I have only been here a handful of times but have always had great service! Recently the past 2…read morevisits I worked with Paris shes in intimates and I really love her energy. She is grounded and helpful and makes the tasks of finding a perfect bra for you her goal! From a customer/employee standpoint she can "read the room" and really gives you whatever services style you desire. The first time i met her I wanted to be in/out and didn't even wanna explore and she was helpful and made it fast, then this time i had more time and i loved that she listened to how I wanted the bra to feel/fit and she had me try on a few to see what i was working with and then said Ill be back and had 4 perfect options for me! She wasn't pushy or overbearing , she asked permission to help me adjust into my bra properly (i have a very full bust) and as some who dreads bra shopping with a large chest she made me feel seen and comfortable. And again aside from this experience i always find this store very chill and helpful when i do pop in. This is exactly the customer service I expect when shopping at luxury department stores! Thank you for the consistency in customer service.

This review is not specifically for a Bloomingdale's store, it's more about Bloomingdale's overall…read more I ordered three pairs of men's hokas running shoes online, but they only shipped two pairs. I have called their customer service number multiple times and filed multiple claims. However, Bloomingdale's will not issue a refund or a replacement because they say that since the package arrived, there's nothing they can do. The other thing they can't do is provide proof that all three pairs of shoes ended up being shipped. Their system is horrible because you can't actually talk to the people who review the claims. If I could give them zero stars, I would. p. s. If you want an actual person to review your claim with Bloomingdale's and not a bot, you have to call their number. If you submit it online, it will just be auto reviewed by a bot.

I was looking to buy cloths for summer vacation . Went to the Wisconsin Ave Banana Republic. The…read morefew sales people were busy talking to each other . I finally flagged down a young salesman asking how the sales work . His answered with hesitation " some items are on sale - others not " and walked off to chat with his colleagues. To confirm the store was almost empty . I finally found a shirt I liked . As it was impossible to get help, I went on the BR website . Great on sale it seemed. Took it to the counter : " sorry others motifs are on sale but this one is not ". This person was actually pleasant. I actually didn't really care about a sale price or not but I was not OK with the overall service. I left and end ended up spending $370 next door at the Gap. BR Wisconsin -never again.

I was quite impressed by the friendlness of the sales associates. *I've forgotten his name, but he was thin Black man with a neck tattoo.* He was really helpful in finding the correct size for my pants. While I found what I was looking for, I did not think this location had too much variety for men's clothing. While I did not personally experience this, I thought one of the sales associates was a bit aggressive with a customer in regards to applying for a store credit card. I get that sales associates will receive bonuses based on the number of customers that sign up for a card. After a customer says no for the second time, then the sale associate should stop. For instance, my sales associate asked if I wanted to sign up for a card, and I said no. He followed up with the typical "if you sign up for a CC, you'll save X% on today's purchase" statement. After I said no for the second, he let it go. In my opinion, that's what the other sales associate should have done. This location validates parking with a purchase, but be sure to double check that you are using the correct parking garage.

Saks in Chevy Chase is a throwback to a more genteel era. Stores like this used to have snooty…read morereputations but nowadays I always find the staff very friendly and welcoming. While the standalone men's store across the District line is now sadly gone, the third floor is now the men's department and has just a good of a selection as the old store. What I like about Saks compared to Neiman Marcus or Bloomingdales is that Saks still has a top notch, high quality private label collection of menswear basics. In addition, their sales can be great, especially on the private label clothes. The new parking lot arrangement is very odd. When you park you have to scan a QR code, pay for parking, and then Saks can give you a discount code inside that makes it free. It's a lot of steps for what used to be just handing over a validation ticket. Given that the clientele here skews quite old, I can't imagine this change has gone over well. If you are a regular customer, your sales associate can register your plate and then you don't need to go through this whole rigamarole each time.

I called their customer service about it. The wait was not too long. The customer service representative could not find anything about it. He seemed annoyed by my request. He gave me the phone number of a third party company that handles their credit card transaction to confirm whether the transaction went through or was a hold. He was ready to hang up to get rid of me. Why should I call a different company? Anyways, I did it, after being on hold for 20 minutes, the other representative was just as clueless, did not ask for any information. Once I told him it was an amex card, he told me they only handle visa and mastercard transactions. Now I need to call Saks again to find the subsidiary that handles their amex transaction?! What a horrible waste of time, and inefficient workflow. They should have audit logs in place for their representatives to access and understand what went wrong. They just had zero explanation and wasted my time for nothing.

Wear it Well is a special place mainly for the women who run and work there. Located in the heart…read moreof downtown Bethesda, this store offers middle to high-end brands in casual and work lines. Plenty of Michael Stars, 525 America Sweaters, and some other more unusual very unique boutique lines. A small store with extremely well-selected inventory. But the highlight of Wear it Well, which I feel is best for women 30 and up, is the longtime owners and employees. I walked in today, told them I wanted to toss my wardrobe out the window, and they proceeded (not overselling, not oversolicitously) to help me come up with some great ideas, good combinations, and a host of things I wouldn't have picked out b/c I'm stuck in my own dull clothing groove. They really worked with me to ensure that I found some special things, and I don't think I'll toss the clothes I bought out the window with the others b/c they do push my proverbial envelope. That's what I needed. When the economy hits hard...and even when it doesn't...I make an extra effort to shop locally. Wear it Well is the kind of carefully merchandised, very well-run boutique that will earn your loyalty. Before you drive to the mall, walk down the street and visit these great gals. Watch out...they talked me into buying an absurdly expensive belt even though I don't wear belts. You know, I think it will become one of my favorite purchases ever! Plus, it's so pricey, I'm going to wear it to sleep every night no matter what.
