DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
We had him come out to clean our area rug. He was an hour later with no explanation, he was super unprofessional, the stains in our rug are still there, after more than 24 hours the rug is STILL wet (he told me it would dry in 2 hours), and there is a soapy type residue at the base of the rug.
We had to move our rug outside to try and dry it in the sun because we were worried having it wet for that long on our hardwoods would damage the floor.
During the cleaning, the soap and water sprayed onto the surrounding hardwood and when he was done cleaning, he didn't even offer to wipe up the surrounding floor (I had to do that after he left). He didn't wear shoe covers in the house, even after he was cleaning the rug, then walking on it with his shoes. He set his wet bucket on my wooden coffee table and now there is a ring that I can't get off (I think there was cleaner on the bottom of the bucket, as it doesn't seem like a water ring).
When I paid, I was given no receipt, no invoice, nothing. The whole experience was really odd. This was all after he was an hour late, which he later apologized for, but only after we had to tell him it wasn't cool to just show up an hour late with no explanation.
We've had our carpets cleaned before, and none of what happened with this company was normal by any stretch of the imagination.
I emailed them asking for a refund because we are really not happy with the experience or the cleaning, and I never heard back from anyone.
The rug looks the exact same as it did before he came only now it's wet and has caused me a ton of time to clean up.
If it wasn't the type of rug their company typically cleans, then they should just tell the customer that so they don't end up with a shotty job and are out $150 and unhappy. I hate leaving negative reviews. I try to give people a chance. But I just don't want anyone else to get taken by this unprofessional company. (oh, and it wasn't cheap either).
If they want to stay in business, for future customers I suggest:
Always provide a quote prior to showing up (I asked TJ for a quote on the phone and he said he didn't have one and insisted on scheduling a time to come out anyway) Then when he told me the price, it was awkward because he was already at my house.
Always provide an Invoice when someone pays (I thought it was weird that I made the check out to TJ and not Bros Pros)
Always wear shoe covers when you go into a customer's home (this is a standard service industry practice. Even Comcast wears shoe covers).
Never put wet buckets on people's furniture.
Preferably, never be late. But if you are, call the customer and tell them you will be late and offer them to reschedule if it doesn't work for them.
I cannot stress enough how odd this service was. And how unhappy we are about it. read more
