She was so booked months out that it was almost impossible to find an appointment that worked with my schedule. I tried about 5 other lash artist in Bellevue until I found Hien. I'm so happy that Hien has a cute little studio a few blocks from my apartment. She is seriously amazing and a perfectionist at lashes. I book 45min fills every 2 weeks since my hair/lashes grow so fast and sometimes she even extends my session longer at no extra charge to make sure they're perfect. I receive compliments almost daily on my lashes and even when they fall out, they fall out so evenly. My volume sets just looks like classics in 2 weeks. I've been going to Hien for about a year and now a bunch of my girlfriends are now clients of hers. She's also super easy to book appointments with using the Vagaro app. I can always find an appt. sometimes same day to within a couple days if it's a lash emergency.

They looked great this time and they were exactly what I had asked for, I left for my trip the next day, and the day after almost all of the lashes on one eye completely fell off. I hadn't used any oil on them, too hot of water or anything. I had to pay to get them fixed by someone else in the state I was in and she told me it looked like the glue wasn't applied properly as there was no glue residue left behind. I texted Kelly telling her what had happened when I got back and she told me to come in for a fix, i asked her when I could come in and she never responded. I just needed a little fill as I had just gotten them redone by the other woman. I texted Kelly again two weeks later asking if she saw my last message and saying that I would still like to come in and when she had openings. By then I needed a regular fill. She said my "lash fix grace period has passed, its now a full set". It was rude as usual but I loved the way they looked before they fell out so I went back in and told her I wanted them exactly the same as last time, the same thinness of the actual lashes. She charged me extra for the style, which wasn't volume, just having some lashes longer and some shorter. The lashes were so different from the time before, they were thick and painful. I told her they were not the same as before, I found a lash from before and compared it to one that I had then and the new was so much thicker. She sent back a rude message telling me I was wrong and she knows what she's doing. I never went back to her again and I would highly suggest no one else does. Her appointments always run late before as she schedules them close together so you'll sit there waiting for her. The space she's in isn't very nice either. She's unfriendly and takes pictures of you without asking which I found incredibly rude. She has used a picture of me on here which I did not give her permission to use OR TAKE. Incredibly inappropriate. She sticks the tape with the lashes on it onto your forehead because it's convenient for her, rather than sticking it to the back of her hand. The prices on the wall and on Groupon don't matter she tells you what you're paying and changes it whenever for any number of reasons.

Kelly was quick with the install of my lashes, finishing in about an hour, and they looked great. Unfortunately they starting falling out by the next day with a third of the lashes on my left eye falling out, and half on my right eye. I've had lashes installed several times and know how to properly care for them; I've never had them fall out like this before. Furthermore, the cost was the most I've paid for lashes at $130. What a disappointment! Save your money and GO ELSEWHERE!

When I showed up to the appointment the door was locked and the building seemed empty. I called and texted Christine many times. No responses. No signage of the business, other buildings in the same plaza have signages. Later that night she called and apologized stating that she was sick. I asked for refund because of the red flags and especially a customer complained on BBB of the scar and infection. I posted the bad review on Yelp which prompted Christine to finally refund me $100 deposit but then lied on Yelp and reported my Yelp review stating that I was not her customer to have my Yelp review removed. Consumers deserve to know the truth.

I have extremely fine lashes and find that many artists are a little too rough w/ them/me, especially when removing outgrown lashes. I've also found that some lash artists are more conscious about your lash health. Other things I care about: speed, thoroughness, ability to take and incorporate feedback, and general good vibes. I've seen Emily, Ruby, and Niqi and they're all wonderful! I saw Emily for ~a year before her schedule changed (I miss you, Emily!) and have since been going to Niqi! Niqi is (1) a wonderful conversationalist, (2) non-judgmental when I doze off during my appointment (which is often...), and (3) very fast. I really appreciate how accommodating she is, too, especially because I'm writing this at 39 weeks pregnant lol. I'm seeing her tomorrow and already know I'm going to look gorgeous while I deliver this babyyy! haha
