Simply marvellous, A friend was having his birthday dinner there and the place was able to seat us and then the night began uphill I say. I'm a wheelchair user so I phoned to ask whether it was wheelchair accessible, got to the restaurant to find two steps but they were minor ones if I was using an electric wheelchair it would have not been possible without a ramp. Putting that aside I for my seat at the table we had a waiter who was on his second day there this was not noticeable until he mentioned it. The food was fantastic the ambiance was bright and I would like to return to this place to eat.

Great place to enjoy a pint and a meall. Looks of business lunches going on. Quiet enough to be able to hear/have a conversation. Staff was very friendly and was easy to walk in and get a seat at the bar at 2 on a Friday.

Came in here for breakfast on Sunday. Fairly quiet, a few customers and one waiter. I quite liked the booth seating and the ceiling is beautiful. We ordered two traditional breakfasts with poached eggs, along with eggs benedict. Unfortunately, all 6 eggs were completely overcooked! No runny orange egg yolk, just a solid yellow mass. The ultimate disappointment! We asked for scrambled eggs to replace the eggs, and they happily obliged. They were not good.. A bit over salted, under stirred and sat in water. That being said, it's not all bad. The bacon was cooked well and it is evident some of the ingredients are of a higher quality. Just need to work on cooking it right!

I think this is by far one of my favorite restaurants in 2012. The food: AMAZING!!! Highly recommend their Steak and Mushroom pie (see photo). The pie is just thin enough to get that buttery taste and the cruchness, but not too much to feel that's all you are getting of the pie; the sauce is rich and creamy; the steak is so tender and soft that they almost melt in your mouth... I think it's one of The Best I have ever had, it is certainly to die for. All the other food are very good quality too (i.e. the Tuna starter - who says you can't get fresh sea food in London?) The atmosphere: I have been here during lunch as well as dinner, both occasions it was busy but not TOO busy allowing you to fully enjoy the atmosphere and the food. The decoration of the restaurant gives a clean nice vintage feel, mixing it with the traditional British cuisine. Price: considering it is in the middle of Mayfair and the quality of the restaurant, the price is very reasonable! The main courses are in average £10-15. If you order a main and a drink only, you can easily walk out with just paying £15 (say you order the pie and a soft drink) The staff are young and trendy (and incidentally good looking!) but also friendly and attentive. Try this place guys! Thumb up!

As a visitor from the states, I was very pleased with my meal. I got the crab and prawn linguini and my boyfriend got the fish pie, both excellent. The cocktails are also delicious and freshly garnished.

The food and drinks are quite dece. It's next to the Oxford street. The music is adorable pleasant and the service is very good.

It's a little unassuming family run restaurant but with serious intent from the kitchen. I was offered a table in the main dining room or the garden when I walked in - as we are in the middle of 'Wimbledon week showers', I chose to dine indoors. The menu was written in impressively authentic sounding terms but closer inspection revealed some fusion going on - lemongrass, tumeric and enoki mushrooms being amongst the ingredients on show. I'm up for a bit of fusion as long as it doesn't end in con-fusion! Having confirmed that I was hungry, the helpful waiter suggested getting 3 dishes. I couldn't help myself and went for the fusion sounding dishes. Panceta con cidra was pork belly, rolled and marinated with garlic, black pepper and dill, braised in Asturian cider. I zoom in pork belly whenever I see it and this version has been slowly cooked to melting tenderness with the dill coming through strongly - it didn't need the wedge of lemon which came with it and I enjoyed it as it arrived. Pollo a la plancha del Parador were a pair of chicken thighs marinated in lemon grass, turmeric, garlic & coriander and cooked on the plancha (grill). I prefer dark meat as it remains moist and the oriental kick wasn't too overwhelming. When the waiter said the Higadillos Salteados (chicken livers with Iberico Jamon, enoki mushrooms, shallots, black pepper and butter) would be served pink inside, I smiled - nice to see a restaurant willing to serve food as it should be cooked and not pander to squeamish guests. These were a delight and to get some Iberico ham from acorn-fed pigs was a bonus. This is tapas of the highest order, given a little twist. A little Yelp gem which deserves its high star rating.

Situated on quite a quiet street, it is well worth taking a visit. With a choice of over 40 tapas, all very well priced and utterly delicious. Your choice of dish will flirt wildly with all senses and deliver all promises. I am always very happy to find a restaurant which has a diverse yet experienced selection of fish. El Parador specialises in scallops, Halibut, and crab... although they were many others still left to be tried. The interior Decor, to me seemed rather french with little white table clothes and a smart yet gentle ambience. The wine list was impressive to say the least, with over 30 bottles of wine, in the price range of £13-30, with over 15 available by glass. The lunchtime menu has a special offer of 3 tapas for the price of two.

But it was surprisingly good although it's not the cheapest restaurant out there. The steak is flavorful and cooked to our liking. Along with the chips, it's a very satisfying meal. We got put at the table upstairs and the lighting is a bit weird but the restaurant has a cozy ambiance.
