I feel like I wasted her time. I always get my full face threaded and I literally just asked Michelangelo to paint a fence white. I had a woman who was so precise and so gentle thread my cheeks, and I feel like she could have been making the world more beautiful, but instead she was with me. Her thread was thin (iykyk), and she had me holding back skin and getting angles no one has ever hit before. She made me feel things I didn't know I could feel anymore. She was so welcoming that I legit had to question if everyone who walked in there was a regular. They were not. A real regular came in and I saw the difference. It was still cute though. Loved that everyone gets that kind of treatment. read more

OMG I'm so impressed with the work of art that I got at Yalda Brow Bar. I'm 79 years old and had my brows and lips done and I feel like a teenager, they made me look about 10 to 15 years younger. The owner has been doing my eyebrows for years and it's perfectly fine. I have thick eyebrows and I always just need trim. Today, a different lady did my eyebrow and almost lost my left eyebrow. She almost didn't leave anything on the left end side, and she made everything so thin! She completely ruined my eyebrows and made me cry. Do not go to this place unless you know the owner will do it! You lost one customer today. I will never go back. read more

I've been coming here for years. Yalda originally was the one who did my eyebrows and I was always satisfied. She has since then hired some staff who do a terrible job. This last trip I took there was a completed BOTCHED job. One brow was thinner than the other and one was left longer in length than the other side. I was refunded after going back to the shop to complain. I talked to Yalda personally about my experience and she told me to contact her next time and she'll do them personally. So next time comes around, I said "I'll give this place one more try but only if Yalda does them" I contacted her and she had the audacity to say "I charge more to personally do brows and it's by appointment only" I knew that was not completely true. I know other people who do "walk ins" and she's the only one running the shop... she charges them normal price. I've been a loyal customer here for about 5 years... They have now lost my business. I am completely unhappy with the customer service. I found a great eyebrow place in Carlsbad! The name of the shop is "Brow Experts" . They commented on how bad my eyebrows had been trimmed, and shaped over the years. Check out their Yelp! Better price than Yaldas shop. read more

I have been coming to Sadaf since 2011. I used to go to her previous spot but switched over to when she opened her salon. She does a phenomenal job!! She ensures you are happy with the shape, thickness, and style. She works diligently until every single hair is removed. Best of all you cannot feel a thing- it is essentially pain-free. I moved out of state for the last two years and I am so happy to be back because no one makes my eyebrows look as good as Sadaf. I cannot recommend her enough! read more

I came to get my eyebrows done (April 25th) and both online and yelp state that they are open until 6pm but got here at 5:40pm and they are closed. It's a bummer since I drove about 30 mins to get here. Another woman came at the same time as I did to get hers done as well. I hope they update their hours so others don't waste their time and gas. read more

I appreciate how she talks to the customer first to see what we would like to do rather than assuming that everybody wants their eyebrows cleaned and thin. WOW! OMG This is the second time I come, because I was going out of the country, but now I decided to get my body waxed (including full brazilian) and full face, and today I decided to try do my nails too and I was amazed !!!! I went here for a cleanup without an appointment and Yalda took me in right away. She was soo thorough and very knowledgeable. I i came in to get my eyebrows done. Once i left i started to look at them, they looked different. You can clearly see the difference in the picture, one is thinner and more arched than the other. Well I called and Yalda answered she said for me to go in so she can see what she can do. Well i went in, she immediately looked at them and said "your eyebrows are fine there is absolutely nothing wrong with them" i was like "one looks thinner and more arched than the other" she replied " i am a straight forward person and I would tell you if there was something wrong with them", then she sat me down to "clean them up more", then she said i had to grow my hair out cause i had no hair there. Mind you before I went i grew my hair out for 2 months! And i told her that. Her solution was "sorry this happened but the work has already been done, the most I can do is give you half a refund" I didn't want to argue or deal with them at that point anymore. I said "okay" . And point of it is I will not be back anymore. I had to pay for half the fuck up and have a botched eyebrow. read more

I've been going to her for the past 8 years now (she was in Mira Mesa before) and I just don't trust anyone else with my brows! I've gone to other threading shops but the quality of work is just not the same. She really listens to what you want, I've gone through phases where I wanted them thicker or thinner and she has been spot on every time! My advice if you're new to threading, trust the process.. I have never had my eyebrows tinted before, but as they are getting a wee bit sparse thought I would give it try. I had read online reviews and was lucky enough to get them done by Yalda...super incredible, beautiful results. My brows were tinted a very natural color and threaded delicately to bring out the natural shape of my brows...RESULT-fabulous. Will definitely be going back there again read more

As the weeks went on both sets of lashes settled to the same "height" and I no longer needed to keep my appointment. During the original appointment we talked about eyebrows and how I had an Ombre service done but how they're kind of faded now and how I wasn't happy with how thin they were. We talked about her eyebrow services and how I should grow my eyebrows out. So I did for 3 months. As California settles in for our 2nd lock down and the Salons/Spa's THIRD shutdown, I knew I had to try to get in to tame this circus. I hit up Dafne on Ig, she is super fast at responding, sent her pictures of my eyebrows and we scheduled an appointment. She cleaned up and reshaped my brows and tinted them. We decided to go a little thicker than normal and I am so glad we did. She brought me back to life. She will be my new go to. Her prices are right, her space is clean and her tint and lift products are CF and Vegan friendly. Plus I get my skin treatments and hair done all in the same vicinity, so it just works out well for me. Hopefully 3 weeks will go by fast and you all will be busier than ever! xo

Ive never written a review but this place deserves it! She leaves them just how you want them. She doesn't do it in a hurry and actually takes her time. She leaves your eyebrows nice and thick. I used to go to the mall and have to wait a while to get Nancy but Yalda is amazing and so friendly! Eyebrows are 12$ & so worth it. This place is now my go to! read more

So happy to switch. Yalda is so thorough and detailed I don't find any missed hairs after a session. Plus she has a lighter touch than others I've gone to which makes it less painful. No cuts or bruises like I would sometimes get at another local threading salon. So glad she moved to our area! read more
