I have had a service contract with this company for the last decade. I Called them with a heat…read moreemergency on Saturday Jan 22 morning at 6am as my house lost all heat when the temperature was below 10°. On-call technician for the weekend arrived that morning and properly diagnosed the problem- needed a new gas valve. They had two of them in their local warehouse 5 miles away but because he is a new employee he was not given a key to the warehouse despite being on call! He called his manager who lives an hour and a half away and that manager refused to come down and open up the warehouse to get the part needed . He told me I must wait until Monday to get the job done! Are you kidding me! Subzero temperatures and he will not come to get the part needed for a loyal customer for over a decade! This is inexcusable in a company who provides on-call emergency service- which will cost me $500 for the technician to show up plus additional time spent. Did that manager not realize the risk of frozen pipes bursting and excessive damage to my home that could occur with no heat for several days during frigid temperatures? Of course he did, but he was selfish and lazy as well what kind of policy is it that the on-call technician does not have a key to the warehouse where critical parts are stored? Absolutely ridiculous! This manager needs to be removed from his position! Would he treat his family like this? Certainly not! I have fired this company and advise those who use this company beware.... I hope the owners of this local company in Pleasantville read this review and take action with that manager who refused to provide service to a customer who has a service contract. Fortunately I was able to find another responsible HVAC company who came within a few hours with the part and fixed the problem. Tom in Briarcliff Manor

The technicians explained the installation process, and function of the units. I was very impressed with their communication, the quality of their work, and the timeliness. I strongly recommend AMX for HVAC work.

I can't recall how we found Peter (owner of Northeast Radiant) but thank goodness we did. He is now our plumber, well water guru and heat/air guru. His wife, Gina, schedules appointments and is completely responsive and wonderful to work with. They may be family-owned but to be clear, they have state of the art equipment, services and technicians. They are extremely advanced in their field so I don't at all mean to convey this is a "mom and pop" business; they are ultra professional. This house is beyond complicated - totally custom and painfully expensive to figure out - and Peter came in to clear up a long list of issues with precision. If you want 5-star service and no "run-around" results, call them. They won't swindle you and they won't let you down. You get exactly what you pay for and you don't have to go back a second time for the same issue. I'm learning that in Westchester, that's invaluable.

I never hesitate to send these guys to someone and you shouldn't hesitate to use them. Honest folks are hard to find in this industry but I'm happy that we found them. Another feather in the hat for the team at Northeast!

We recently finished our geothermal project and I wanted to share this review…read more We began talking with Rob a few months ago and since the beginning, he showed us how attentive and detail oriented he can be. We live in a Tudor house but already had central air so the conversion to geothermal was not too complicated, except for one addition that we were building. Rob explained all the options and we ended up going with a full geothermal conversion, including the new addition. All along the process, Rob proved to be extremely knowledgeable and he even gave us some advice outside of the geothermal project, like the interest of spray foaming the attic. At the end of the day, we are extremely happy with our geothermal installation and with the relationship that Rob was able to build with us. He secured the ConEd incentives for us, which added tremendous value to the ROI of the project. On top of that, we are no longer paying gas for heating and our AC is pretty cheap now! Bottom line, Rob was flexible, available, friendly and very knowledgeable. We 100% recommend Geothermal Works.

He is extremely knowledgeable and mentored me through the entire process (insulation, geothermal installation, ductwork, permits, applying for all the rebates, etc.). In the end, about 70% of the cost was covered by tax incentives and ConEd! Have been using the system for 3 month now including the super cold days and it has never needed the gas backup, keeping me warm and very comfortable. My gas usage is down more than 85% compared to last January and electric has only about doubled. So I am already saving energy & cost in the winter, not to speak of the benefits the system will have over my old AC in the summer.
