It turned out, as a good dentist told me, that he created a false/fake root, the cause of the pain, which destroyed the tooth pretty quickly. My first experience had been fairly frightening and I'd been hesitant about following up with the re-treatment for that tooth. Dr Kahn was very thorough and articulate in explaining what the procedure would entail. He was also able to explain what had gone wrong with the first procedure performed by the other doctor. The office staff was very efficient in the scheduling process and Carmella was exceptionally helpful in regards to my questions about insurance coverage. The actual root canal, while not pleasant, was pain free and over in an hour. I did have trouble initially in getting an appointment but I understand now that was likely a result of the answering service/undelivered message.
