Reached out to reschedule a new patient appt I had Oct 2023 in Sept 2023 due to conflict and the…read morenext available appt was late December via text. It was never confirmed that it was booked and would have expected like every other dr office in the state to get a reminder given it was months away. Since there was no reminder I did not know I had an appt and was in the middle of dealing with a personal emergency. They sent me a bill trying charge me a no show fee for appointment and when I explained that I didn't receive any reminder they said that was a courtesy but not standard practice which is ridiculous. They said they would waive the fee this time and I explained that I would not be continue with this practice.

Dr Wilder seems to have lost his desire to connect/hear from his patients. Been going there for…read moreYEARS w/ my family, always paid on time/early, never caused an issue w/ them. When they implemented a new policy I was told Dr Wilder had approved , I asked him to call me for a 2 minute call so I could share a concern as a customer/patient. His staff told me he literally refused to call, & would only "let" me share my concern at my next appointment in 2 months. Honestly - because I respected the business (past tense) I was just trying to help him notice a potential issue where he might lose future/current business. I didn't want or ask for any money, refunds, or special treatment. Just wanted to share, and he made it clear that listening to patients who wanted to help was NOT important. And now - I've found w/in about 3 minutes work a highly rated Dermatologist that is 5 minutes from my house AND will speak to me on the phone (gasp!). So thanks Dr Wilder & the Adult & Pediatric Dermatology team - you helped me get motivated to find care that actually... cares!

Only when I was…read morefinally placed in a room (40 mins after my appointment time), the nurse informed me that new patients are not eligible for full body exams. Clearly a money grab and I'm not a new patient, I just haven't been in a handful of years. What else is a preliminary dermatology visit if not a full-body skin check? Even more concerning is his creepiness. Although the nurse was very adamant that I could not receive a full-body check, Dr. Patrignelli decided to ONLY check my back and breasts under my garments. These areas were not areas I stressed as concern. I asked him specifically to look at my thigh, he removed the mole, but didn't even inspect the rest of my leg. He also inappropriately asked if I had a boyfriend and used dating apps.

I came in as a first-time patient. I asked the receptionist to mute the sound but she said it was their policy leave it as it was. When I was brought into the exam room, the nurse asked me why I was there and I told her I needed an annual skin check. She told me they don't do full body checks for new patients. She did not give me a reason other than reiterating this policy. I asked her why no one had previously asked me my reason for the visit on the phone so that I could have been told earlier about this policy, but she had no answer. Feeling uncomfortable, I chose to leave. She asked, "You don't even want a face and back check?" No, thank you. I will seek out a practice where I feel more comfortable.
