This is a review for the service department - we have not purchased from here. We get our 2019…read moreChevy Volt serviced here. Pros: - Excellent customer service. If you have an issue and express a concern to them, they will make honest efforts to solve it for you. They are always professional when speaking. They use a text service to keep you updated and will even check in on you after you've taken it home to make sure you're satisfied. - Quality work. They know what they are doing and will solve your problem. Cons: - Expensive. Yes, car service is expensive in general, but they are probably still on the higher end for cost, but I guess that's the trade off for knowing you're getting work done right - Busy. They take in a lot of vehicles and aren't always quick returning your vehicle. However, when we had an issue with a vehicle taking longer than expected, we talked to the tech and he got it expedited.

I had to get home so I disconnect the wire harness from the pump and found lots of corrosion in the plug and the pump. The dealer came back and stated that this is not covered under warranty since I removed the connector and found the issue. I had GM care involved . Bottom line was I left the dealer and Paid for diagnostic time . I took my truck to another dear ship in Pairs . They got me in right away and called me and stated that the truck is ready for pick up . This will be under warranty to change the harness and pump but they had to order the part but it will take about 2-3 wks . The dealer called me once the part came in and repaired the truck. I called back to Hatfield and left a message for the General Manager and I was told the note will go right onto his desk. No call back or credit me for the amount I had to Pay that I should of not had to. I have been in the marine industry since 1989 , tech till 2012, became service manager and took care of all the warranty claims . This is not the dealer I would go to for any warranty repairs. I would love for the General Manager call me to discuss.

AT MINIMUM KEEP YOUR WEBSITE UP TO DATE ON INVENTORY, ITS MAKING YOU LOOK BAD IN THIS REVIEW. I…read morewill say I didn't buy anything from them. I'm 3 hrs away, they had several car listed on the website that were available and I was interested in [the sale price listed] and I had cash to purchase IT [NEW}. I get there and none that were on sale, that was listed on the website were available. They sold the them all the day or two before was the answer.... LOL OK.... And as of today they are still HAVE THEM listed for sale 2 days after the fact I was there, telling them about it being a problem... so this is why I'm leaving a review to caution others. A LITTLE BAIT AND SWITCH ACTION HERE I THINK. So I drove 6hr round trip for nothing. Caution--- call and make sure they have what's listed on line FIRST or have what your looking for on the lot. Here is where it gets good... Also I found a car similar but a different color, had the same options as the other listed, other than the color, same sticker price and was 4k more on sale, LOL. they play the numbers game... caution doing business with this approach. I haven't purchased a new car since 2019 and apparently it has changed.. I have purchased multiple MANY new cars over the years [lets say around 15 to play it safe, so know what I'm doing and know what to expect] and glad to say I have never delt with THIS stuff before... all the added fees of non scene , plus---$850 to do paperwork selling you the car,,. LOL and $150 to get title paperwork to the title office. $1000 bucks of your hard earned money for them to type up the sale of the vehicle, or for them to get a loan for you that they are going to make money on anyway,... [sign me up for that job,lol ]... CAUTION-- think about this before you sign the line... just an extra $1000 for them to do there job selling you a car. weeeeee and if they help you get that loan- you might just be paying them a percentage as well on that loan... ill caution you now... yes they do it. I guess I'm old, or maybe more wise with my hard earned money. Why has it got so difficult to even purchase a car? it can be SIMPLE--here is the price, haggle a little , make a deal, buy it, add the government tax gift, and that should be simple to do, give few bones to get the paperwork done[but a 1000 bucks] wow...... but nope... we got added fees, Add wax, add extended warranty, add for washing, add for that new car smell, add for looking at it cross eyed... add, add, add... and add more stuff... lol OH I ALMOST FORGOT-- HOW WILL YOU BE PAYING FOR IT? HOW LONG YOU WANT TO PAY FOR IT?... IT'S EASY------- JUST TELL ME WHAT YOULL TAKE FOR THE CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!- OR I MAKE THE OFFER TO THEM.. THEN GO FROM THERE. THEY HAVE THESE OPTION THROWING THEM AT THE CUSTOMER TO GET YOU CONFUSED-- JUST TO FIGURE HOW THEY WILL STEAL MORE MONEY FROM YOU.. CAUTION... AND YUP BEFORE YOU KNOW IT ,YOUR PAYING 4K MORE FOR THE SAME CAR. NOT ME.... GOOD LUCK... THE SALESMAN SAID ALL EVERY DEALSHIPS DO THIS, WELL I GUESS I WONT BE PARTICPATING TODAY, JUST BECAUSE EVRYONE ELSE DOES IT. . LOL HEY THEY MAY BE GOOD PEOPLE THERE AND ON THE UP AND UP, BUT SOMETHINGS IS DEFINATLY WRONG WITH WHAT I EXPERIENCED. PLEASE BE ON YOUR TOES AT ANY DEALERSHIP IF THEY ALL ARE DOING IT LIKE THIS... WELCOME TO 2026. SO CORRECT AND REMOVE THE CAR FROM ONLINE, WHEN THE CAR IS SOLD. DO YOUR JOB, apparently the $1000 bucks extra fees didn't pay this guy to do his job in removing them from the web.... Maybe create a new fee for that!

The phrase on the billboard at the car lot in Nicholasville says, "Buy with Confidence". YOU CANNOT…read moreBUY WITH CONFIDENCE FROM ANY ROD HATFIELD DEALERSHIP. We have had several issues with the car we bought from them less than a year ago and the customer service for both the sales and service sides is nonexistent. Here is our latest experience with the only car we have bought from them: We took the car to the service department on May 27th, Steve called us on July 30th and told us it is finally fixed. They had the car 64 days before it was fixed. I was lied to by multiple employees several times. The part for the car was ordered on July 23rd, 57 days after they had the car. During that time is where the lies were told, no ownership or taking responsibility for their actions or what they tell the customer and NO ACCOUNTABILITY! NOTHING has been offered by Rod Hatfield about how they treated us, lied to us, and the inconvenience they have caused for us being without my sons car during the 64 days they had his car (for the 3rd time in 8 months) after buying the car from Rod Hatfield. We were told the part was on a national back order a couple of days after bringing the car in and our order for the part would be escalated every 2 weeks until the part came in. I called at least once a week for an update, left messages for a return call, sometimes I wouldn't receive a call back. I took it upon myself to call a local Nissan Dealership service department to see if they had an order from Rod Hatfield for our car. I was told by the Nissan Dealership on 2 separate occasions and weeks apart, they had NO record of Rod Hatfield ordering the part for our car. When I told Rich and Steve about what the Nissan dealership told me, they assured me that they have been in touch with that dealership (multiple times) to order the part for our car. Week 7 rolls around, we were dealing with the same stories, and no end was in sight. Again, I took it upon myself to reach out to Nissan Consumer Affairs on July 16th about the part being on back order, trying to get an ETA on when the part can be shipped to Rod Hatfield. This being their first time hearing about our case, they wanted to know where the car was at, what Nissan dealership they ordered the part from and info on our car. On Tuesday July 22nd, Nissan Consumer affairs got back to me and told me that the Nissan dealership I provided to them that the part had been ordered by Rod Hatfield (the same dealership I contacted myself and was told by the parts manager Rich and the GM Steve that our part had been ordered) still had NO record of Rod Hatfield needing that part for our car. 8 weeks since they have had our car and we are where we were on DAY 1! I go in person on Wednesday July 23rd and ask for proof that the part has been ordered. Nothing provided, they get defensive, I was told by Rich that he was not going to help me as he walked out. Steve told me to meet him up front. He went to talk to Rich without me, they called Nissan and ordered the part on July 23rd. I got the Nissan dealership on the phone with Steve, I wanted to know when the part was ordered, Nissan said "Today was our first time hearing from Rod Hatfield about your part". This is when I got Jeff Ramey involved, all he offered to me was his apologies. It took Rod Hatfield 57 days to order the part on July 23rd. The part came on July 29th and I got the call to pick it up on July 30th, It took 6 days for the part to come in after it was ordered. I have spoken to 3 of the highest "decision makers" within the company of Rod Hatfield, Jeff Ramey - Head of service @ all 6 locations, Steve, GM of Nicholasville, and Fred H., GM of the Chevy store (Jeff's boss). None of the 3 can offer anything with how we have been treated and lied too. Jeff is ignoring my calls, I have left five messages for him to return my call, being told he has got my messages. Days have passed and he still hasn't returned my calls. You cannot buy with confidence from Rod Hatfield. NO OWENERSHIP, RESPONSIBILITY, AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR WORDS/ACTIONS.
