I asked for my eyebrows to kept thick and only wanted a clean up. Not only were half my eyebrows were threaded off they are now uneven. I will now have to wait a minimum of 3 months for them to grow back. I am at lost for words. Asking for a clean up and to keep them thick does not mean make them thin! Will not be coming back. Love love love! They shape and make your face so much cleaner by just threading your eyebrows and that's something to be said. I have always gotten my eyebrows threaded because wax pulls out my baby hairs and creates bumps above my brows which is a big no no for me so threading is my go to. My girlfriend walked in for the first time here to get her eye brows done while two women were working. One acknowledged and said hi as she walked in, my girlfriend proceeded to sit down and wait. She was behind three people. A group of three women came in and signed in. My girlfriend now ended up being behind six people instead of three because the women who greeted her did not tell her to sign in. She had already been waiting between five to ten minutes in the lobby. Either this place needs a front desk person or the employees need to assume that not everyone knows there is a mandatory check in. We left due to poor customer service, a horrible wait time and won't be back ever again. Hire more people and get better customer service. read more

Was really disappointed by the eyebrow threading I had today. My eyebrows are usually full and semi similar but now they look like two total different eyebrows. One was just cleaned up (which is what I wanted) and the other was butchered and is so much thinner. This was my third time going there and I didn't go to the same girls as before because the owner stated that they're all trained and capable. I don't know if I'll be able to go back after this. I am very picky with my brows but I am very happy with Gina's work. I went to a different place in Oceanside where the lady completely ruined my shape and thinned my brows AFTER I tried telling her that I like my eyebrows thick. This made my very nervous to try another place but with all the wonderful before and after photos I wanted to try this place. I was ecstatic with Gina's work. It doesn't hurt at all, it doesn't take long (~10 minutes), they do a great job, and the price is excellent (I think it was $10)! What's not to like? Make sure to get their punch card. I don't have a lot to add to what others have already said - but I am very glad that I discovered this salon on Yelp. My eyebrows have never looked better! Bella was wonderful. She took her time with me and took great care to make sure I was comfortable and happy with her work. She was very gentle and I didn't have any redness at all afterward. The extra products she used at the end enhanced her artistry. Prices were extremely reasonable even without the deals, coupons and the card that allows you to get the 6th waxing free, all of which are icing on the cake. I went to the Brow Experts today after purchasing a Groupon to try out their eyebrow threading services. I recently moved to Carlsbad from central San Diego and was interested in finding a new go-to spot locally for threading. They took their time to make sure everything came out perfectly and I didn't feel rushed at all. The salon itself is really cute and has a nice atmosphere. My only recommendation to them is to have some relaxing music playing in the background. They had a sad movie playing during my appointment, which seemed a little odd to me. I hate that I have to write a negative review. I seriously ride or die for this place but.... I have been BOTCHED. My eyebrows are by no means natural crazy, they're full and shaped on their own so all they have to do is get a few hairs on the ends and in the middle... so tell me how one brow is completely straight and like a tadpole and the other looks like absolutely nothing was done to it. My lips? LOL I had to go home and pluck them myself. This woman was careless and just wanted me in and out as fast as she could. Unfortunately, I could not catch her name however if management happens to see this, the woman has very light color eyebrows and was wearing a yellow shirt on 6/19/19. SHE SHOULD NOT BE DOING EYEBROWS All the girls with dark hair and brows are amazing at what they do but BE WARNED... of course I have important events coming up and I look absolutely tragic. read more

It is hard to find a threading place that does not charge an arm and a leg... Brow Experts is affordable and I get coupons in the mail every so often so that I can do a full face for $25. I have seen places that charge $15 for eyebrows alone! Threading can be painful, but Gina is amazing. My eyebrows can be finicky, but she makes them look even and clean with the least amount of pain every time. I have been coming here for the last 3 years, and I don't trust anyone else with my face :) I always leave feeling happy with the finished product, and she is so sweet/a pleasure to talk to. I found Brow Experts through Yelp and I'm so glad I did! The staff is very friendly and they run a really peaceful salon. After having my eyebrows messed up by previous threading salons that rushed their services, I was really nervous. But Brow Experts quickly calmed me by being so understanding and experienced. I don't remember her name, but she took her time and was very thorough with her service. Immediately into the service, I was shown how too much hair was missing from one of my eyebrows that a previous salon did. She continued to keep me involved throughout the whole process and I loved that! I also was able to buy some eyebrow products which helped correct that one eyebrow and it also enhanced them both! Amazing. This place is the perfect place to get your eyebrows threaded! I just stopped in on my lunch to have my eyebrows done and I was in and out in about 10 minutes with some amazing eyebrows. Gina was kind enough to listen to what I wanted and delivered exactly what I needed, plus she gave me tips on how to style mine and how to shape them while she was working on them. Loved this place! They weren't too talkative, but still really nice. They did go a little thinner then I expected, but they got they best shape I have ever seen from my eyebrows. Don't be on a time crunch when you go, you will be waiting at least 10 min...if not more. Overall I really liked it and will be going there from now on. Honestly 10 stars! I used to get my brows waxed but was having a hard time finding someone in the area who nailed the shape, so I thought I'd give threading a try. I've had my brows done here twice and they've absolutely NAILED the shape every time!! I'm so happy with how my brows look, and it's such a confidence booster.
