Stopped in for breakfast bagel before a flight at LAX. Great tasting bagel breakfast sandwich. Their coffee is good too. Clean place with fast service & nice staff.

Just look at this Tuna Melt, absolutely amazing, the owner David is present and helping, with everything and talking to all the tables! What a friendly guy! I love places where the owner is engaged in his company and staff!

Always AMAZING fresh bagels. I will continue to come here even in traffic. I wish they sold their Brooklyn infusion coffee by the gallon because it is FIRE!!!!!! The staff is so friendly. The bagels are top on list. Do not even compare them to the lame chains these bagels are the BEST!!!!!

Tuna & American cheese on a toasted plain bagel

The bagels are huge compared to other bagel shops. Literally twice the size! You get a great value for what you order there. They are as close to NY type bagels as you can get on the west coast. They are tasty and toast up nicely. I had a plain toasted bagel with tuna and American cheese and it was a pretty good size sandwich. Their prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. They served pickles with my order. The cream cheese was delicious. I even bought some bagels and a container of cream cheese to take home. The quality of the smoked salmon (lox) was excellent. I wish they also offered some side dishes like potato salad or macaroni salad. I believe they only have hash browns. Customer service was outstanding! They were super friendly and really wanted to make sure we were happy with everything which we were! The restaurant has ample seating indoors. There is plenty of parking in the back parking lot.

Nice sandwich shop where I've found they are so much more than just bagels. It's a good place for a quick lunch pickup. I do enjoy a good breakfast sandwich on a bagel and their "Brooklyn Breakfast Sandwich" is really good and filling - it sustained me through the whole day. Their Pastrami Ruben on rye is also good with their spicy mustard, as is their Tuna Melt. I couldn't finish mine in one sitting so I split it and save half for dinner. After taxes and top, Sandwiches average $15@ - which seems to be the going price anywhere these days.

Garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese

I will give them credit for not having a tip line on the credit card reader. That is refreshing. I would love to give a hearty thumbs up to their bagels, but... I'm afraid middle of the road is the best I can do. The garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese ($5) was more, I don't know, bread roll-like than I expected. Garlic flavor was subtle, and they forgot to toast it (or toasted it extremely lightly). Scallion cream cheese was good. They were busy, so perhaps they appeal to others' tastes more than mine. Worth a try.

Here at Brooklyn Bagels, a bagel's a bagel. Nothing super special but they at least had an option for me to choose from. As someone that's plant-based, the only spread they had for me was using avocados. I therefore ordered an everything bagel with avocados and added mushrooms and sautéed spinach. The amount of avocado they gave was honestly laughable and the sandwich felt very dry overall. My friend ordered a cream cheese bagel with fixings that made it much heartier. Fortunately, she was able to take the red onions and tomatoes on the side and gave them to me, which amped up my sandwich ten-fold. If you have friends ordering a heartier sandwich sans certain ingredients, ask to have them sidelined and given to you instead. Overall, it's a safe bagel shop but not one I'd be running back to anytime soon.

LAX bagel/Sandwich shop. Made my own sandwich; ham, pepper jack, mustard, sourdough bread, extra pickles, and lettuce. Tasty! Got a bag a sour cream and onion kettle chips, tasty.

They need a new name because a real Brooklyn bagel shop would NEVR serve stale bagels from the day before at 7:30am. Truly appalling.

I don't know why this place opens early if they don't have bagels already ready to go come past 7 AM because they don't have bagels out yet

Is this still Brooklyn Water Bagel? Are the bagels still made using the "Brooklynized" water?

Yes - exactly the same. Recently there was some construction going on with the building itself - nothing to do with the bagels or restaurant as far as I was told; general upgrading.… Read more

I was staying Nextdoor at Hyatt House LAX, and walked over to Jersey Mikes to grab some food around 6pm. There was plenty of parking, some indoor tables, and ample outdoor seating for a large sum of customers. at 6pm there were a steady stream of persons employed at LAX coming in to order food though during my visit this did not result in a notable wait to put in my order verbally. my choice the Jersey Mike Cheese Steak, I order a large but a regular would have been a more realistic serving size given that although the sandwich was very good and loaded with meat, and grilled bell peppers, and onions it was far to much food for a single meal for me. Overall the staff were pleasant, the sandwich prepared well, I would happily come back to this Jersey Mikes location.

I believe it was roast beef and provolone. We had it "Mike's Way" mostly, cut up so it's easy to eat. The service was fantastic, it was a football day and they just rolled through the orders with care and hospitality. They have sitting inside and outside that has a hedge around it, we decided to eat outside. They have fountain drinks, we ordered regular sizes and some mini cookies that were freshly baked. They topped off our great value lunch. We would definitely go again!
