I loved the 'live' plant wall and calming music in the waiting area. Dr. Neuman has incredible bedside manner and explained everything my visit would entail before proceeding. He wasn't trying to offer me unnecessary procedures and made feel completely comfortable. I'm looking forward to going back and already recommended his office to my Mom. This wise woman who said this was me from the future talking to me now. For convenience of location and the smiling faces of the employees on their listing, I went with Parkside Dental. And pictures do not lie.* Everyone was professional and friendly. The receptionist was patient with me over the phone while I tried to open the gate. It was simple - just push. And upon arrival, I was checked in immediately to a clean, quiet, air-conditioned office. The friendliness of the team extended to the back of house as well. Once I got to the exam chair, there was more patience and friendly banter - among the staff members and with me. The dentist himself (forgive me for not remembering any names - I went a few weeks ago) was all smiles and patched the tooth I chipped a while back when I bit too hard on a mango slice and my tooth hit the fork. How will people know I love mango slices if I don't have the chipped tooth to prove it? I may have to put a mango emoji in my Instagram bio instead. And you know what? Turns out that's okay with me if it means I have more confidence in my smile. And I do. My teeth were whiter after the cleaning, too. I kept running my tongue over my teeth to revel in the way it glided over everything so smoothly. I was out in a pretty decent amount of time considering the work done, and felt really good about the place. They sent me home with an Oral B toothbrush (I may switch brands now) and a travel-size toothpaste. Delicious in its own way, like a free product should be. I rate this visit five tooth emojis! And I'll be back. *I stand by my statement. Pictures don't lie, but sometimes people do, and then they augment photographs

Throughout my treatment, Dr. Milito and her entire team could not have been more caring, understanding and supportive. When I had an emergency, she came into the office on her day off to make me presentable again. She advocated for me when I felt that I was stuck on the back burner by the rest of my dental team. I'm thrilled with the final results, and I love my new smile. I now call Dr. Milito my "Dental Doula." If you are looking for a dentist who truly cares, has a sense of humor and will take as long as necessary to explain the work, Dr. Milito is the one. I recommend her highly!

They're not super aggressive about it, but they're also not super open about the pricing, insurance coverage, or necessity. Most recently, the dentist told me that there was a note in my file that I'd asked about a retainer and/or night guard, which absolutely not true. (I did not know they did retainers for adults.) I've also had issues with my insurance covering their X-rays, given the frequency they suggest. I think they're good! But I'd go in with some skepticism.

Once I paid for my procedure, the staff member Chloe never returned my credit card or gave me a receipt, which I realized after leaving. I called the following day only for Chloe to adamantly tell me she returned my card, and ultimately that she did not know where it was. Thankfully another employee, Samantha, stepped in and discovered Chloe mistakenly gave my credit card to another patient. This is a serious security concern that should never happen. Rather than initally taking ownership of the mistake, Chloe was dismissive, had a poor attitude, and failed to follow up. A healthcare office should inspire confidence, not concern. Because of the front desk employee's carelessness and the security issue involving my credit card, I cannot recommend this office in good faith.
