Long version: Scenario - It's a freezing (sub 40 degree) day in North Texas and I'm out of town on a business trip with my wife, son and mother-in-law at our home in Flower Mound. Wife calls and says the heater is not kicking on. She calls an HVAC company who comes by checks the heater in the attic and says, the unit is working however there is a pipe that vents through the roof of the attic that seems clogged or bent, but they don't do those type of repairs and she would need to call a roof company. Frantically, I scour Yelp for a good review and find people glowing about Bret's service and I give him a call. It's late in the day on Friday and when I explain the scenario, he immediately sprung into action and helped us resolve the issue. I'm going to highlight multiple reasons why Bret, owner of Texas Pride Roofing and Fencing will always have my business for roof and fence needs for as long as I live in the DFW metroplex. 1. Promptness - When I called Bret although it was later in the day, he was willing to head to our home and check out the situation, getting to our home in a couple of hours due to the severity of the situation. 2. Honesty - He took photos of the situation and gave a fair assessment of the situation. In this instance he said, "I don't have all of the parts that I need now but I can get you up an running for today, and then come back next week after I'm able to get the parts when I can get to a supply shop" 3. Thorough - He was on the roof, in the attic, and investigating the situation from every angle. Shared photos of his assessment, and was descriptive about what he was doing. 4. Genuine - The first time he came to the house, he hopped on FaceTime to talk to me and make me feel at ease with him at the house with my wife and family. You can look at someone's eyes and know that they are being sincere, that is this guy 100% 5. Follow up - It took him coming to the house a few times to get the situation completed, and I had to ask him for an amount that I owed him. He wanted to make sure that I was satisfied before asking for money. A true stand up guy, good business man, and yes, the roof is fixed, the exhaust pipe repaired, and the heat is working. These are all pictures that Bret provided, the first four (4) showing the problem and the last two (2) showing the repaired duct work and exhaust/vent pipe Although this was not a typical roofing job, Bret went above and beyond to make sure our family was warm and comfortable. Thank you Bret, and Texas Pride Roofing and Fencing.

I learned a lot about the roofing business over the last few months. Mainly that there are a lot of…read moreshady companies out there. It's like they have a roofing contractor script because most of the companies I looked at told me the same questionable story about getting my roof replaced. I don't know anything about roofing but some of the things I was told couldn't have been correct. I got a total of 5 bids and 3 of those I completely did not trust. Lots of weird games going on as I was getting bids. Marc at Peak was hands down the best to deal with. I actually feel bad because he was the fourth person I got a bid from and I was very guarded and skeptical. Marc was extremely straightforward and in my opinion very honest. He made it very easy. So easy I kept wondering what the catch was going to be. There wasn't one. The range in bid prices was stunning. Even with the same brand of shingles. Peak Roofing's price came in towards the lower end of the bid range so I felt I got good service and quality at a fair price. The roof is such an expensive repair and obviously there's lots of money out there based on the trucks some of these roofing guys drive. Definitely at times an overwhelming experience. I would absolutely recommend Marc and Peak Roofing and Construction.

We had a great experience with Peak Roofing…read more Jeff originally came out to our house, met with the adjuster, and handled the entire process from start to finish. It was incredibly smooth and easy on our end, which we really appreciated. Shoutout as well to the project managers, Paul and Robert. They were both fantastic. Communication was clear and consistent, and everything moved along without any issues. The whole team was great. After the big hailstorm in our area, we had what felt like 100 roofing companies knocking on our door. I'm so glad our insurance agent referred us to Peak. These guys are the real deal.

This review has been a long time coming and I'm so happy to finally praise Epik's wonderful work…read morethey performed on our home. I found Epik on yelp while searching for a general contractor to renovate our kitchen, remove a load bearing wall separating the kitchen from the living room and to update our original brick fireplace. Epik was our second estimate that we had received out of a total of four different companies. What really separated Epik from the others was how thorough Monty, the project manager, was throughout just the introduction phase. He followed up with us daily sending updated plans based on our conversations, sent over other pictures of different materials we could choose from, etc. This was BEFORE we even signed a contract. We gave Monty our budget and he stuck with it and let us know if we were choosing options that were not originally within the estimate and provided us with the updated estimate when we chose to continue. We met Shawn and Brittney, the owners of the company shortly after demo. Brittney from that part on became a vital part of our renovation ensuring all work was up to their high expectations and always communicating with us and identifying if any mistakes were made within the crew's work and corrected any issues thoroughly. We began our renovations shortly after construction was considered an essential job during COVID in May. Of course with the expected delays from COVID and just when doing any renovation it took some time longer than expected but the results were 100% worth it with the completion being end of June. Monty ensured that after every days work the crew cleaned up and vacuumed so we were not living in a huge dust trap. As you can see I can go on and on about the amazing job Epik performed. I am attaching pictures of before, during, and after our reno. I WITHOUT A DOUBT HIGHLY RECOMMEND EPIK. Shout outs to Monty, Brittney, Karen, and the entire crew on making our vision come to life.
