Natural Law is one of the better bars I would say, after checking out a few others in town. Has some very good drinks. The food not so much but it's edible mostly. Came in with my female friend. It always seems to have specials going on. We got the 10 ounce frozen machine drinks special. It's $5 every day. The one we got was the Malibu Berry, good stuff. It hardly tasted like there was alcohol. There was. As for food there's not much good. There's mostly typical greasy bar stuff. We had the Fry Basket. It's $3 so it's shit ass cheap. These weren't so terrible to be honest. Follow the saying of "you get what you pay for." In this case pay little and get something fairly okay. This place isn't like it's anything special but it will do if needing to get blitzed or if you're just watching people blitzing in a football game or whatever.

Food is the usual stuff fried and greasy. It's about $6 for chips and salsa. Also they have free popcorn but how fresh is it. The rest of the menu is greasy burgers and mystery looking meats. Tucked away from the street and near the Little Calumet River, Riverside Tap boasts one of the BEST outdoor spaces I've sat down to have a drink in. Grab a cheap n cold classic (Old Style or the like - nothing too fancy here) and head out the side door for an amazing beer garden filled with horseshoe pits, barbeque grills, and cozy decks. You'll feel far from home, and the dull roar of the interstate and nearby freight trains start to seem relaxing as you settle in for a drink with friends. Honestly, I don't know why this place isn't packed every weekend, but to be fair, it's probably best that it's not. It's a secret you might want to keep, but can't resist sharing. There's nothing else like it. You can't buy this sort of authenticity these days. The owners are great, the bartenders are friendly, the regulars full of stories and happy to share. The bar isn't that big but there's enough room for groups and parties. A bit of confusion about this type of bar. It has an Irish name but the food is more like Mexican. A lot of the food is typical for a bar such as burgers, wings, and greasy fried meats. However they also have tacos. These actually seem to be the most popular things. It's about $6 for cocktails. They have the basic whiskeys. It's about $3 for tacos, of which you choose the filling. Of the choices there's beef, chicken, or just vegetables.
