I came in yesterday to get a lash lift and love it! I don't usually wear makeup on my eyes I usually just use a lash curler and run out the door and the next time I look in the mirror my lashes have always deflated, such a disappointment. I'm so happy I decided to go to Lindy to get my brows microbladed! After the first appointment I would have been weirded out because they seemed very dark and started to scab over quickly, but Lindy did an excellent job preparing me for what to expect - so I knew not to be scared, and that wouldn't represent the final look. After my touch-up appointment that followed, I was ecstatic with how they came out, and I've continued to be in the weeks since. I'm a control freak and even though I knew I could trust Lindy, it was hard for me at first to let her change the shape of my brows from what I'd been used to via filling them in. (She was flexible and did make some changes to the planned shape before she started, based on my preferences, but it still was very different from what I've always done.) I was also concerned when she used a slight touch of red in the color since I have always chosen ashy tones. After just a few days, though, and lots of compliments from people on the improved look of my brows, I'm SO happy I trusted her judgment. I had been researching and considering getting my brows done for over a year! I am SO glad I finally took the leap and went to see Lindy :) I absolutely love my brows....!!! To be able to go to the gym, swim, and cut down my morning makeup routine by like 1/3rd of the time... it's priceless. Everyone compliments my brows all the time, they are perfectly even, and it's so easy to keep them tweezed and fresh always because the shape and outline is all there! Lindy was amazing to work with, she is such a down to earth person, and she is so patient while she works with you to determine your preference on brow shape, length, and thickness. Lindy explains her process step by step so you always know what's going on. And while you are there, you pretty much make friends with Lindy cause she is such a friendly and funny person! The process is pretty straight forward, from the first consultation, to the first initial micro blade session, to the touch up. Lindy has a really comfy bed, clean room, and it's decorated with just the right "Brow Bitch personality" The first session my brows looked lovely! The pigment faded a bit, and I was pretty dang itchy and pink during the healing process. But after my second touch up, my brows looked much much more ah-mazing! I was getting compliments left and right, my co workers were pausing to stop me and tell me how great my "makeup" was looking!! The second time healed much more quickly and I only itched for the first week or so. The pigment also lasted much much better! After the sessions Lindy always checks in to see how I'm doing, and how my brows are healing. She is quick to answer any questions or reassure me if the way my brows are healing is normal. Using Biotin on a daily basis plus Latisse two times a week, I finay felt like my lashes were in a place to be lifted. I scheduled a lift with Lindy on Saturday. What a terrific experience with fantastic results! A few thoughts: First, Lindy took the time to explain the entire procedure and made sure I was informed each step of the way. This is especially important when one is considering putting something semi-permanent on your face. Second, I went in with a preconceived idea of what I thought would be the best shape brow for my face. Lindy was patient and listened as I shared my thoughts. Lindy made some recommendations of what she felt would give my eyes a more lifted and youthful appearance and she also explained the "why" behind her recommendations. To make sure I felt good with the shape, Lindy drew one brow per my initial request and then drew the other the way she thought would look better. Let me just say, not only did the "Lindy" brow look so much better but there was absolutely no comparison. This is where her year's of experience pay off. As Lindy drew the final brow shape she took the time to really fine tune all of the measurements to make certain the brows would ultimately look amazing and perfect. I'm now two and a half weeks out from my initial microblading appointment. I'm not completely done with the flakey stage yet (which I knew to expect based on Lindy's thorough explanation) but I absolutely LOVE my brows and can't wait to get the final touch-up. Service - for context, I am a vegan so I am limited in hair removal options & for the past 5-months or so I have been attempting to rock the boy-brow to match my (mostly) laid back approach to make-up.
