The office manager, Jessica, is personable and professional. She will go out of her way to help you . The activities director , Tobias, plans a variety of activities and celebrations that will engage your loved one throughout the year. It's a small facility, yet , charming and peaceful. read more
My siblings and I are thinking of moving our mother to NC. We toured the Memory Care facility at Brookdale Meadowmont. We had such good feelings when we left, as if we had just visited friends in their home. It's a small facility, only 8 bedrooms, so it didn't give you that warehoused feeling. The residents were either sitting around on the couch and chairs in the "living room" area or doing something in their room. We were warmly greeted by several residents. When the activity director started playing his guitar we all joined in singing and had a great time. There is a garden out back where the residents can plant in the spring in raised beds. A screened in porch they can sit out in in nice weather. Each room has it's own bathroom, and the room's are good sizes with 2 closets.
If our mother does move to NC this is the place she would call home. read more
