Next I was told it was the ABS module which it was NOT! I had to spend an additional $75 to another mechanic who bled the master cylinder and my brakes were up where they belonged. Not only did Bill at Mancini's $449 to repair my car which they did not but, when I went back to the station (Bill said any problems just come back) he misdiagnosed my car and broke the foot long piece that adjusts the seat and failed to tell me. I called several mechanics in the area and they were all booked up until after the holiday weekend and I wanted go get this fixed ASAP. I then googled further and came across L'Europa Auto Repair, the name seemed very appealing to me because I'm European myself :) I called and spoke to a lovely Christy who was very informative and knowledgeable on the phone and she was able to fit me in an hour later. Upon my arrival to L'Europa I was greeted by a cheerful and friendly Christy herself, along with Little and Bruno, her adorable 2 pups which made my day! I immediately knew I was in good hands when Christy and I conversed about my car issues and she definitely knew her stuff, explaining all the possibilities of what could be wrong with my vehicle, this is coming from a girl that knows about cars :) 20 minutes later she approached me with a smile and stated that I was good to go. She advised me that due to my battery recently dying the car computer wasnt properly reset after the jump start and it was throwing numerous codes that the mechanic cleared. I did not need a new battery or an oxygen sensor, after all! She was very honest and upfront about everything - had I gone elsewhere, I'm sure the outcome would have been much different and I would have to spend money on an unnecessary repair. I was so impressed and touched by L'Europa honest work ethic, that I wish I lived closer as this would be my go to mechanic, going forward. I've FINALLY found a new auto mechanic whom I can trust to not take me for a ride; in the…read morefigurative sense, not the literal sense. Thankfully, I haven't had much reason to visit a mechanic in a few years but of course, these lucky streaks don't last forever; my 2006 Mazda was making some loud noise when I turned and I was told that it was a wheel bearing by a friend. Also, reaching speeds of 65 mph or greater, my car/steering wheel begins to shake and pull to the left... plus I figured with the mileage (87K) I probably needed a tune-up. Jimmy was great with calling me and keeping me up to date with everything he was going to do, before he was going to do it. After he assessed that it was, in fact, the passenger side wheel bearing that needed to be replaced, he quoted me full price with parts, labor and tax to make sure I was comfortable with it. He also told me he'd check to see if I truly needed a tune-up before doing one and that he'd let me know before he did any further work; it turns out that I didn't need a tune up and won't for at least another 20k miles or so. He was very transparent in the fact that yes, I did need an alignment but more importantly, I need 4 new tires so he suggested I not do the alignment and just get the new tires before the winter time which would take care of all of the issues I'm seeing with the pulling and shaking. Folks, you won't find honesty like this with a mechanic all that often, trust me... I've done the leg work. He was very friendly, quick and efficient. I will FOR SURE be bringing my car back to Jimmy for any future service needs I have.

I bought a Groupon for Broadway tire for an oil change and it cost me like 60 bucks and I'm thinking when I get there they'll be like an up charge or something nope 60 bucks I couldn't believe it. Then I asked them like what the regular price would be and it was 110 literally half the price of what I've been paying everywhere else. They were so nice. Got me in and out took me on a last-minute appointment have gone back several times. I literally won't go anywhere else from my oil changes.

Doing his job (not faulting him at all) he announced that I needed new brakes. I stood there, mouth agape, trying to take this in. I had purchased the car only two years previously, from Majestic (when it was still Majestic), with a sales pitch that included "and we just put in new brakes". Now, two years later, and perhaps 10,000 miles older, as I work from home, they tell me I need new brakes. AND, that I will cost $800 to repair!!! I politely tell them I had not recently plundered a third-world country, and therefore did not have the money for this repair. He very politely said "no problem" and said he would add it to the record for reference when I did have the money. Fast forward two weeks: my husband has a friend (he's "got a guy") who he went to school with who has an auto shop in West Warwick. This morning, we bring my car to him to look at, after a previous phone conversation uncovered that the same job, NOT at Majestic, would only cost $400. A few minutes ago I received a call from this guy. he said, "you don't need brakes. Your brakes are practically brand new. Like 80%. So you're all set." I was never compensated or even made aware of this has to see it for myself and even then didn't notice until i was home! Reached out to him about it and was blatantly ignored. Don't go here unless you like your vehicle straight disrespected. Im 19 years old and this is my second car and the first one i'm putting real blood sweat and tears into. This experience was awful and makes me never want to bring her to a shop again let alone this shop. If i were to be compensated or at least have the side mirror cover returned I wouldn't be leaving a negative f****** review!!!
