People complain that contractors are terrible with communication - Mike responded promptly and only during non-business hours because when he is working on a job, he is not answering phone calls or emails. He is very efficient and honest about the job. The job actually took less time than expected and he didn't even attempt to overcharge or charge a minimum fee. He did a beautiful job on our door. He did not leave a trace - no messy stuff left behind, no cleaning necessary, mindful not to scuff walls/respectful of property. He is very polite and reasonably priced. I will not hesitate in calling Mike again.

The are prompt, professional, efficient, expedient, priced reasonably, communicative, and extremely skilled (in any order). I am positively gushing about my beautiful new closets and sturdy garage storage Mike constructed, that my new construction home actually lacked! Mike and his team are fantastic, I can not say enough positive about him and his team. In his profile, Mike uses such words as prompt, professional, top notch and happy customers. This is an understatement. I received Mike's information by word of mouth from a friend and actually hesitated to share this treasure with others, as I fear he will be booked next time I need him - and I will! DISCLAIMER: I believe Yelp should require ALL reviews to be by those who are not influenced or in any capacity known to the vendor. I write my reviews, including this one, fully applying this self-imposed requirement. (This is especially true of filtered reviews, which are suspicious. But you already knew that.)

I had purchased a large townhouse that needed significant work before it could be rented. After gathering multiple quotes and meeting Nelson on-site, his detailed explanations and thorough approach made him the clear choice. He consistently arrived on time each morning and exceeded expectations. Nelson quickly turned around a poorly done paint job and delivered meticulous flooring work. He even met me at the flooring wood depot to pick out the best wood for the price. Even when I was out of town, he went above and beyond by tidying up the space and installing new smoke detectors. I've already recommended him to other investors and am currently working with him again on replacing doors in another unit. Nelson embodies timeliness, trustworthiness, and fair pricing--qualities that make him a go-to professional.
