They were super friendly, and made the process fast and easy. They gave us all necessary instructions on how to use the electric cart. For the price it's really worth doing to cruise around town for a few hours. You are able to drive on the street just like a car while following normal street laws. This also encouraged myself to buy one a cart once I do make the move down. Once we returned the cart and waited for an Uber outside. One of the employees came out and brought us some free waters since it was hot out. It's the small things we appreciate. When we come back down and want to rent a boat we will be using them for sure! Both are located near public parking garages, but you might be able to find 1 hour of street parking for $4-something or 2 hours of street parking for $9.45 (what we paid). If using one of the public parking garages, I think the rates are $10/hr or $50/day. We decided to go with Sun & Fun Cycles since both places seemed to be a toss up in terms of reviews. Also, The Bike Shack is closer to Hollywood Blvd, so our assumption was street parking would be more difficult to secure. We called before committing to a parking spot in order to confirm their location and the availability of the bike we wanted, and all of our questions were answered in a friendly and professional tone over the phone. The bike we chose for our party of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 10 and under) was the 4-wheel Surrey. We decided to rent it for (1) hour, which was $35. You can either pay with cash or Zelle (no fees) or do a credit card transaction with a fee. While renting the bike, you leave your ID at the bike shop. We ended up biking for about 45 minutes, riding north to Thomas St, then south to Georgia St, and finally north again to get back to Sun & Fun Cycles. During the ride, we tried having (2) adults and (1) kid on the bench and (1) kid on the bench-basket, and (2) adults on the bench with (2) kids on basket-bench. Each of these seating arrangements worked fine. However, both of the adults had very sore bottoms at the end from the uncomfortable bench seat. Other than that, this was a memorable and fun activity for all.

This location offers a bicycle repair shop at the rear. Nicely organized shop but definitely the premium level of bicycles were out of my realm as a self proclaimed novice cyclist.
