The pizza at Brooklyn Square is superb. My husband Michael and I are very hard to please when it comes to pizza, so when I evaluated Brooklyn Square pizza if I could have given it 10 stars, I would have. And their Shrimp Parmesan is one of my favorites. I highly recommend Brooklyn Pizza. Believe me, you will not be disappointed. read more

Love this place! Every slice is great! My favorite is their square slice maybe they call it upside down slice. It is almost the same as L&B and I don't have to drive all the way to Brooklyn! The chicken and broccoli slice and salad slice were great too and they have sesame seed crusts which I love. Will be ordering again from them! read more

Everyone is always very nice. Food is good. good spot for rolls, heros, slices. I need to get to 85 characters. Enjoy

Heard about Brooklyn square for a while. Was told it was similar to L&B. We ordered the Sicilian with half meatball and sesame seeds. The pie was warm when it got to us but not crunchy. It was incredibly saucey. A little too much even though the sauce was delicious. The center pieces were very hard to pick up because they were so saucy. The meatball was good. I think maybe because it was delivered, the pizza got a little soggy. Next time, I'll try to get well done or pick it up instead of delivered. read more

we had called ahead and asked for 2 pies to be ready about 8pm. When we picked them up they were not fresh, so dried out and tasted awful. we ordered one plain and the other was half meatball. There were few slices of meatballs and so dried and crunchy we could not eat them. We always eat locally to support small businesses but this was really terrible. Sorry to say but we are not sure if we will be getting another pie anytime soon. read more

Super yummy pizza! I initially found this place via TGTG and decided to pop in for a slice recently. Not much to choose from and I like that. They don't focus so much on specialty slices. I had to of course try the square with the yummy cheese underneath the sauce. It was delicious! The crust was equally incredible! I ate every last bite and was dreaming about it the rest of the day. Small spot but it's clean and the staff is friendly. read more

Saw this pizzeria from across the street while I was at Fun Stuff Toys. I was starving so I ran in, grabbed 2 slices and devoured it in the car. They were grandma-style slices with spicy tomato sauce and pepperoni- so good!~Thin crispy crust and definitely had a kick to it. I went back a few weeks later and got it again but this time, the experience wasn't so great. It was around 11:30 on a Saturday, they opened at 11 and there were NO pizzas out, NOTHING was ready. They said they could make the pizza I wanted and that it would take 15 minutes so I agreed to wait. 20 minutes passed, then 25 and 30 minutes later, I finally got my 2 slices, smh. Was it worth it? NO! Come after 12 pm if you want all the types of pizza. read more

Whenever I'm visiting the Seaford area I always make a special stop at Brooklyn Square. They have a big selection of unique specialty slices, though their namesake Square slice (cheese on bottom, sauce on top - sprinkled with Parmesan) is the star of the show. The sauce is more on the sweeter side so I typically like to pair it with a spicy special slice of some kind. This past trip, I also had the Buffalo Chicken slice (spicy over the mild option) along with the Arrabiata slice, which has diced hot cherry peppers and thinly sliced spicy Italian sausage. Both are exceptional! This place is a slam dunk. read more

Was going to go to Ginos but someone we were with recommended Brooklyn Square, we went to see a movie first so I called in the order to have ready by 8:00pm Went to pick up the pizza at 7:50 and the girl saw me and started putting meatball slices on a pizza that looks like it ready over an hour ago.. We took two pizzas home and they were horrible, it was the worst pizza we ever had. We had extra slices that no one wanted so we just threw them away. Us and the other 8 people will never be back, absolutely horrible. read more

I had this pizza to go and compared it head to head with La Piazza in the area. Overall, I liked the other one a little better. It was a very saucy pizza if you're into that, and is fine when you're passing through. read more

Sorry but this pizza is not good and anybody who thinks it is knows nothing. It's like Alberts in Copaigue but the sauce is even worse. Literally the sweetest most tomatoe pasty uncooked sugary sauce flavor and just plain nasty. And on top of that they put twice as much as necessary. Now let's talk about the filth and dinginess of the place. It looks like they just gave up caring. Two thumbs down and will never be back. Wouldn't even want it for free!!! read more

We came here with a group of eight, including four kids, after an absolutely horrendous experience at another restaurant where we waited over an hour and ended up having to leave anyway considering the conditions we experienced there. With BSP, I called them to see whether they could accommodate our group on a Saturday night with no previous reservation and not only was the answer yes, but they set up a table for us and were ready for us when we got there five minutes later. Long story short, the pizza was excellent, the workers were fantastic and the experience was as good as you'll have. The only exception was that they didn't have the air on (presumably it's broken) but considering how good our experience was, I can't complain. We really enjoyed the ala vodka pizza. read more

Sliced up 1 chicken cutlet and for my hero . So pretty much sauce cheese bread and that's 1 cutlet for the whole thing not each half

Very good square slice. Tastes very much like L&B in Brooklyn, but honestly this place might be a touch better. The Brooklyn square pie I got was a little too crusty, but the crust is soft and has a great taste that I didn't mind it much. If you're a fan of this specific kind of upside-down pizza, then this is definitely a stop to put on your list. Also, solid garlic knots and cheese pizza. read more

We love their square pizza, BUT $48.00 for a Square and Regular pie delivered is a bit ridiculous! I saw online they charge a $2 delivery fee, which was confirmed when I called. Crazy part is prices all differ depending on where you look.. On their website it states (15.50 regular & $20.00 square), on their Facebook page it states (16.25 & 20.25) and on the online delivery page it's the highest at (17.25 & 21.50 PLUS the 2.00 delivery fee)!!! This in itself is bad business. **Lose the delivery fee and update your sites accordingly.** http://thebrooklynsquare.com/menu2.html#menustart https://www.facebook.com/thebrooklynsquare/photos/p.6230765140283086/6230765140283086 https://order.chownow.com/order/7782/locations/10445 read more

So happy to have this tomato pie option on Long Island (to curb my L&B cravings, iykyk). Definitely best to have it fresh - the crust is really crispy, the dough is pillowy, and the sauce has a good note of sweetness. Also very affordable! Would definitely come back. read more

Stopped in yesterday to try the upside down Sicilian slice after reading about it on Yelp. I was surprised to see there were so many positive reviews for a place in my neighborhood, that I had never tried! I was not disappointed in their square slice and am looking forward to ordering an entire square pie. I grabbed a slice of their regular circle pie too and enjoyed the very thin crust and flavorful sauce. Glad to find this little gem close to home. read more

Tried it today for the first time and drove about 40 mins to get it . I ordered over the phone it's pick up or delivery only because of the pandemic. When I ordered a nice young lady took the order , she was very polite and professional. I ordered one regular and I requested sesame crust to which , they gladly accommodated me . I also ordered a Square as well . Both were amazing and I'm so glad I decided to try it and it was worth the drive . In closing the pizza is 5 star and the employees are 5 stars as well . read more

Excellent pizza tastes just like spumoni Gardens pizza in Brooklyn. I would swear they were affiliated with spumoni Gardens L&B pizza. The taste of the sauce I could swear was L &B 's. but what ever it is this is my new place to go instead of driving all the way to Brooklyn. read more

Loooovvvveeee the square pie! I don't like red sauce but love the one on this pie! Delicious!

I've been to L&B, I've eaten at L&B, and trust me Sir you are no L&B. lol............but heck you're a whole lot closer, Decent local pizza joint with a great Grandma slice, an L&B clone Siciilian slice and........both baked AND fried calzone........the deep fried calzone becoming close to extinction, you gotta check it out before the species perishes............ The sesame seed crust, the sauce, the ample cheese it all adds up to one of the most delicious pizza places around. I always get pan fried red peppers and garlic and it comes out baked to perfection. I would def recommend this pizza to anyone! read more

Unfortunately we will not be returning! This was the second time ordering takeout. First time was a walk-in order. The Pizza was decent compared to others along Merrick. This time we phoned the order in the middle of the afternoon. I arrived after running a few errands felt I was a little late in the pickup. However when I arrived it was obvious by the reaction of counter agent that pizza order was not started. The look and hand gestures to the cook said it all! The order receipt was just hanging in the order slip rack along with another slip. The cook said something under his breath and started the prep of the pie.. In the end the pizza was under cheesed and under baked . A real disappointment. read more

My friend and I went here to sample some fake L&B spulmoni gardens and that is exactly what this is. We called in for two Sicilian pies and the guy who answered the phone and served us was really nice and friendly. He had the mets game on in the back which was great. The pies were hot and fresh and taste exactly like spulmoni gardens only not quite as good. Probably the sauce is just a bit off but it's really good and you don't have to travel all the way to Coney Island. Definitely worth the trip for some really good pizza. read more

Ordered fir delivery a few times now. they have a $40 family dinner that is great. 1/2 trays or salad, pasta & main dish with bread. food was very good. had the ch marsslla, rig vodka and salad. couldnt ask for a better quick dinner after work. very tasty and for. 40, fed me, wife & 2 kids. i dont think i ever posted about a place charging too much or anything about money as its just really about the food to me. but this is a great deal and very good food. on the down side we did try their pizza, regular & Sicilian did not care for either. id deff suggest everyone to give their family dinner a chance one night. well worth it and food was good. read more

As enthusiasts of the fabled L&B Spumoni Gardens upside-down Sicilian slice, we'd heard this place makes their version of it. We were not disappointed. It's not an exact replica...that would be similar to painting the Sistine Chapel on the head of a pin...but this is some of the best pizza we've had on the Island so far. Even the plain slices have some bite to them and are closer to a Brooklyn/Queens slice than anything we've had out here. If you can't make the trek into Gravesend, Brooklyn square Pizza's version will scratch your itch. read more

Stopped by for a quick slice. I had a regular slice. It was a big slice and fairly priced at $2.75. The crust was thin and crispy. Definitely a good regular-style crust. Lots of sauce and cheese. I'd say 25% more sauce and 50% more cheese than slices at most places. It made for a thick slice. Lots of caramelized cheese too. It looked like a French onion soup. read more

Had the square pie in the past, enjoyed in more a couple years ago. To me it was like the Spinoni Gardens squares when I used to get them 15 years ago. When I came back to New York it was on my list of first things to get. But this time it didn't hit the spot. Flavors were not as I remembered them. Did my taste buds change or did the pizza???? Next time I come back to New York, I can take it or leave it. I think it was $18.00 or so but a 12 slice pie. So like $1.50 a slice when you buy a pie. Not too shabby at least. read more

My first experience here. I visited because a few people recommended I give it a try because their pizza was pretty close to L & B Spumoni Gardens in Brooklyn. Well I have to say it definitely was pretty close in taste, and the best part was I didn't have to deal with the parking lot otherwise known as the Belt Parkway to get there. It's still not L & B, but it will satisfy your craving for that style of pizza if you don't feel like trekking it all the way to Brooklyn. read more

I don't know but it wasn't the same as it usually is. The pizza tasted old and the soda system was not working. The ices looked like a hot mess too. I used to love it and I don't know I guess off day. read more

I have only been to this pizzeria once(after being at Vision of Cedar Creek) and the pizza was good. The cooler had a decent variety of sodas. The pizzas were pretty standard(I only had plain) and the Gelato was good as well. I would say it was pretty close to Ralph's(Italian Ices) for the water ices. What is listed on the menu however isn't always what they have. What is written of the glass is the flavors they have. read more
