First I would like to take a moment to acknowledge Ashleigh, Haneef, Pedro P, Sopanny, Maunavie,…read moreStacy A, Cyrus, Amera, Yulissa, Manila, Ranveet, Abid, Jessirene, Lisa, Mandeep, Paul, Tina, Alicia, Cindy, and anyone else who has taken care and who is currently taking care of my FIL. This is his FOURTH stay here at this location. He has vascular dementia, is blind, and has Alzheimer's as well as a few other medical issues. Each time he ends up in the hospital and then we request for him to come here to this facility until he is strong enough once again to come back home so my husband and myself can take care of him. My FIL has been gradually declining in health, mainly in his mind and getting more difficult to care for and a lot of times makes it hard to want to care for him but everyone here at the facility is very good with him and have so much patience with him. He is not always easy to take care of and regardless if Don is having a good moment or bad someone is always here to lend a hand. I know some people would say it's "their job and what they get paid to do" however we can see these people care about their patient's needs. The center has always been clean and nurses have always been available anytime we have questions to ask whether it be lab results, doctor appts and getting the transport assigned for them to take Don to these appointments outside the facility. We have recommended this facility to many of our family and friends and will continue to do so. My MIL was also here at one point while my FIL was here as well. We have been a few places, and this by far has been the one place where we can leave from visiting our dad and feel safe knowing when we aren't here, he is getting cared for and we need not worry. I myself have been in the medical field for years and see these cna's ,nurses, PT/OT, doctors concerned about everyone and treat them as people and not just numbers. Even down to admissions, kitchen staff, and janitorial workers, everyone has been caring and helpful! The food here has been pretty good too. Also they have daily/weekly activities for everyone here as well and celebrate holidays for those that are here and can't be home with their loved ones. There are patios to sit outside and get fresh air as well as a large room in front of the facility where if we have a few visitors at once we will take our friends and family into for more private visits. This is also the room that is used for celebrations and pot lucks. The rehabilitation room is also decent size and has everything to assist someone to build up strength etc. (See pictures included with this post) Don will be coming back home soon. However, we know he will need care like this again at some point (unfortunately these visits are getting closer together as his disease progresses) and both Jason and I find extreme comfort in knowing we can call Lodi Skilled Nursing & Rehab again for our father's needs when the time comes.

Ashliegh did not give up when the insurance company said no and she knew it was a yes. The physical and occupational therapy was on point, they help me build my strength and taught me how to navigate stairs so I could go back home. The Director of Nursing, Hansen Khan, RN has a great team of RN's, LVN and CNA's that work at station 1. They took pride in the care they given to their patients. Mr. Haneff made sure he let the patients know they could come to him if they have any concerns with the nursing staff. I want to mention the womb care staff, the kitchen staff also was on point. I really liked how the patients can get their hair, and nails done, i love the daily activities they have. I thought it was cool how they included all the patients in celebration by walking through the halls and in patients rooms like Halloween for example they dressed up.My issues was the food was not great and certain times of the day it gets cold. Overall the care I received was nice. Would I go back if needed, yes I would.

Adventist Health, these are the kinds of employees that you pray and hope you're lucky enough to obtain and retain. PA Chris was the perfect combination of personable, professional, and genuinely empathetic. I felt completely safe under his care as this gentleman just gives the energy that no matter what happens, I'm going to be OK and he is on it and he is going to make decisions that are thought out and in my best interest. He absolutely goes above and beyond and this hospital is very lucky to have him as such an asset. What a kind soul this man is. RN Patrick makes you wonder if he's even real because it's so rare nowadays to come across medical staff who genuinely care about making sure that you feel OK and that you're doing alright. He has a wonderful bedside manner, and a sense of humor that is a breath of fresh air. I do wish that I wasn't so miserable and feeling at my lowest when interacting with him because I think I could definitely banter and joke back-and-forth with that gentleman for days. Radiology Technician Nathan again, one of those rare gems. Someone who just takes that one extra step to show patients that he cares about how they're feeling. He had such a warmness about him. I'm so glad that I got to interact with these amazing staff because when I was in the waiting room waiting to see if the triage nurse, I was hunched over in a wheelchair, groaning and crying and shaking and pain as the triage nurse sat at her desk just having a long unprofessional conversation with a coworker who was on his break while I in the waiting room waiting for her to even address me. That was one of the worst feelings. I'm just sitting there suffering and seeing that it didn't matter at all to the person that you were relying on most in that moment to help you.

I came here because my loved one was feeling beyond ill and needed medical attention. Let's just say that a lot of things were spiraling out of control that made the visit extremely unpleasant. There were a lot of negatives. CONS: - Asked the triage nurse Mackenzie for a blanket for my loved one due to feeling cold, and didn't assist with providing one. - Because a blanket was not offered initially, I had to take my loved one outside in the heat in the interim. - After I stepped back inside, I saw another patient getting a blanket from the front desk associate. Very frustrating because my loved one was not provided one when requested. - Took nearly 3 hours to be seen by an MD. The emergency doctor was by the name of Dr. Tayler Strange. She mentioned that she was the only ER doctor working and everyone was working as fast as they could. - Dr. Strange didn't fully list out all of the medical concerns and chief complaints for my loved one on the medical chart, which caused a discrepancy with the medical staff/nurses. - Dr. Strange also promised to issue certain medication to my loved one and it never happened. My loved one was experiencing excruciating pain and a lot of distress. We requested an urgent message to be sent to Dr. Strange to rectify this situation. It took such a long time to get the medication. Then, the visit got much worse. Dr. Strange falsely accused me of recording her when explaining all of the health concerns verbally about my loved one. I was ONLY simply taking and typing NOTES on my phone. Why was there a reason to record? It was reported to security and the charge nurse, and they both asked me to show my phone. After this incident of being falsely accused, there was no sort of sympathy or apology. Just extremely rude about how they went about the situation. Then, the charge nurse almost threatened me to go back to the lobby area because of how I was feeling about the entire situation. Emphasis on "strange" as a whole. This hospital got us messed up times 10 exponentially. If this is the way they operate in treating individuals, especially with medical care neglect, refusal of blankets, and false accusations without any apology for their wrongdoing, then we refuse to come back to this entity. Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is a practice that is the epitome of unethical, immoral standards. If I could on Yelp, NO STARS! BEWARE!
