Poor customer service. She rescheduled on me for my initial appt, if I were to reschedule I would be charged.. and that's exactly what she tried doing to me for my "free" touchup. VERY poorly done, uneven brows. Apparently if you need to reschedule your 6-8 week touch up, she'll charge you. After already paying for one of the most expensive microbladers in the area I had to reschedule mine, and since she is "SO" booked, was seen for my touch up a ways past the 8 week mark (the only next available open time slot). When I walked in she tried charging me $300, then knocked it down to $200 like she was doing me a favor. I was utterly confused she tried charging me at all in person. I don't wear makeup on a daily basis and skincare is very important to me so I like to just be as natural as possible. I even had sent her a million questions before meeting her & she answered them all honestly & thoroughly. Her customer service, professionalism, warmth & care for her craft is superb as well! My actual session hurt a bit more than I anticipated and she was so sweet & took her time & added more numbing agent to my brows. I told her I wanted to go softer and she reassured me we could do that & it will still heal to a more softer state. I was SOOOO impressed with the results! I had my touch up session two weeks ago, and everyone I've told about my microblading has asked for her info so they can book theirs. But when I don't tell people, they have no idea that I had it done, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Here's the thing. The process is scary. Two days after the first session, I was convinced I was going to have giant Disney-villain eyebrows forever. For the first few days, you're going to need the reddest lips and the boldest eyeliner. I have to admit, I was very nervous as first...I mean, it is semi-permanent and one of the most prominent features on your face. I have been completely blown away with how much I love my brows. She really took everything I had to say into consideration, and transformed my face for the better! My brows were so uneven, and also sparse in a lot of places. I can only speak to my experience and with that being said it was all positive! I really have no complaints! Whitney first sits you down, asks what it is that you're looking for, your end goals, etc and than she gets to work on the pre-draw. What I love about her pre draw is that she actually draws out the individual strokes so you really get to see a rough version of what your brows will look like when done. Versus the typical outline. I've noticed with a couple of these reviews she's being unfairly rated because people don't understand the healing process. They will darken and flake off. Some people experience a stage where it looks like the ink is gone but it's not. You have to give it a solid 2 weeks. She did a good job but I felt she didn't change the shape of my eyebrows too much and the pigmentation that was added made them too orangey. I found Whitney on Instagram and was really impressed with her work. After waiting too long to finally see her I had a great experience. She's super nice and personable and clearly knew what she was doing. My eyebrows were so uneven and sparse that it took an hour to get the shape down just right. They were crazy looking for almost a week but that's to be expected since I was getting thicker and darker brows. After my touch up appointment she exceeded my expectations. I was nervous at the start of the process because my brows are everything but I put my trust into Whitney and I am so happy with the results. You have to have patience through the initial healing process to see the true results. There is a reason why there's a 6-8 wk touch up so any areas that need a little extra can be filled in and color can be enhanced if need be which is where the patience is needed. Poor customer service. My bad experience was last year. I set an appointment w/ Browhemian about 4 months out, just 2 weeks later I found out there's was an event that same day so I needed to reschedule (still 3 1/2 months out) Since I prepaid for the entire service ($500, which is a little steep) her scheduling site wouldn't allow me to set my own appointment without giving her more money. So I emailed her and repeatedly asked her to call me so we could finally reschedule but SHE NEVER called me, she emailed me once when she had a last minute cancellation and I got it too late. After weeks and weeks of just waiting to get on her agenda I finally just asked for a refund and I was told by her assistant via email (she also refused to call me) that I'd be charged $100 for canceling (I didn't even have an appointment!) Long story short; after going back & forth by email I offered to collect my FULL refund in person that day, they finally gave up and refunded me (minus PayPal fee). This was 2 months from the time I paid. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I originally left a review on Sola Salons page last year and since then I've had a handful of women reach out to me because they also had a negative experience with Browhemian, some of her work isn't good at all, the way she's handled her customers is pretty lame. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! It's been almost 2 and a half years since I got my brows done by Whitney. My customer service experience was pretty terrible. She never responded to my emails about my concerns or my request for a refund. I have spent close to $1200 trying to remove the Microblading done by her. My left brow she went so deep I have substantial scarring and the ink turned blue. I still have never heard from her and still never received a requested refund. So disappointing and dealing with the poor results has not been fun! read more

I just got finished with my touch up appointment following a year of Whitney's fantastic work and I still have only wonderful things to say. Not only is she extremely skilled at what she does (even for dudes like me!), she is personable and makes every visit more like a check in with a friend rather than something transactional. I'm not really sure you'll find anyone better in the greater Seattle area for microblading and would recommend her to absolutely anyone interested in having microblading done (including guys! We gotta have nice brows too!) As for the process, she is incredibly transparent as to how your brows will look afterwards and you will even get a very accurate preview drawn so there is no surprises. Honestly I am a bit confused by reviews who say they got something completely different from what they expected since she does all this beforehand to make sure you're in agreement. Whitney was so patient and helpful; I told her how much my eyebrows meant to me as I suddenly lost them due to alopecia. She took the time to listen to me and professionally drew a stencil of the shape to make sure I liked them. She was really sweet, and caring. She told me that cover-ups were difficult as she was trying to redress someone else's work and she made me confirm that she couldn't guarantee the results, which I completely understood. I found Whitney through Instagram and after following her for a couple months decided to book without doing much digging. I'll admit, when I saw some of the negative reviews online I almost SHIT! Really, some of them are pretty brutal. But after deciding to go through with it I can confidently say that I had SUCH and AMAZING experience with her. Whitney is outgoing, professional, and a great conversationalist which really calmed my nerves. She did a really great job of listening to what I wanted and was really adamant about keeping the integrity of my original brow shape and not pushing me to go for anything I might regret later. She was also very upfront about what to expect in terms of after care and potential pigment fall out, especially since I have oily skin. Literally the only con of the appointment was that the numbing cream didn't work very well for me personally so I kind of had to power through it, but Whitney checked in on me consistently and was very communicative about how much longer she would be taking on each eyebrow. She also stopped several times during my appointment to have me stand up and check her work. I'm a little over a week out and while I have had some pigment not stick (a touch up appointment is included in the price and I recommend booking it in shop with her to avoid missing the booking window) I'm still extremely happy with my results. With carefully following her aftercare instructions my brows look almost completely healed and it's such a relief to have one less thing to worry about getting ready in the morning. Obviously everyone is going to have a different experience, but please don't let some of her other reviews deter you from booking with this brow wizard! read more

I'm so confused by these negative reviews! I just had my touch up 10 weeks after my initial session. I moved to Seattle last year and needed to find a new Microblading artist. I'm so happy I found Whitney! My brows look amazing. I will say that they faded more than expected in certain places after my first session but I told Whitney what I wanted touched up at the appt today and she fixed them up nice and fluffy and now they look flawless! Her online Instagram presence looks good and convinced me to try it. I am conservative in appearance and like a natural look. On my first visit she could sense my hesitation. She did an ok job but bladed me way up high where I have no natural brow. It turned to a grey blob on my face within the first month that I must go over with makeup. I thought at my touch up she could address that. Instead she made them even bigger and much worse!! They now go up and out spreading above my nose and out to my temple. I'm so horrified that I've cancelled all future Christmas and New Years plans and even my daughters b- day party. I can't leave the house because I'm so ashamed and depressed. The only way to attempt to fix this mess is long, painful and expensive. I cannot believe I ended up so botched, even when I expressed my desire for a natural and light look. Everyone I call says they have had to correct much of her work, and it is even more difficult because she gauges her ink way down deep in your skin so it is harder to remove. I urge you to go elsewhere, ask other competitors what you can expect from her style of brow. They will do better at explaining the risk of going to her and the limited options of removal should you become another botched face. I made my appointment with Whitney early last fall after researching for a few years for the best artist for myself! I paid the $100 deposit and made my appointment and things came up with kids, work schedule & life but Whitney was more than happy to reschedule my appointment not once but twice due to my personal conflicts. I didn't cancel last minute since her time is just as valuable as mine. I finally rescheduled to last week but with the snow we got, Whitney texted making sure we would both be safe and reschedule to today! She was accommodating to my schedule and I appreciated that; I know how busy she is. Obviously going into my appointment I was SUPER nervous since I'm not normally one to do "this sort of thing" or anything remotely close but she was awesome! She explained everything in detail and made sure I knew the process and what to expect! While my brows are a bit of a shock since I had not much to start with, I'm certain I will end up LOVING them! One tip I would give from a customer service standpoint is maybe a cute little card with aftercare instructions on it to take home. Whitney is amazing. She is thoughtful, transparent and accommodating. She listens to what you want, shares her advice and guidance on the approach, makes sure it aligns to your expectations, and it up front with challenges or what she cannot do. I went in for microblading after following her and watching her work for over a year. It is important to make sure you like the product of the person you go to and see examples of their work. I actually had my initial microblading by her sister (and student) who she carefully coached and assisted during the initial appointment. I went to her for my touch ups and have been delighted with the outcome! I initially had eyebrows that did not match in shape, did not have an appealing shape and were too light on my face.
