It fits my physique really well. One of the Casual wear brands that is here to stay. Yes there's a ton of casual wear shops that came out within the last decade, but this brand has stood the time. You buy an outfit and it'll look nice for a good while. It's definitely not a fad brand, it's a classic casual brand. Anyways, the store. It's nice and orderly inside. Very neat and bright, so you can find anything you're looking for and see yourself in good lighting as well. The associates are really nice and very helpful when needed. I enjoy shopping here, I'm sure you will as well.

It's one of the larger J Crew outlets in MI and they carry a good deal of kids stuff too which is great because my little cousin is a budding fashionista so I can get her some cute stuff without breaking my bank. They have good sales, quality merch (for a factory store), and cute stuff indeed. My only compliant is that while the staff can be nice sometimes they can almost be TOO nice. I like a little help now and again and love a good welcome but I go shopping to unwind or pick something I need up quickly. Not to socialize. I've found this at a lot of J.Crew outlets, actually. I'm constantly dodging overly friendly staff. And that makes me feel like a jerk but I just need some me time, y'all! My most recent visit to this particular location I was followed around non stop by a sales clerk who kept trying to make small talk about each item I looked at. I was at the brink of a wicked cold and rushing to find my fella some stuff for his birthday and thus I was not in the mood and definitely made it known. I did everything I could with the exception of snapping "Leave me alone!" which I would have if I hadn't walked out of there in irritation. You know, gently saying "Sorry, I'm in a hurry" or "Not sure. Just looking still." etc, etc. I don't like being rude and would have rather removed myself from the situation to avoid it so that's what I did. I get it--I worked in clothing retail for 7 years. I know that it can get boring or you're just trying to do what you're told (be friendly) but sometimes you just gotta pick up on those social cues and know when someone has had enough chit chat or you'll kill a potential sale.

They have the typical outlet stores like Coach, Old Navy, etc. but they do have a Pottery Barn. We walked in, not very busy and literally NOT ONE EMPLOYEE ACKNOWLEDGED US or even said "hi" despite us walking right in front of them. They seemed to have some decent prices, but items I liked were too big to take home on the plane :-) I was surprised they had a Goodwill next door....full of really cool Halloween items....the best items were big animated figures for $299....little pricey for something they received for free, but that is typical goodwill. Clothing and household section was small in my opinion. I was looking forward to the Lululemon store, but not too impressed with the prices. Most prices are the same as the online prices "We Made Too Much." I came back after the Labor Day weekend thinking maybe they might have different deals....NOPE. Same stuff and same prices. I have to say, the employees here were not friendly here either so maybe it is a Michigan thing? Not the most impressive outlet, but if you like outlet shopping....maybe you might get better deals...ya never know :-)

My Mom and I stopped in Michael Kors outlet last week and I immediately fell in love with a purse named Connie. Perfect size. Nearly perfect color (I wanted a black purse but it was white and still cute!) It was $70. I have buyers remorse so I actually ended up coming back later in the day and deciding if I still wanted it. I ended up buying it and I needed a wallet to go with it. There was the same pattern in a wallet for 80% off. Purse was 70% off. I got a wallet and a purse for under $100. I actually heard about it from a friend who visited the store on their way back from Frankenmuth, and I said I'd stop by if I was ever in the area. They sell shirts, shoes, jewelry, stickers, posters and lots in between. Upon entering you'll definitely experience some nostalgia of either your childhood or just something you remember from years ago, with heavy emphasis on the 90's logos, apparel and TV shows/cartoons. I ended up picking up a T shirt, which only turned out to be 10 bucks, and there's a watch that I told myself I'd pick up the next time I stop by. I am however a little weary of places that don't have return policies because it's 2020 and I don't really see why you wouldn't have a return policy but oh well. All in all I really do like the store and hope to return soon.
