Looked for a spot for kids haircuts - when I called to ask if they do they asked how old, and they were a bit hesitant bc they said some younger kids cry. I told them my 4.5 yr old has gotten several cuts before and is totally fine in a chair. They said ok come on in! We got there 10 mins later and there were about 3 ppl in front. You have to sign in, but the way they assign a barber is very selective? I figured the "master barber" didn't want to do a kids haircut so even though we were next, they made us wait for one of the gals and then took others before us. In the end we waited about 15-20 mins (on a sat afternoon) so it wasnt bad. They had 4 barbers so even though there is a flow of ppl waiting, it moves. We ended up with Tracy, and she was super patient with our son. My son was super ticklish but she managed to keep him still and told him to count to 100 Haircuts are super affordable. $20 for kids and regular $16 beard trim $35 for cut, shave, shampoo, blows dry (deluxe) Cash only. read more

I took my little brother to this place and they messed it up so bad they didn't listen to him they cut more than what asked for. He told them clear what he wanted and still gave him the wrong haircut, he asked for a low taper and instead they gave him a mid fade. He was very upset with what he got. I have now come here four times. I thought it was time that I write a review. Ken is the owner. He has cut my hair twice. The other two times I had a woman and a young man. I prefer Ken but all of my haircuts have been good. It took me until the fourth cut by Ken to get my hair the way I want. Not the fault of the stylists, just my own instructions. Now it's #6 clipper on the sides and back, scissored on top and front. It's essentially a businessman's haircut, fairly straightforward. Ken and the others are detailed in their work, and take their time. I like that. I always take them up on trimming my eyebrows as well. I do see other customers having more detailed cuts, so I know that they can handle whatever style you ask of them. I'm retired and so I can go anytime. I choose weekdays in the mid-morning and I've only had to wait once as a walk-in, and that was a Friday afternoon while I was still working. They do take appointments online as well. Ken is friendly and greets you as you come in. There is plenty of room to sit and relax. Prices are reasonable, though they went up from $16 to $20 for a haircut. A sign posted had warned of the impending increase months in advance, so no surprise there. I read in another review that they will take Zelle payments, but I've only paid in cash. I will continue to come to Brother's Barber and reommend them to others. read more

This is a real nice spot. It can get pretty busy on the weekends with up to an hour wait, but it's worth it. You can go with any chair and they will take good care of you. I usually ask for a trim / mid taper and always happy with the results. read more

What a great cut and experience! For context, I'm an Asian guy with straight hair and uneven length on both sides. Barbers have definitely had trouble cutting my hair in the past. I asked Ken for a skin fade and he was fast, efficient, and meticulous. The fade looked great and it definitely gave me some confidence going into the weekend. I've been to more expensive places that charge more and honestly aren't up to par with the fade I got from Ken. Regular cuts are $20 and skin fades are $25 as of this review. I understand this is a new place but the barbers should be somewhat experienced. Paid $16 for this haircut. You pay for what you get I guess... see photos for the haircut. I would not recommend this to a friend or anyone in desperate need of a haircut. Have your wife do it LOL Also side note for the business- I recommend you guys do appointments too. No point in calling and being told to come in 1pm, and then needing to wait in line for a haircut.. 35 minute wait for a barber and then another 30 minute for the actual haircut. read more

I went to this barbershop for my 18 month old baby's first haircut. I patiently waited my turn. When it was my boy's turn, we went up the seat and I explained that my son has curly hair and that I wanted to keep as much of the curl as possible on top but wanted the sides and back cleaned up. They flat out refused to cut his hair. There was no compromise and all they explained was that he was too young. Well, why didn't someone approach me while I was waiting and explain to me that he was too young? Instead they let me waste my time there. I'm a busy mom of three, this was excruciating and I hate wasting time. Suffice it to say I was furious at the poor service and complete disregard I experienced there. Let me start off that the barber was really nice. I was a walk in and I only waited about 15 min. Also... you get what you pay for. I didn't catch his name but the guy cutting hair in all the pictures in the reviews. If you have curly hair DO NOT go to this guy. I asked him on the phone if he knew how to cut curly hair and he confirmed, but that was not the case. My hair before the cut was about 3 inches stretched out on the top. It usually is supposed to flop over to the sides. He cut the sides to the point where the curve for the top of my hair started and now my hair can't flop over on all sides. He also DRY cut my top hair with scissors when usually ever other barber I've ever gone to wets it first. Some point are still 3in long btw. The back fade also is literally uneven. Homie doesn't know how to cut latino curly hair. read more

My son needed a haircut and I found this small shop on Yelp. The owner is the one who usually cuts his hair. He is very good with children. That's always one of my main concerns when I take my son to get a haircut. They recently updated their system and no longer do stamp cards but have you check in on an iPad , when you walk in. The staff is very friendly. The parking lot is never a problem. They take appointments now but also do walk ins. They charge $20 for children haircuts. read more

I got a haircut by Michael and his skills are amazing. Upon walking in for the first time, I was instantly greeted and welcomed. They're so nice and not to mention, Michael's skills are amazing! I've been going to Brother's Barber for about a year. I work in the area but I don't live around here. Even on my off days, its still worth driving 25 minutes out to get a great hair from Tracy. Please see this before you go, will save your life! Not skilled enough. If you want a obsolete hair cut that would make you look like a bum and you are from 20 years ago, then go here. See attachment 1(they type they are capable of) and 2 (what a good hair style looks like) Secondly, overall just very dogmatic, uncommunicative and despotic. If you give them instructions, not on how to cut hair, but how you want your hair to look like, they will stare into your eye with an annoyed expression as if you're bothering them. Almost like you as a customer can't inquire about the service that they are selling For example, I asked for A, and in the end I repeatedly said that I want it changed to B, but due to their limited English, they couldn't understand. And in the end, they wanted to turn it over to me, as if I didn't repeatedly tell them what I want multiple times. Try to blame others instead of just owing it up. Also whatever you tell them in the middle of the haircut they just brush it off with "'em" because they couldn't speak English. This could cost you to lose your long hair, or miss any fine adjustment that makes your hair look good. Also overall just very rude, they will try to seem kind by giggling when talking to put on an act, but when they are actually speaking to you, instead of small talking to get your guards down, they will be very rude. For instance, I was a walk in with no appointments, the second I walked in I told me let me look at my hair in the mirror so I know what I want, they said "she's waiting for you" as if I am late on an appointment when I am just a walk in(there was no one in line as well), and I can't check my hair to see what needs to be cut first, before getting a cut. Literally, anywhere else you go will have better skill than these self taught barbers read more

I decided to come in here because it's across from the grocery store I shop at. Both times, I've come in the morning and there was a short wait. Ken, the owner, is always there and he's a super friendly guy. He always asks how you like it cut and if you want anything done a specific wait. Place is clean, comfortable.
