This is my favorite burger restaurant in Warsaw…read more It is quite far away from my regular places downtown Warsaw but with the metro or car it's easy to reach at metro marymont and a trip there is always worth it. Especially in summer time they have a nice garden at the edge of a park. The burgers are always fresh and perfectly grilled. The bread is home baked and just perfectly soft. The range of burgers goes from normal cheese burger over goat cheese and veggie burger. I recommend a classic bacon cheese burger but all other varieties are possible. Smacznego!

Really nice burger place. Kitchen is small and the biergarten is very attractive (therefore busy)…read moreso the service is quite slow, but the burgers are worth the wait. The only reason i don't give this place 5 stars is because the burger patty was just way too salty. Still delicious, super thick bacon, home made bbq sauce, but damn, so salty! I will be back though to try the steaks.

Wow. What a pleasant experience I had here from the cocktails, entree and dessert. Absolutely…read moredelicious! I sat at the bar area and enjoyed a Malva Negra cocktail while I waited for my food order to arrive. It was the waitresses recommendation based on my mention of not preferring sweet drinks. The infusion of blueberry and lavender was surprisingly more balanced and didnt tip the scale towards the sweeter side. (So I ended ordering another towards the end of the meal). Now for the food...I was just blown away. I ordered the special which was a large pork chop with some plum sauce concoction that I cannot describe other than being subtly savory and sweet but an absolutely perfect complement to the hefty, juicy and tender bone-in pork chop. I was already full at this point since I finished it all but the waitress did highly recommend the panna cotta dessert which I'm so glad I gave in and ordered it. It was topped with a black sesame sauce with bits of pistachio. Additionally, there was a portion of what looked like/tasted like dragons beard but it added another layer of depth to the already superb dish. The ambiance is a mix of cozy, trendy and elegant which can be more casual or more formal depending on your occasion. I came in around 2pm so I must've missed the lunch rush since I heard this place gets some longer wait times. As for the staff, the waitress and bartender were both extremely attentive and friendly. They both would always check in to see if I was enjoying the food and if there was anything else I needed/wanted. This place came very highly recommended by a local in Warsaw and I experienced why :)

Real local Poles were eating, drinking, and socializing here too. My young handsome waiter was friendly and spoke English well, he even let me taste two different wines before me settling on a decision. 33PLN/$8.25 Carmelized fried feta with Ramiro peppers, olives, lemon salsa, and seasonings. Fresh, fragrant and delicious. 26PLN/$6.20 Roasted Brussel Sprouts, ricotta, caramelized onions, sun dried tomatoes...also fresh, fragrant and delicious. 24PLN/$6 glass of wine. I highly recommend visiting Poland, you get so much for your American dollar! This was a great meal for only $21ish! I could've easily eaten more, but being my last night In Poland I decided to find some meat pierogis, my new favorite thing. Also in Poland, taxes are already included in the price, and tipping is not required! Though I always tipped a 8PLN/$2 or more if service was good, as it certainly was here.

So I don't know what kind of rubbish the lady from Gothenburg, Sweden is talking about. I simply had the Bam burgers, 2 of 'em for around 35 zlotys...it's somewhat expensive but just for a first timer, it's worth it! Moreover, I liked that piggy painting on the wall! The fries here are so-so so I wouldn't recommend eating too much of it even with the A1 steak sauce offered. Servers were very nice and kind and helpful! That made my stay a lot more happy!

We ordered the Dirty Harry burger to share (if you dont plan to share, you better come with an appetite because their burgers are yuuuuuuge). The burger was delicious, but the "remoulade" topping was a little sweet, which I wasnt expecting. I didnt grab a photo of the burger (d'oh!), but I DID take a picture of their "texas spice mix" decor, which is a jar filled with bullet casings bc 'murica. If you're in Warsaw, definitely visit. Our Air BNB host said he thought that Barn Burger was the best restaurant in the city.

It has some of the best french fries /sauces. dont be misled…read moreby the photos, they are rather solid and a bit crispy than loose, i love their sauces, the aioli sauce is fantastic and gives the sense that they made it by themselves, The french fries are smaller than it seems and find the "bucket" that they're being served at to be quite misleading by size, still though, it is a fine portion for the price. Their chili sauce is the only real spicy thing i actually find in warsaw, recommend on taking an extra sauce for 2 zloty, they are all good, one sauce is too small for a portion. 2 sauces are being quite great for variety and quality rather than stomach-stacking (which i find easily in many other places in that case)

I've expected so much better from this place. Everything about it is average…read more it's a big, 2 floor place located in the center of Warsaw. Easy to find. Small outdoor space. The staff is very nice. We got 2 burgers: (not so) hot bacon and blue cheese(without blue cheese - that's what we asked for). and fries. The meat was not seasoned at all. Some might like it but I think that burgers are all about well flavored meat. The buns were ok. Fries were the worst part - mushy and greasy. The only thing that I really enjoyed at Miedzy Bulkami is lemonade. Both classic and basil were very good. Burgers are stll a hit in Poland but here they are average.

I wanted to like this place especially as I love Hungarian food and so here is what worked:…read moreAppetizers were good indeed and we have tried three of them: flavorful pepper cream served with bacon and sweet potato chips, pepper infused lard with home baked bread as well as fried flatbread called langosz. All good here but frankly, how difficult are these to make? Our mains were disappointing: my goulash soup was very watery and with no discernible taste which was not helped by meager pieces of pork meat with a lot of fat floating in it. We also had pork knuckle, which was a-ok again, bland and served with a lot of greasy fries: we only ate some and nothing to write home about. This was accompanied by an outrageously expensive glass of wine, which was good but at $25/glass really overpriced as fas as Hungarian wines go. All in all this is not a great choice for me. Maybe it was our choice of food but I am not encourage to come back to test it again.

This is exactly the situation at Shipudei Berek, a modern Israeli restaurant run by a passionate chef who wanted to bring a piece of Tel Aviv to Warsaw! I just can't emphasize how great this restaurant is--from the trendy modern decor, the friendly service, the videos of life & food in Israel playing in the background, and yes, the delicious food, Shipudei Berek is just bomb! The thing I loved the most was the mezze spread--10 different dishes of freshly prepared appetizers that come with every skewer entree: cabbage, tzatziki, red sumac onions, spicy carrots, shredded carrots, beets, grated tomato, tahini, hummus with chili, and pickled cucumbers & chilies! Every mezze dish was so fresh and seasoned so perfectly--if I had to pick a favorite, it would be the dreamy, creamy hummus, which just goes perfectly with the pita bread that comes on the side! On top of the mezze, we also got an order of the octopus shipud, which were four pieces of octopus marinated and grilled on skewers! This was delicious as well, though I'd probably suggest getting another protein, since the octopus came out a bit burnt using this preparation. I also got a freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, which had some of the whole arils floating on top! Delicious! Come, come, come to Shipudei Berek, and if I haven't given you enough reasons, here's one more: the prices are an absolute steal for the quality of food and the overall experience! At one point, our waitress noticed that our skewers were taking a while to arrive, so she asked us if we wanted extra mezze and refilled our requested plates for free!
