I came upon Julia's Instagram page upon my search and loved seeing her work with permanent lip blushes. My appointment with her went well! Before she began, she mixed the color and let me preview it. She was patient & informative. I was happy how it turned out. The best thing was I didn't feel as much pain as I anticipated because her topical numbing was great! The whole experience was nice. I went in for a touch up about a month after the initial (which i strongly recommend because it made it look even better in my opinion)!

Instead of making me feel comfortable, I was asked several personal questions that had nothing to do with the procedure, which made me feel uncomfortable. I also felt that the lady lacked the professionalism I expected. The overall experience did not inspire confidence, and the customer service was poor from start to finish. I would not recommend this business. I believe clients should be treated with respect, have their privacy honored, and feel confident they are in capable hands. She only does what she wants not what the client wants. She made my lips on the sides too wide. I was speaking and telling her that not what I want she immediately put a powder on my lips like I wasn't speaking. Rude Russian girl, I give it a ZERO, and negative 100

(Cough, ex partner, cough). I've been wanting to get my brows microbladed for a while now, but was very reluctant on the process. I hosted a baby shower for my best friend, and I noticed how amazing her mother in law's brows looked! I asked for Charlene's contact info and immediately booked an appointment for my mom and I. My eyebrows are VERY uneven and sparse. I blame the early 2000's overplucking era. My arches don't align. One brow is higher, the other is more rounded. The list goes on and on. Charlene was able to find a happy medium to match up my brows. She is very professional and sweet. She takes her time to make sure you are completely satisfied with the end results. My mother and I booked our appointments together, and talking to Charlene was so easy. We chatted as if we've been friends for years. Before anything is done, Charlene will go over paperwork with you. Then she gives you a packet of ointment to keep the brows hydrated. Keep up with the ointment regimen 2-3 times a day. My brows healed beautifully and took the pigment very well. I just completed my follow up session, and I didn't lose any pigmentation from the first round since I maintained my brows during the healing regimen. My two cents about it: The healing process was itchy. But that's to be expected since the skin is healing. Whenever you feel an itch coming, aquaphor the hell out of your brow. You'll be grand after that. The first few days, the pigment will appear DARK, (like a sharpie brow). I started scabbing around day 3 and was completely scab free by day 8. DO NOT PICK AT THE SCAB! Let the scab fall off on its own. I have absolutely no regrets about microblading. I love my end results. My only regret is not getting them done sooner! I just feel so much more confident now that I have brows on my face. My brows look so natural and people are shocked when I tell them they're microbladed and not my real eyebrow hairs. Job well done Charlene! I have attached some pictures. One of my healing process. And the other of my before, first session, full heal, second session.

I decided to get microblading done due to my eyebrows being quite sparse, and because I have a few areas which don't grow in at all, plus I felt my brows were too short. I did a lot of research before deciding who to go to, and I am happy that I did all the research I could. Make sure you go to someone who also has examples of what their healed work looks like. Anyways, as for the actual procedure, it took about 2 hours or so. I was happy with the first set of brows that my artist drew for me so we didn't have to spend a lot of time in the drawing stage. I was comfortable during the procedure, there was numbing cream used before we got started so the process was 100% bearable. I loved how she would continue to ask me how I felt to ensure it was as pain free as possible. Her place is SUPER clean and as I watched her set up for my session I was pleased to see how detailed she was and the price is very fair and reasonable.
