If ever there was a truly outstanding ambassador for loading and moving and unloading- it was Tommy, and his son, Brent. Upon arriving to my new home - an unusual confrontation with a neighbor ensued... Tommy handled the confrontation with the diplomacy of a highly skilled negotiator-- totally diffusing the potential conflict while keeping the unloading going smoothly. To this day, I still cannot figure how he negotiated that huge rig through the complex hairpin turns and many parked cars-- it's what he does and he's an expert at doing so. My experience with Browning Moving & Storage has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the start, the service was sloppy and incomplete. Several of my boxes arrived opened and torn, and some are still missing. Despite repeated calls, no one has bothered to follow up with me. What makes this worse is that Jason Spaller, Vice President of Browning Moving & Storage, personally assured me that he would walk me through the claims process and help resolve everything. That promise was completely empty--he has not followed up, and my calls and messages have gone unanswered. The UniGroup Companies, who are handling my claim, have also failed to return any of my calls, and my claim remains unresolved to this day. The total lack of accountability, follow-through, and basic customer service from both Browning Moving & Storage and The UniGroup Companies has been absolutely appalling. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. You deserve better. FYI - Thank you to the acknowledgment of the "business manager", but no one has contacted me at all. We hired Browning moving and storage about a month ago for a long distance move. Plans got changed on my end, and they were so accommodating with the change of plans. Marissa was the person to change the plans, and she was so helpful in such a stressful time. First of all, I never had to call them back either she answered the phone, or if I messaged her, she responded immediately. She really knows the ins and outs of her job. Also, the same goes for Michelle. I called her and she said no problem we will take care of you. Between the two of them, I am back on schedule, and they booked me within the week. they lost my grandmothers little side table. the movers told me to call the office if anything is missing. the office said they wouldnt give me any compensation for the lost table since I had already signed the paper work this was in 2015. I am still upset about the loss. (2024). I am moving cross county this coming summer, definitely not going to use them! read more

This time around I was disappointed in Browning Moving. I used them 2 years ago and the staff that helped with my belongings was awesome. This time I had 2 guys (inexperienced - I'm not sure) that helped. One guy spent 1/2 the time in the bathroom, and the other was busy smoking a cigarette or talking on his cell phone (both business and personal - neither were the time or place). I lived on the 3rd floor, so moving a dolly with fragile items down basically 6 flights of steps using 1 hand is not safe. While they did accomplish what they needed to in less than the 4-hour minimum, they are just lucky that nothing of value was broken. And the company, while I expressed my concerns to them, offered no type of compensation for my dissatisfaction. read more

Six weeks ago browning moved us from the villages FL to Asheville. They were so professional and caring through the whole process. Troy gave the estimate which was very reasonable, Theresa stayed in touch with me each week, Jen and her crew packed super efficiently and Tony and his crew loaded and unloaded quickly and efficiently. When my husband had a medical emergency Tony stayed in touch with me and assured me that everything with the move will be just as I wanted it. He showed genuine concern. My wife and I moved from the Brandon area (Valrico) to Lakeland. Browning Moving did a great job. Arrived on time with friendly and courteous movers, even completed the job a little sooner than we thought. We worried about an antique curved glass cabinet, we mentioned to the crew and they took extra care in padding and wrapping. They told us not to worry (easier said than done), we should have listened to them though. Used Browning Moving and Storage for our move from Tampa to Naples. We had all our belongings in storage with them for 13 months. To our unpleasant surprise when we received our possessions, many of the boxes were crushed (even one marked "fragile china") and contained many broken pieces, including porcelains, metal items, and even a treadmill which was totally destroyed. In addition, some of the boxes had roaches, which necessitated $500 worth of exterminator services in our brand new home. To make matters worse, it took months and many phone calls and emails for our claim to be settled. Do yourself a favor, use another company. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. read more

DON'T USE BROWNING MOVING AND LOGISTICS OUT OF LAKELAND FLORIDA. I had a box clearly marked "cleaning supplies" on two sides. Went out to buy lunch for the movers and when I returned packing was done. I didn't even think twice about the box. When my furniture arrived, my server was wrecked. They must have placed the cleaning supplies on top of the server and from the looks of the server, without covering it, and it's wrecked beyond repair. Company will not accept responsibility and will only say it's my fault for packing the cleaning supplies in the first place. How about accepting responsibility Mr. Browing? read more

I am a lab manager for an academic research group and we used Browning Moving for a 2,000+ mile multi state move. This was a very complicated move requiring 6 semi trucks for lab equipment and supplies being delivered to 4 locations each on a different date. I was assigned April Snow as my moving coordinator. She was an absolute gem! She also simultaneously scheduled the pack and move of my own home. She was available to me 7 days a week if necessary for support and to answer the many questions that arise during such a large endeavor. Her knowledge, patience and kindness were invaluable to me during this transition. Wish I had read the reviews before using them but they were contracted by United and so I thought they would be ok. WRONG. First, the packers showed up almost 2 hours late and took all day to pack my one bedroom apt. One of them was 74 years old! The other, younger one was lazy and surly. Took lots of smoke breaks and spent lots of time on the phone. I was given a 4-10 day delivery window but my stuff didn't leave Florida for over a week! It is now enroute...somewhere...but the Lakeland office has been unable to give me an ETA. My 4-10 day window has now stretched into 2 weeks and I still don't have my stuff. Beware of doing business with these people. I have had great experiences with United in the past but they should not be subcontracting to these people!!!! read more

Avoid! When my mother passed away in Tampa in we hired Carla Saavedra, a senior move manager to empty her apartment and send some items to the four children and to give the rest to charity. Carla hired Browning. When some family heirloom items disappeared in the process they both denied responsibility so we are left without recourse. Browning also improperly packed some valuable plates to ship to NJ and six of the ten arrived in small pieces. read more
