Had a problem with x bolt not rearming after first round. Adjustable trigger was also bad. Customer service sent me postage paid ups sticker. Six weeks later it's home with everything working perfectly. Had planned to replace trigger with Timmy but see no reason to. Thank you Browning read more

Sent my Browning Citori - "Cabela's 50thAnniversary" edition; to have it refinished and a ding in the rib straightened out. Had two lengthy conversations prior to sending it in because I had been forewarned on how they operated. I was reassured in both conversations. They received the gun and sat on it for over a month. They provided a quote that exceeded the value of the gun which included numerous items I did not ask for - and that I had clarified I did not want done before sending it in. I was put on a long hold by Derrick who spoke to supervisor Mike (initially refusing to provide their names), who then came back and refused to do any of the items I had asked for unless I paid the high tax! Ironically they were predicating the tax on the idea that the gun might require repairs somewhere off in the future..isn't that the case with anything? Based on principle I have them returning the gun as is and I am $150 in shipping and their "fee for the quote". Funny, while on hold the infomercial described the Citori as the "Workhorse" of the Browning line - and further that it is typically said it "wears in..not out". Incredibly bad customer service. I was warned not to buy a Browning shotgun by the guys at my gun club. Bought a Citori CX anyhow, and it is a nice shooting gun. However, when the bluing began to fail after one short year of light use, I sent it in for repair. The response: It was my fault, I was told, either my "body chemistry" (this is a true story) reacted badly with their bluing or I had spilled corrosive chemicals on the bluing. None of my other steel guns seem to dislike my chemistry and I certainly don't spill corrosive chemicals on my firearms, which i treat better than my children! So I spent $100 or more on postage and insurance and got back a defective gun. I've heard others tell me they waited seven months for their guns to be returned from Browning. I regret buying the Citori and wished I would have listened to my colleagues. read more

The only reason I gave one star is because there is no negative stars! As a firearms dealer, I have sold hundreds of Browning products. But this last episode really takes the cake! Long story short-- I sold a customer a Winchester rifle, 300 wsm ,discovered the trigger / safety was bad. Sent the rifle back for repair. Two months later I called the customer service phone number, probably eight time before someone picked up the phone. I inquired about the rifle, with service number and serial number, and was told the rifle was in the process being repaired. Nothing for another two weeks. Many phone calls to the customer service with no answer I finally got thru and was again told that the rifle was in the process. Two months later, still no rifle. This, Browning, has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced in thirty years of dealing in sales of firearms!!! PS---two months later and still no rifle. read more

Incredibly negative customer service experience. Defective stock for SA22 was returned and was charged 147$ to replace it. When I asked that they send back the original "broken" stock, I was told they would, but they sent me someone else's stock. Not a big deal, but when I tried to reach someone to rectify the situation, multiple phone calls, emails and a snail mail letter were not returned/responded to. Its a real shame, as they have very nice products, but what good are they if they don't stand behind them? read more

Wow, the worst possible customer experience imaginable. After paying $3,000 for a firearm, it's been there since July for a stock repair,(today is Oct 29) and I've called every week to try to get an estimate for the repairs, and then finally when I called they said it was done. Amazing. But it had been done for a week, and they didn't call me. The reason they didn't ship it was because I changed credit card information, and hence the card didn't work, fair. They were just waiting for me to call them to ask where the gun was. I gave them new info, they wrote it down wrong, and after waiting another week, I called to get the tracking number and they told me the card number wasn't right. I gave it to them again. If you like dealing with companies full of robots who don't give a crap, these are your guys. I'll never purchase another Browning firearm as long as I live. read more

I bought a new Winchester SX3 a couple years ago. There was a problem with the trigger assembly right out of the box. I took it up to Browning and they had it fixed in a couple weeks. Still one of my favorite shooting guns! read more

I find it to be a great problem, when you pay top dollar for a firearm (Browning). An they stop supporting you as a customer on parts. I have a challanger 3, 22 pistol it's 23 years old (bought new) and they no longer carry amo clips for the hand gun. This tells me they only care about selling a gun and a dollar. Customer service is out the window an I can not see myself looking at purchasing another browning fire arm because of this. If you build something support it!!! read more

Last year I purchased a Browning Citori 725 Field. Two weeks ago I noticed while cleaning the gun a crack had developed on the stock near the action. I called the Arnold Service Center for Browning and explained the problem. The individual I spoke with instructed me to bring or send the gun to them. Since I live only about 30 miles away I did not ship the gun but personally delivered it. The person I spoke to at Browning looked at the gun and stated there would not be a problem to repair. I left the gun and to my surprise I was called 8 days later telling me the gun was repaired and ready to be picked up. I have to say the people I dealt with could not have been any more understanding and helpful. Also it goes without saying the service was outstanding!!!! read more

just want to say, when you pay for something like i read in the reviews, pay by credit card then you have dispute rights and then browning has a certain amount of time to settle, then credit card gives them a nice chargeback. this may get them working a little faster read more

Bought a new Browning Cynergy waterfowl 12 ga, great feeling gun, great shooting gun, couple of things that doesn't feel thought out but not a deal breaker. No way to put a sling on the gun, as a waterfowler that is a must, safety doesn't reset when opening it, good for sporting guns but not so much for hunting guns, see Beretta they have that figured out. But the real deal breaker was after one day in the marsh, tons of RUST all over the trigger guard and the area around the safety. Even their logo which looks like gold paint has rust in it. I have several shot guns from remington, beretta, benelli and others and this is the only one with rust, especially after one day. Ridiculous for a 1500 dollar WATERfowling gun. Never a browning again, and I have three other guns by them but this is the last firearm from them in my lifetime. And all their customer service said was "you need to get that off" and it just needs oil. What a joke. read more

have sent 2 abolts to the Arnold browning repair center.The first one my gunsmith broke the trigger while installing a brake (338 rum). These guys fixed it perfect and did not charge me at all,got it back in about a month.The second one I sent it them to adjust the trigger(because the first one was perfect) was a 7mm mag abolt 1.three lbs ,no creep,perfect.They put a new trigger in it and put an abolt 2 bolt guide and trigger guard on it.They did not charge me for this either,took about 2 or 3 weeks.These one star reviews are very,very hard for me to believe,nothing but perfect!John Moses Browning would be proud! read more
