I wanted a super BBL and my hip dips filled in. I got there only to speak to Dr. Dean for two minutes. They took my deposit quickly, three weeks later I got the surgery. When he was drawing on me, I was stressing to him how important my body was to me, that I'm an exotic dancer and model and that I needed a snatched waste and a fuller butt. He did it under local anesthesia, which I believe is the one where you're awake. And let me tell you... I felt everything!!! My eyes were open watching in horror. There was so much fluid in my stomach that he would take breaks every 20 minutes and they would walk me to the bathroom so I could pee and fluids were getting all over the floor (very unsanitary) no one was cleaning it up and it was all over the place and I was so out of it, but I did realize the room was dirty and cold and scary. I woke up to no nurses around me to comfort me when the local anesthesia was wearing offand they charged my card $800 to wear a compressor that I wasn't even aware about to begin with, the nurses put me in an XX small, I couldn't breath for days and we ended having to cut it off my body and it hurt because my skin and the fluids where dried onto it, it felt like I was pealing my own skin off. I didn't see the doctor afterwards and they were rushing my boyfriend at the time to come get me. He was five minutes late and they rolled me outside on a wheelchair to wait for him while the nurses went back inside. They told me to come back in two weeks later (only because I took the initiative to ask, when do I come back in for a follow up? ) to see him and I had scar tissue and fat pockets everywhere. I expressed how terribly I felt and how insecure I felt about my body..He said he couldn't fix it . I think he gave me one lymphatic massage for FREE that did nothing. When I went to see him for my follow up, there was about 30 women in the waiting room and he was really stressed out and he had his hand on the door knob when you were trying to talk to him about anything. I was so sick and tired of my results that the company reached out to me and said that they would do another BBL for $3000 and that Dr. Dean got better over the years and would fix this mess and I would go under general anesthesia this time and be asleep. I woke up in a room with 20+ other women all waking up the same time as me screaming in pain than I heard a Nurse telling them all to shut up. And other women frustrated that they found out they had to pay an additional 800 for a garment that they didn't even know about. I got home. I was in so much pain and I went to look at my results and nothing changed. I don't know what he did to me in there, but I had bruising everywhere and no fat on my butt or my hip dips like he promised me. Like WHAT?! Your word as a surgeon is your bond. We are putting our life & bodies in your hands. Ladies!!! Save your money, go to a doctor that does revision surgery because they're the best. Not because you need revision, but they know not what to do to ruin your body. I'm going to show you a picture of the front of me wear he left scar tissue from being so aggressive and I've lost weight since I saw him so it looks 10% better. Most doctors I see say it will cost 15-20k to fix. I used to be able to wear bikinis but now I can't without people pointing out the gapping holes in the front of my stomach and the fat pockets he didn't lipo out in my sides of my back. They only care about how many bodies they can get on the table in a day. They don't treat you like family or friends. Trusting this busines to be reputable I removed the dispute. Within a few days a new charge of $2000.00 appeared on my credit card. After repeated calls and emails to the accounting office I received a replay that the $2000.00 refund had been issued on January 12, 2024. Since that time I have reached out to the owner Dr. Johnson and his staff on numerous occassions with ZERO response. I plan on taking this business to small claims court and seek my refund. He was never present at any follow up visits. She developed multiple wounds on her breasts and was "treated" for 6 weeks and then dumped. During this 6 weeks she never saw Dr. Carvalho. She is now in the hospital and had to have a surgery and a foreign body other than the implants was found in her breasts. Allegedly Dr. Carvalho took too much skin when he completed her breast lift and her incision lines popped open. She still had multiple sutures left in her breasts. We called the office over and over, left messages and no call back. Please if you care for your body and life do not go here!

I personally prefer this quick in and out method as I have no time to spend chit chatting with my doctor about the weather. He was personable and friendly and had good bedside manner. And when I say complete, it is impossible to describe the amount of time he spends and his thoroughness. He is a hands on doctor ordering ALL the necessary and appropriate tests. It is, I am sure, far better than the treatment by others, like the Mayo Clinic, for example. When you go there, make sure you set aside additional time because he is not in a rush to get you out. It is not an assembly line like with so many other doctors.
