Who knew just 6 colors can create a beautiful imagery of calm and peace. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire 3 + hour class. We arranged a time for me to pick up the cards and when I came to pick them up, they were in the middle of a class and the set up was so adorable. All of the art on display was very cute and I could tell that they really do some unique and fun art projects here. The owner was very kind and I was able to observe the class while making my payment. I think this is the perfect place for young artists. I definitely recommend getting a certificate as a gift option or treating your child to a class or hosting a party here.

After several hours of trying, and failing at home, I decided to wait until the next time I had class. When I got to class and asked for help, within fifteen minutes--literally--Melanie taught me the applicable knowledge, and some great advice that allowed me to immediately improve the painting to a satisfying outcome. The owners,…read moreAlex and Paulina, have extensive backgrounds in art and are committed to teaching students in the traditional academic style -- as opposed to simply letting kids draw and have fun, as I have seen at many other studios. At the same time, they are very skilled at building rapport with children, no matter how young. My 8-year-old daughter attended a different studio before, where she had fun and produced some nice-looking projects, but the teachers told me she was too young to be truly taught anything. Luckily, that is not the case here. Since she joined in the fall of 2025, we have seen real progress in how she approaches and understands art techniques. I am happy to see that she enjoys it, too. They work with all kinds of materials, including clay, and hold an annual exhibition at the end of the year. We are happy to be part of the studio and look forward to watching our daughter grow.
