I highly recommend this place. I had my eyebrows done in July 2019 by Angela. I did ombré and Angela marked and measured eyebrow shape, and explained the process thoroughly. She then meticulously worked on my eyebrows for several hours until they were satisfactory. She constantly used numbing cream so it didn't hurt for me personally. Afterwards, she explained how to take care of the eyebrows as well. I had many compliments that my eyebrows looked shapely and natural. Wow wow wow such a talented artist. I was so skeptical about doing anything "permanent" where you can't hide it if it goes wrong. After reviewing so many different artists on Yelp, I decided Angela's style would suit me which is the powder ombré. The shapes she created is unique to each individual rather than being one shape fits all. First round, nobody knew I even had anything done to my brows because it was that natural. Touch up was slightly noticeable by some for the first few days but now it's still super natural and I love it. I needed it so much since I barely had any eyebrows left with my aging. It became really sparse. The pain level was a 1 or 2, totally bearable that you doze off. Angela is meticulous in her work and communicates every detail you may have concerns or what to expect. Angela is a brow magician! Usually, I ignore my eyebrows except for filling them in with an eyebrow pencil once in a while and semi-annual visits to an eyebrow threading salon where the threader likes to point out how little eyebrow hair I have. I was shopping at Madewell one day when I noticed the salesperson there had the most perfect, envy-inducing brows. When I complimented the salesperson on her brows, she urged me to get microblading done at Brows by Angela. Of course, I immediately started following Brows by Angela on Instagram and became obsessed with the microblading before and after pictures. After a few weeks of stalking the Instagram account, I booked an appointment online via the website. When I arrived at my appointment feeling a bit nervous, Angela put me at ease, and I knew I was in capable hands. She was particular about only using the best products on her clients and was a stickler for hygiene. She used numbing cream during the microblading process so I didn't feel pain - it felt more like my eyebrows were getting exfoliated. I'm not one to use a lot of makeup but having my brows done is something I had been thinking about for a while. Why? Well because everyone says your eyebrows frame the face and apparently if there's one thing you want to do, it's the brows! As a mom of a toddler, I feel so tired all the time. I'm a walking mess or at least I feel that way but I don't want to look that way. However, I'm so clueless when it comes to makeup and I honestly don't like to waste much time putting anything on. Also, eyebrows are hard for me. After much contemplation and researching, I finally decided to take the plunge! I browsed yelp, Instagram, and consulted those I knew for recommendations. I finally found Angela and scrolled through her client photos. I fell in love with how natural all the brows looked! And that was my intention, to look done but still be natural since I don't usually wear much makeup if any at all. Although I was excited for a new look, I was still really nervous. I had seen some of my friends get really bad semi permanent makeup done and though all the photos looked so amazing, it's still scary. I called Angela to ask some questions - she answered promptly and was very comforting. She let me know over the phone that we would talk through the entire process and she wouldn't make any decisions without me. I was able to schedule my appointment for a few days after our call (lucky me!!). First appointment - Angela was sooo sweet, warm and friendly. She knew that I was nervous and worried but she stayed happy, calm and cool and kept on reassuring me. She literally talked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable with everything she did. My eyebrows are definitely sisters and not twins and she was able to make them match but not look unnatural. She was also very honest about what would look good but still listened to what o said and make sure that the finished look would be what I wanted. After the first session, I was a bit shocked as the color was so deep and not what I was used to. Tbh I was not sure this was the right thing for me to have done to myself. After a day or two, I was actually loving the bold look!! The healing part took about 10 days for me. The scabbing part is not fun haha but it's over fairly quickly. After that the look had lightened quite a bit and I was sad and wanted more! Just did my touch up today and I absolutely LOVE it!!! Angela did an amazing job! I have to go through the healing process once more but I am confident that I am going to look great! No more ragged mom here! I still probably won't be putting on makeup but that's a okay! I have these amazing eyebrows!! I definitely recommend Angela for your semi permanent make up needs. She is super professional, fun, friendly, and does great work. Super clean and very meticulous. Also, she takes her time and makes sure you are happy with what she has sketched. She also asks you to be sure and she wants you to be honest. (She has said that a darker brow would look great on me but she knew that I prefer natural and she wanted me to make sure I told her if her idea was too bold for me).
