I first came across this establishment when they were located in ShopSmart on Stockton Blvd and once they shared they would be obtaining their exclusive shop I couldn't help but follow them! Not only is the customer service exceptional by a warm greeting upon entry to the comfortable atmosphere and relaxing music. The establishment is always clean and orderly. I appreciate how after each customer the chair is cleaned and sanitized before allow another customer to occupy the chair. The skill set of threading technicians is TOP NOTCH! Baldeesh is my GO TO!!!!! She does an EXCEPTIONAL job taking great care to ensure I look my very best before leaving her chair. I especially appreciate the soothing aloe vera that is applied to my skin after threading! At the completion of the service I'm handed a mirror and ask to check the service to ensure I'm satisfied, which I pass on checking because my experience has never been anything less than superb! If it were possible to give this place ZERO stars, I would give it 0 !! I usually go to the brow place next to People's Market but I wanted to try out new threading places but man regrets... I guess you get what you pay for? I was super stoked on getting my brows done since I've been growing out my brows and waiting to even them out. On top of that there was a deal too! Yelp reviews have failed me :( According to the reviews on Yelp, this place had good reviews but I should've paid more attention to the 1 star reviews. The lady who did my brows messed it up. Now I'm back to square one -_-. It looks like she did my brows with her eyes closed. I specifically told her that I wanted a clean up and to keep the thickness of my brows ( also to help even out my left and right brow). REGRETS REGRETS! She thinned out my brows and made weird, uneven shapes to my brow arch.. I guess this place is a hit and miss. I usually come here every few months to get my brows thread. I came yesterday with two of my sisters to get our brows thread. They greeted us and sat us right away. I had instructed the one doing my brows not to thread it to thinly because my brows are already thin. I told her to just clean it up that's it. Twice id mention it to her since the last time I came here a different lady that was working on my sister this time thread it too thin after id told her I just want a cleaning and the result came out too thin. (I didn't get a chance to asked for her name. I left disappointed but paid anyways.) She said ok and started to thread my right brow. As she finished up my right brow, she started on my left brow but then I stop her wanting to check it out first. She thread my brows out super thin & on top of that took too much of my brow in the front off! I'd brush it off and told her nicely not to thin out the other brow. About two minutes later, I was pretty upset that she once again took too much hair off the front and left the middle so thick. She then exclaim that I had no hair to begin with, that's until I pulled a pic from my phone I took of my brows before I came in. She looked at me speechless as I sat there the whole time upset that she ruin my brows after I told her not to. My sisters came over to see what I was doing. Then to realize the 1st lady I had a horrible experience with the 1st time took a chunk of my sister's brows off and tried to cover it up by assisting she pencil her brows In for her. She only found out that she had a missing chunk because she took off the pencil brow due to not liking it. Her manager came up to us and we explain our situation. She then insisted We didn't have to pay for it. Her manager did a great job on my other sister's brows tho. She was the pregnant one. We left pretty pissed off. I get the fact that my brows are going to grow back, but it takes months to do so. She didn't listen to what I had asked for. Pretty much it was brush off and when a mistake happen; the excuse is, "there was no hair there or it was already missing" everything felt rush. And I think it's all eyebrows threading place. My #1 place for getting my brows cleaned up. I don't wax because that irritates my skin and plucking one by one at home is just too tedious and at times painful. Threading to awesome since it's all natural and it's super fast to get done! All they use is a piece of thread, which always amazes me. I noticed threading has become more popular over the past year as many stores started opening for it especially in the mall, but of course the mall would charge more what they charge here. $8 for brows and depending on what you want to get threaded, it's more or less. I always go to SONIA, she's so awesome! She always understands how I want my brows even if I have extremely thin brows. You just have to specify to them what you would like (I always tell them to not make it too thin. I want to clean it up but still keep the shape and thickness). This place is inside ShopSmart. This place has given me the least painful eyebrow threading I've ever had (it's always painful for me). The lady who did my eyebrows and upper lip was pretty good in applying pressure so it wouldn't hurt much and I'll get used to the pain. Fast and efficient. One thing that bugged me was that it's so open to the public. Don't expect a huge room like the popular mall eyebrow threading place. I have had my eyebrows threaded before so I had a lot of hope for my first time coming to Brow and Glow. I came in on October 10 and I was deeply disappointed. I had some young lady doing my brow and I told her not too thin because my brows are already thin I just wanted to clean them up. Well when she done she put a mirror to my face and I was upset because my brows were spaced even further apart. She didn't even remove all the fallen brow hairs on my face. I even got some in my eye and I was just done with this place. Then i noticed the next day I had multiple scabs under my brow. I had to go to the makeup store across and buy an eyeliner pencil and fix my eyebrows at the store because I didn't want to walk around with retarded looking brows. I am never coming here again! I would recommend beauty by thread. They will give you what you ask for. read more

It took me awhile to find this place on google maps since the business is established inside a super market. The place is clean, tidy with plenty of seats available for clients. The owner, Ramandip Kaur is such a sweet lady. I prefer my brows thick and clean and she definitely listened to my needs. $12 for both eyebrows and lip! What a deal! :) read more

I had a very ok experience here. I bought the deal with yelp but I had a very difficult time redeeming it, and they asked me to pay and use it next time, but I'm not from the area and it was my last day there. The eyebrow threading itself was good, though, but my main issue was that they weren't accepting their yelp coupon and the girl who I had didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about. So when I moved back to sac I was looking for a place that could do such quality. How I found this place was by groupon. I was able to lady by Parm. Who goes by PK for short. And I've stuck with her ever since! I love the work she does. She's takes her time and is able to make my arche compliment my skin. I've been going to her for several months and have been sticking with her ever since. All the ladies are great but I strongly recommend Parm.
