I ordered a small Droopy and a small chocolate stuffed. The line behind us continued to grow, but it wasn't unusually long. As we waited, people who had ordered after us began receiving their snowballs before we did. At first, I didn't think much of it because that can happen from time to time. However, when the entire line behind us had received their orders and we still hadn't gotten ours, I started to become frustrated. After waiting more than 20 minutes and seeing that there was no longer anyone in line, I politely went to the window and asked if our order had been forgotten. The girl at the window didn't say anything, made a face, and walked off. When she came back, she told me they had just started working on our order. I understand that mistakes happen, but an apology or acknowledgment would have been appreciated. We finally received our snowballs about 10 minutes later. The only thing said to us was a very monotone, "Sorry for the wait." I completely understand that employees can get overwhelmed during a busy rush, but it wasn't busy at that point, and no customer should have to wait that long only to feel dismissed when asking a simple question about their order. I'm not writing this to be hateful or dramatic because I understand that things happen. It was simply a frustrating experience, and I believe the situation could have been handled much better. I will still return to Droopy's because I've had many positive experiences there, but I hope the way the window operates improves.
