So before going to Danica for ombré powder, I used to spend 10-30 minutes EVERYDAY doing my eyebrows and they still never looked right. I was spending a lot of money on pomade that dried out in a month or two and wasn't really the perfect color for me, but as a blonde it's difficult to find a good shade. I found Danica here on Yelp, went to her Instagram, and instantly knew that she was perfect for me. Her work is amazing and I loved that she had such a wide range of clients on her IG, different ages, races, and eyebrow colors - including blonde, which I almost never see on an artist's profile. I made my appointment and was able to have a virtual consultation with her where I spoke about any concerns and what I wanted out of this. She was so sweet and personable, but so professional. I arrived for my appointment with my eyebrows done, so Danica could see how I typically do them with makeup. She began measuring and outlining her vision based on my requests and made sure that I loved what I saw before she got to tattooing. Seeing the final product was crazy, she did exactly what I hoped for and they look BEAUTIFUL! Danica explained all of the after care clearly and made sure that I understood exactly what I needed to do and what to expect as my brows healed. I will never recommend this place to anyone.First of all there's a lot to say. For those of you who are wanting to start your own business ombré brows and get in the PMU industry I do not recommend this place. There's 2 Day master class that you need to take which you have to pay for first and after that they have you pay extra for the Apprenticeship including 2 month learning program and a chair rental. I didn't learn anything so much from the class that was teach by the owner Danica in those two days of the master class all she did was just talk about her business and trips personal stuff and didn't really take the time to be professional and teach us what was promised. On the second day all they were worried about was for me and the other girl to pay the extra money. Which one thing that was really weird from her was that she had me pay most of the money cash and she tried to say because there's problems with the system if we pay with a debit card I don't know why at the moment I didn't think that that was kind of weird. I decided to take the apprenticeship only because I really wanted to open my own business and work for myself so I decided to give it a try. And again of course nothing that was promised to me after paying was done I mentioned to the owner Danica and her assistant that I wasn't learning anything and they just ignore it like they didn't really care. They set me up for me to be coming some days of the week for me to shadow her and those days that I did come over it was just a waste of time because all she did was tell us to have a seat on the table and practice but never once was she there next to us teaching us. I was really upset because I had to pay for the extra teaching for them to get me started and not once they try to help me moving forward with the process. The owner of this place all she cares for is the money she doesn't care for her students if they're learning or not. After all this that was happening to me I tried to tell her that based on the contract that I signed she broke the rules of not teaching me so I asked her if I could just have my money back please and I will returned everything that was given to me. She reflected back to the contract that I signed and I told her that I was not learning anything and it was just a waste of time so never once replied to me about giving my money back so I had to hire an attorney my attorney contacted her by sending a letter and explaining to her the laws in California and that she had broken one of the laws and just took my money. She never once tried to give me my money back till this point. I will never ever ever recommend this place to anyone all they do is take your money and don't care whether you Succeed or not. And you have to figure it for your self after paying all that money. Please don't take the class find someone who really cares for there students to get in the business and succeed. AMAZING. To sum it up. The appointment was for my mom. Danica was so professional, informative and patient. Her work was ON POINT. First my mom tried the henna and loved it so we went back and got her the permanent brows. Danica took her time to shape my moms brows to what I'll call perfection. My mom is so so happy that she no longer has to draw on her eyebrows every day and that my kids can't wipe them off, lol. Danica was sure to tell my mom that the first few days she may panic cuz the brows can peel or may seem lighter, etc. and that was to be expected. But at least my mom knew. She healed great, her brows are bomb. I would only take my mom to the best. I can honestly and without a doubt say Danica is the best. We live an hour away from her beauty shop but it's worth the drive, it's your face! Don't look for something more convenient or for something that may be cheaper and have regrets.
