Dr. Barry Buffman is the most honorable and Integredous doctor I've ever been in constant dealings with with he as a professional medical practitioner. He actually saved my life and freed me from the "State of California incorporated operating as the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, United States of America incorporated in direct assistance conjoined efforts with the American Bar Association" thus RICO. When he read my legal dealings regarding the irrefutable evidence and recognized how I a man on california ground was a victim of RICO and HUMAN TRAFFICKING. By the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation who were my captors,  by writing me a doctor's note removed me from their captivity. I love you Sir and will always be in your debt. Besides the above,  he's also going above and beyond when every diagnosis  is spot on. Researching even using natural remedies at times. Before any government agency chooses to raid my home for the purposes to induce more human trafficking,  please consider contacting me like men and I would love to talk and provide irrefutable evidence so you may remain in honor instead of your past treasonous acts and being at my home with estimated 13 cars, can't remember the exact ratio yet 5 DA police cars, 4 FBI cars, and 4 parole. I never even new there was DA police officer existed until then. Yes, and by posting this you certainly know who I am you cowards. Are you going to come over and talk or shoot me now. john-leonard. Dr. Buffman you are the best.

Despite arriving promptly at 3:20 PM and signing in, I was not called in to see the doctor. At 4:30pm I asked the receptionist if I was going to be called and she said that she didn't see me come in the office even though my name was on the sign-in sheet, therefore; the doctor could not see me for my in-person scheduled appointment because he doesn't see patients after 5:00pm. I was upset as I needed to go over my labwork since I hadn't been feeling good. In the past, I also had issues with billing. When I scheduled my initial physical exam at the First Family Medical Group on Avenue S in East Palmale, CA, I begged them to bill it as preventive care as my insurance covers it 100%. They didn't, and I ended up with a big bill. When calling the billing department, the lady, Yvonne, was rude and hung up on me. For that physical exam, I waited 2 hours to be seen by the nurse practitioner. In other words, this First Family Medical Group Clinic is a real joke and I am not going back there again.

She even showed great sympathy for a situation I was having great difficulty dealing with myself. I'm not too sure how there are reviews about how they've never met with the doctor or that she showed no regards to them because I have never experienced this myself and have dealt first hand with great professionalism by Dr. De Silva. Her staff is very friendly as well and is always very helpful and accommodating. The wait time can be a bit crazy but never has it been two hours. My more recent appointments have been in the 8-9 am hours and I've noticed that you get seen faster during this time. I recently started with their Skin Care Club and my first experience was amazing. The explanations of your skin troubles, which by the way my skin is pretty damn good :), was helpful in remedying them. The Esthetician listened to your concerns and made note of what she was seeing and what plan would work best. The facial received was relaxing and the environment put you in a zen state. Made me wonder why I don't pamper myself more often. I'm honestly an extremely happy patient/customer of Dr. De Silva and her medical group and just learned her husband also does acupuncture. I'm glad there are so many choices they cover so you're not having to go from doctors office to doctors office. If you could be just a tad patient I can guarantee you'll be happy with the staff, Dr. De Silva, the facilities and amenities that a little wait time 'ain't never hurt nobody'.

Beginning with the first visit, that I waited 3 months for, I was not on their schedule!! Thankfully, one of the staff members remembered scheduling me, however, I waited 2 hours while they "worked me in". They have dropped the ball on prescriptions & lab orders EVERY SINGLE VISIT!! The most recent error was sending the wrong rx to the pharmacy, which cost me $100. Unacceptable the way they rush, assume & quick to give out the wrong info. Dr. DeSilva is wonderful, but once you leave the treatment room after talking with her, nothing gets done!! I've had to repeatedly ask for lab orders & rx's to be sent out. In addition, they failed to update orders in the system. How embarrassing that the Dr has to call the pharmacy to see what the last dosage was because her staff failed to update the chart. Complaints to management & Dr DeSilva were a total waste of time, nothing has improved, it just gets worse!! Moving on to where patient care matters & I'm taking my husband with me!

When you call about your prescription your information is taken and if you do not follow up, nothing happens, your PRESCRIPTION dies right there. Days later When you call back regarding your PRESCRIPTION mysteriously you are told there's no record of you ever calling. Then the games start, "well did you get the name of the person that you spoke with, the date and time of your call"? SAY WHAT??? SERIOUSLY ??? My apologies, I did not know I had to go to this extent to have a PRESCRIPTION refilled!!!! Micromanaging your operation to get my prescriptions is not something I'm used to. This seems to be a trend lately. Unless you call days sometimes weeks ahead of time to let them know your prescription needs to be refilled it simply goes unanswered. You have to micromanage; calling the doctor, calling back a day later confirming they received your phone call the previous day (often several times) and actually calling the pharmacist to confirm that they received the information from the doctor, then the allotted time required for your pharmacist to fill the prescription. All this just to get a prescription filled by HDMG it's ridiculous. All of this has to be completed BEFORE, your PRESCRIPTION runs out. Now when the system breaks down and believe me it will, as the employees are inconsistent informing the doctor about your refill. You have to go through this process all over again. It's truly sad this level of medical care has depreciated to refill one PRESCRIPTION!!!!! There is always some excuse why the HDMG PRESCRIPTION refill process did not happen. Over and over and over month after month it keeps getting worse!!!!! I've been with the same doctor for many many years and wIth the switch to HDMG is where and when all the problems started. Over the past few years the selected few great employees who truly helped patients from the support staff have left! When my doctors leave I'm leaving this place faster then Johnny left Amber. No need to continue to be dumped on by this place!!!!!

Would be promised a call back which was never received. There is no option to leave a voicemail message. Had to work harder than ever to get them to complete my disability paperwork which my livelihood (mortgage, bills, food) depended on. Was then charged money to complete this paperwork which I've never heard of in my life at any other medical office. Now, lets move on to review the doctor. Doctor prescribed me expensive medications which turns out I did not even need. After receiving a free trial of this expensive medication and telling them I could no longer afford, the staff suggested my caregiver use HER insurance to get it for me, how shady is that?? I started receiving ointments and medications via mail which I never signed up for either. For some reason even though Kumar was the doctor I would see, my disability paperwork was completed by a Dr. Martinez which I've never even met, why is this? Does Kumar even have a license to practice anymore? After suffering through all this I google to find out he has done very many shady things, so I would not be surprised if he was no longer allowed to practice and I really don't think he should be. Avoid this doctor at all costs.

As a PCP I found her rude, unprofessional, and dangerously haphazard with healthcare…read more I got a bad feeling when I came to my first appointment visibly injured--bruises, scabs, and cuts on my legs/arms/hands--and she didn't comment on it at all. It was due to a nasty fall, not serious, but I thought it odd that Dr Motlagh didn't seem to notice or show any curiosity/ concern. Not a dealbreaker, but she was one red flag after another after that. Also, as a new patient, she makes you sign a form waiving a right to legal action, forcing you through arbitration if she commits medical malpractice. She overbooks and under-serves her patients. When I asked about it, the nurse told me a wait of 30-60 minutes was STANDARD. Sure, that's happened sometimes in past clinics due to the dr giving each patient careful time and attention on their care...but she does not. My time with her felt like she was rushing me out the door. Other doctors will apologize for even a 15 minute wait--after a 45 minute long wait, Dr. Motlagh told me "If you don't like it, you can leave." I definitely felt like I was being milked for as much money as the practice could get, and not just overbooking more patients than she can handle. It's crazy that office policy is to book you to come to a follow-up appointment (with a copay charge, of course) just to go over lab results before you even get those labs done; every doctor I've ever had will email or call with the results; followup appointments are only for if something serious is found in the labs. Being kept waiting almost an hour for that ten-minute appointment is also very unprofessional. The office also made several mistakes with my healthcare, including not knowing why I was in the office, not consulting the info I provided about the medications I was taking when prescribing me something new, and rushing me to the point that I had to chase the doctor down in the hallway just to get her to answer a question about my health. I'm not surprised--she seems so rushed and behind that I don't have confidence she's taking the time to treat patients right. I've never had a doctor where I felt I had to advocate so hard just to get routine healthcare done right. While her bedside manner can be nice at first, she gets very mean-girl energy the minute you express an issue with anything she says or does. Her language and tone were shockingly dismissive. The rest of the staff is okay, though clearly overworked. I would literally rather drive to Santa Clarita or even LA to see a halfway decent doctor than go to Dr. Motlagh's ever again.

Absolutely horrible experience I was there for an…read moreoutpatient surgery which took minutes. For some unknown reason I was intubated and they were so reckless, I left with fat and split lips, as if I was punched in the mouth With one notable exception the nurses were terrible they were unable to find a vein for the IV, but kept trying 4 times, until I told them to get someone else that finally got the IV started While in recovery, I was feeling poorly and asked for some juice or something to eat, the nurse told me I would be released soon and can eat at home. I told her I'm a diabetic and have been fasting for more than 12 hours she then says I don't think we have anything but I'll go check , just before surgery I saw them roll a full cart of food and drinks past my stall, that nurse mentioned they are restocking the food for surgery patients, so I know they had plenty of things to eat and drink, after awhile the nurse came back with just a sandwich and nothing else no juice or anything to drink. It's as if they don't care about their patients Additionally upon arrival I parked and followed signs through a building and down a long hallway to get to a door, which on the other side had someone sitting there saying I can't come in this way. So even though it was difficult for me to walk, she made me go back the way I came drive my car to another entrance and enter the building that way. The management thinks that's an acceptable solution. Rather than having signs asking patients to use another entry, they kept the signs up directing patients to essentially a dead end. No regard to patients with poor mobility.
