I have been growing out my brows for 3 years and came to Brow Arc to shape and trim. I explained this to the person that I wanted to keep the thicker shape and to clean up the stray hairs. She finished my right brow and gave me a mirror. I was in shock and told her this was not what I wanted. She tried to justify saying it "looked natural." No, my eyebrows now do not frame my face-they are less than 1/8 inch thick and I walked out with thinner (and uneven) than I had 3 years ago. Great. Just in time for vacation. I'm never going back there. I had some threading done a few months ago, and shortly afterwards noticed that half the eyelashes on my right eye were suddenly very short. Wearing mascara looked ridiculous. I couldn't imagine how they had got that way until I went back for more threading recently and the same Indian girl I'd had before would have trimmed my eyelashes AGAIN if I hadn't suddenly realized what was going to happen and stopped her. What a moron! I don't know what her name is (I think it started with an S) , but she's careless, expects you to just know what she needs you to do, and doesn't speak English well enough to give understandable directions - not that she even tried to warn me about collateral damage to my eyelashes anyway! Now I wish I hadn't bought a package. They should pay me back for my shortened eyelashes! They won't, of course, but I'm not going to use it and risk another disaster to my eyelashes. read more

I got my eyebrows threaded yesterday with Aarti and I will tell you what --- I refuse to have them done with anyone else moving forward. My eyebrows are challenging to thread to get that identical high arch look I desire. Hence I don't do them myself. However, it's been challenging even amongst the professionals. I'm very pleased with Brow Arc. I purchased the membership from Lynnwood's location but hadn't been in a while. When I arrived, one of the employees quoted a five minute wait time and gestured for me to write my name, service requested, and check-in time on a piece of paper. Although all three chairs were full, I only had to wait two minutes. The place is very small. It doesn't feel particularly welcoming, but I'm fine with that as long as service is good. Eyebrow threading is pretty painful if you wait too long in between services. Nonetheless, I thought they did a great job. My eyebrows looked cleaned up, but I still had to use tweezers at home to get some stray hairs that were missed. The entire service took under 10 minutes. I'm happy with the membership and will continue to go back to get my eyebrows done. Brow Arc isn't anything fancy or upscale, but it certainly gets the job done. read more

To the "brow artist" SIMRAN who was working at 3:30pm alone on 8-11-19, this is the second time she has butchered my eyebrow on purpose. The first time was two months ago, when she had scissors in hand, I told her EXPLICITLY that I did not want them trimmed because I wanted them to be as thick and natural looking as possible. She put them away and as soon as I had my eyes closed, she trimmed it anyway. I was upset and asked WHY she did that against my wishes and she indicated that it'd look funny if I left it that way. I left VERY UPSET and only came by again when I saw other people working there. TODAY, Simran was the only person working there. I have a busy week and am leaving on vacation and felt I had no other choice. She gave me a funny look as if she recognized me and then told me to sit in the chair. Then she again with scissors in hand came at me. I told her, "Please, I am trying to grow them out. I only want them threaded." I said this nicely, but assertively. Next thing I know, she goes to town threading my eyebrow and when I look in the mirror has left left me two visible bald spots. She didn't even bother cleaning off the hairs when she was done. She handed me a tissue and walked off to the register. This woman needs to be fired. I will never come back to this location so long as she is working here. read more

Had an awful experience here. The woman refused to thread my upper lip bc of COVID exposure. She said waxing takes less time so she agreed to do that instead. This makes no sense bc that is also exposure and in my opinion takes just as long. But I went with it. First of all, I had to ask her not to double dip the stick bc I saw her going for it. Second, she burned me! And not just a tiny burn but a significant burn on my lip that is now super painful. And then she didn't even acknowledge it and just said "your skin is very sensitive" and shuffled me along. I didn't notice it then because I was trying to put my mask back on quickly. It wasn't until I got into the car that I noticed. Only giving it two stars bc threading services are decent. Never going here again. Just awful. If you don't know how to wax safely, don't offer. read more

Save your time and trust the reviews. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for three years and I have NEVER broke out from it until this time. Exclusively on my forehead because she was pinching my skin and nearly going up to my hairline. She also was extremely rough with me. Rather than telling or asking me to place my hands in the right place, she kept grabbing my hand or wrist and forcing it down, forcing me to push into my eye. Also, she broke so many lighter hairs when threading. The woman who threaded my brows didn't have a name tag so I don't know who it was, but I assume it was the manager since she was there alone. read more

Impossible to find the location. Roamed around the whole location for 30 min to find the place and then was denied service because it was 30 min to closing time (was only looking for eyebrow threading which would have taken max 10min). I would have been there half an hour earlier had the location was easily accessible. Really disappointed that service was denied when a customer made the attempt to come all the way here. read more

Having done the wax thing, and now threading thing - I think I'm a convert. It takes a bit longer but dang if it doesn't look better and seem to last longer. I mean, let's be clear, it's kind of weird. How they take a piece of thread, stick and end in their mouth and go "doink doink doink" and take out your hair? No idea. But it works. And it's precise. There were no tweezers present before, during or after the threading. The ladies here are kinda pushy about their membership options, which would likely be worth it if I did not live 3.5 (or 3 if I speed) hours away. Walk in, no appointment necessary and you're good to go in about 15 minutes. read more

I had a horrible experience at this brow arc. The lady (Sahar) , wiped out a segment of my eyebrow during threading. It was major enough for any one to notice as it was the thick part of the brow. Then she went ahead and started saying she didn't do it. When she had gone for a few seconds inside then this happened. As I was the only customer their, she implied that I did it myself!! Then she proceeded to saying " what do you want..we can give the next time free". She kept saying similar stuff about money and implying I did this for money ( as if I will deliberately pull out my eyebrows to save money for getting them done in first place!! ). I still paid the full fees of the threading. Coz she kept implying I am complaining to save money. I don't recommend this place. Accidents happen..but being so rude and unprofessional as to blame me for their error and for trying to get a free appointment .. is not acceptable read more

This is a great little brow boutique and Pratima did a beautiful job with my brows. My brows are naturally not very thick or long, and I don't like to have them thinned out a lot, so they can be challenging to shape but not make too thin. This is my second time here and I'm satisfied again so I decided to get a membership. If I would change anything, and the reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5, I would suggest them using aloe cooling gel that is 100% aloe, or that doesn't have alcohol in it. The gel they use is good for sanitary reasons but stings a bit (I do have sensitive skin, though, which is also why I get my brows threaded and not waxed - waxing always makes the skin around my brows too irritated, but threading is fine). Overall though I'm very happy with this shop. read more

I have been going to this shop for 2-3 years but stopped going since pandemic hit and new restrictions were in place in Mar 2020. Last week I went back after a year. Service was as great as always and shop was clean. The lady who did my eyebrows was a lovely one called Sarda. She had a mask and also a shield which was helpful. When I arrived 3 customers were already in line and it was only 30 min to close. Yet, she did let me put my name on the waiting list but explained that she might not be able to help me as not much time left which was very fair. But she finished everyone's work on time and did a great job with my eyebrows too for which I was grateful as I could not go back the next day. Very kind! Thank you read more

I can't speak on the behalf of all the threaders, but my experiences with Hajeed (forgive me if I spelled her name incorrectly) have been great!!! Hajeed is so nice and loves to hold a conversation with you. My eyebrows always come out even. She gets it done quickly too, only takes about 5-10 minutes! Yes they push the membership a little bit, but it really would be worth it if you get your eyebrows threaded often! read more

I HAVE NEVER WROTE A NEGATIVE REVIEW...first and probably my last. The threaders at this salon are heavy handed. I have had my eyebrows threaded for four years and this is the worst salon I have ever been to. I will never return. First of all the customer service is awful. They cram the membership down your throat. Which is their job but they are too persistent. The threader was also digging into my forehead with the thread and it hurt like a mother fucker, so I naturally turned away. She touched my face and directed by to her in a forceful manner. Someone with better social skills would ask the client how they were doing and to please reposition their head. And finally their threading. Well I'll attach pictures the woman irritated my skin so much that I now have a bumps and pustules on my forehead. I told her my skin is sensitive and I didnt want the cooling gel and she did it anyway. I told her my skin is sensitive and she proceeded to rip my skin off. If your client is wincing and turning their face from you it means you should back off. Like I said I have threaded for many years in wa and ca. And I repeat worst experience ever. Now I have pustules and bumps on my forehead. Thank fucking you brow arc. Please retrain your staff to not have heavy pressure and to watch their clients physical reactions to their treatments. Like I said you can get the same threading somewhere else low pain and professionally done. Best threader is in lynwood in the mall by jcpenny her name starts with an M. This place is a hit or miss, it really depends on who you get the threading service from. The first time I did drop-in, I was happy w/ the result so I decided to purchase a membership. However, I just received threading from a diff girl yesterday and my eyebrows are over threaded. I went in with full eyebrow makeup and confirmed with her I only wanted a clean up and would like to keep the same shape. However, even with the guideline of my makeup, she still decided to shape my eyebrow to whatever she desired. Now my eyebrow is much thinner with extremely arched angle. I hate it right now and it's going to take months to grow back the hair in places I need :( There is little to no wait time during weekdays if you decide to drop in, but keep in mind there is only one person working there at a time. It seems like this chain store brought in quite a few newly trained ppl who have no sense of brow shaping to suit your appearance and give lil regard of customer's request... Just be aware of who is available to provide you services. read more

I have been going to this salon for more or less two years now and the quality of how my brows turn out depends on who does it. Sometimes the lady can be quick and either the brows turns out alright or it turns out a bit disappointing. Other times the lady can be very slow, but I prefer It because I know the lady is then taking her time to perfect my brows which I appreciate very much. The ladies that work here are too pushy when it comes to membership and sometimes can be a bit on the annoying side. For example there is a lady who attends to me frequently and she tells me I should come more often and bunch of other things that seem a bit noisy to me. I get that she could just very well be making conversation and advising me, but I know when I want to come and get my eye brows done. I usually let my brows grow full out before coming back to the salon so I can make good of that $60 membership card, and the fact that she keeps telling me to go more often is obvious that she only wants me to use the 6 sessions as quickly as possible to get another card sooner, and I'm just trying to save. Not to mention that I think that the price is a bit pricey, it's $15. Again it all depends on the person who does it and then you decided if it is worth it. The only thing that seem to be not too good besides on being pushy is that they never ask how the clients wants their brows done, but for me because after they do one then they ask if the client like that way it is. Easy to walk in and get an appointment. Eyebrow threading was done well and better than other threading parlours I have tried in the bellevue/redmond area. They are pricier than some of the other Indian beauty salons, but do offer some member punch card packages that make the cost far more palatable. read more

Literally just got into my car, made the decision to never come here again. Brow arc has always been my go-to, but the treatment of today changed that. The woman doing them was extremely rough, and when I had to hold my lid and forehead I felt pinned down. When I had to do it or position my head for her, she grunted and tapped my forehead. She rushed through it in less then 5 minutes, and looked at me expectedly "done?". My eyes were clearly tearing up after the extreme discomfort but she immediately turned her back without offering the cooling gel. I expect discomfort when it comes to threading, that is okay but this experience today was close to unbearable. I've had my eyebrow accidentally cut before but this one still takes the cake for the worst. The previous times I have visited brow arc the woman were kind, and amazing. But this is the worst service I've had in my life. I would urge people to take the extra time and drive to the brow arc in Alderwood mall, in lynnwood and avoid this place at all cost. read more

I have unlimited membership in this place for a while now. However, the wait to get any service done has been longer and longer each time. This is because there is only one person working during busiest time, on the Weekends. Not sure if I'll continue my membership here, doesn't seem worth it to spend over an hour just to wait to get your eyebrow done and also it's not right for business owner to let one employee working by herself all day on her feet (I wonder if she even get any break.) On other hand I'm ALWAYS happy with the great threading job done by the nice ladies there, especially for Harjeet and Archana (Archana is no longer working at Brow Arc).
