I am writing to share my experience with this rehabilitation facility regarding the care of my…read moreloved one. Unfortunately, the level of care provided was deeply concerning and did not meet basic standards of dignity and hygiene. On multiple occasions, my loved one was left in bed for extended periods in soiled conditions without timely assistance from staff. This is not only unacceptable but raises serious concerns about patient care and oversight. Additionally, the quality of food provided was consistently poor, both in presentation and nutritional value. Proper nutrition is a critical part of recovery, and this aspect of care appeared to be neglected. I understand that healthcare environments can be busy, but there is no excuse for compromising a patient's basic needs and dignity. I strongly urge management to review staff practices, improve patient care standards, and ensure accountability moving forward. Not only the fact that my loved one had to come back to the hospital for another surgery due to non proper care her incision got in infected. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to prevent other families from experiencing similar issues.

Came for a visit mid-morning. I have never seen a community of seniors sooo quiet!!! They do not…read morelike to use the word "quiet" for whatever reason. And very little socialization took place upon visiting. Perhaps they all like to keep to themselves? But, the place looks very pristine and clean. Only 2-3 staff members were there upon visiting. The med tech was not there for me to answer any questions but someone is supposed to be on staff all the time?? So, a minus for that. Oh and they had one more person doing activities. As for care: they do all the residents laundry and dispense medications. According to the brochure, they provide different types of care depending on the person's needs. At first glance, it would seem that you would need to be semi-independent to live there with minimal assistance like food and med management but more assistance would cost more. They have nice regular closets and full baths that are ADA making it feel like home. So, if you are considering sending your loved one here... I would pop in and out a few more times just to be sure and bring your loved one with you.

He has shown me, often in little ways, things to do to ease pain, that no one had told me about before...that have helped! He also suggested a home-help product I didn't think I needed (but turns out I do), that will help me shower more safely. I have been so impressed w/ everyone from Blossom Ridge. Personal Care (Grade C): Aide was inflexible regarding scope of care, refusing basic help with a meal despite the patient's physical weakness. Emotional and Spiritual Support Counseling (Grade F): Minimal contact and zero emotional support. The social worker was dismissive, suggested the patient use briefs instead of the bathroom for caregiver convenience, and eventually stopped visits entirely, citing the VA as a reason to disengage.
