I've been going to Dawnielle for almost a year. She really is a brow ninja! I overplucked my brows for years, but she showed me the way of the beautiful brow through education and reasoning. I appreciate that she takes the time to educate me when she does my brows so I understand the process and reasoning. She is a true professional, so trust her and her knowledge! I have always had bad experiences every time I have gone to get my brows done except for one other time, and my next visit was botched. What the hell is a girl to do!? Get on yelp, and hope for the best! I did just that, and even though this lady was a bit of a drive for me, it was more than worth the drive. She did an amazing job and got every single stray baby hair that I had on my brows, and shaped them beautifully. I have been faithfully growing out my brows since the last time I saw her, and will only allow her to shape them from now on. I highly recommend this very talented beauty, rest assured that these reviews are genuine. I hate to say anything negative, but the receptionist up front needs to stop with the Beverly Hills snare and glare attitude. Dawnelle is a PRO! My first appointment with her was for a brow/lip wax. I have sensitive skin, so I'm always a little wary. She is good. I mean really good. She is quick, but this is no drive-by-waxing like you get at the nail place. She is precise and confident and she has a great eye. You don't spend a half hour with her picking away at missed hairs - it's clean, swift and perfect. A week later, I had the Elemental Nature Facial Treatment for $85. This was a solid hour of incredible pampering - but it was also very productive. I came out of there clean, moisturized and massaged. Blood is circulating, pores are clear, cells are plumped with moisture. Everything smells so good and natural. She uses every second of your time to get things done: While a mask is on your face, your hands are getting some moisturizing love...While the steamer is gently opening your pores, your feet are getting a skilled rub down. Dawnielle is such an amazing Esthetician!!!! She has been helping me with my skin and taking good care of my eye brows for the last few years. Dawnielle is absolutely AMAZING at what she does! She has a true talent with brows that you cant find by going to a "waxing place". I go to her for facials and for brows. I'm a fairly frugal person. I don't get my nails done, I dye my own hair and only get it cut about 3 times a year. I used to pluck my own eyebrows and was never really happy about my results. It's hard to not over pluck when your eyebrows are very sparse in some areas and full in others. I was fed up with the unevenness and needed help. Just moved here and been trying to find a new esthetician in Rocklin... And I've found her!!! Dawnielle is super nice, friendly and super talented at what she does. She did an amazing job cleaning and shaping my bows. Love them! I also got a facial with her and it was great! I usually get nervous with facials because I tend to break out when I go to a new spots because of products and their process but NO breakouts after a facial with Dawnielle! The facial was super relaxing and super good for my face! During the facial, she also massages your arms, legs and neck which is super nice! Usually some places the person leaves the room during your mask treatment and it comes back but not Dawnielle, she really is there to make sure you're comfortable. The products she used was also light and didn't feel heavy one face! I also liked that she was open minded to my skin care regimen, understood and didn't try push me into products. I will be seeing Dawnielle regularly for my brows and facial. I totally recommend her! She does book up fast so book early:) read more
