get to see the brand but they were getting the lashes from what looked like an Ardell DIY eyelash extension kit. I'm a cosmetologist & I know they have to have violated some TDLR rules & regulations. Please don't go here, the possibility for an infection or illness is high, and the staff is incredibly rude. read more
