First time experience of spray tanning. I have nothing to compare to. I would give a 5 star for how the tan turned out. I got compliments on my glowy tan. However 3 star for costumer service. When booking the appointment, no pre spray tan directions regarding shaving, exfoliating etc... Also with post spray tan barely any directions on what to do other than shower in 3 hrs and no soap for 24 hrs. Looking through some of these reviews, I noticed that they have tips of before and after spray tan service on their website which was hard to find before my service. Wish they informed me to read it prior. Felt sticky the whole 3 hrs. I couldn't wait to shower. The gal that sprayed me said the stickiness goes away in 30 mins. Also when looking online at their menu says organic rapid spray is $55 but at check out the day of its $60 for the rapid spray tan service. They need to update their website. Also was not offered the complimentary Bellini that other people spoke about. read more

Came here for the good reviews and the aesthetic of the place so I had no doubts I'd wake up with an amazing spray tan. I was very careful getting home and showered right at the correct time. This is what I woke up to. My hands are super spotty you can see the spray dots, and I don't really need to explain what else is going just look at the pictures. I tried tricks to smooth it out but didn't work. I just have to say I've gotten spray tans before and it's been much much more even and even more natural color and no smell. I ended up being late to my event out of panic trying to scrub this. Thank god I'm not getting married or anything super special though otherwise I'd be beside myself. Not satisfied. Both my boyfriend and I came to bronzed bunny for sugaring and we both loved it! The customer service was impeccable! We were greeted and offered drinks. (def try the guava bellini! It was so good!) From the moment you walk in, you're immediately blown away by the salon's decor. It's elegant, well furnished, and there's even a little boutique in the right corner. You can browse dainty accessories, sunglasses, or bikinis before/after your appointment. Being the prompt person that I am, I arrived 15 minutes prior to my sugaring appointment. The two girls in the front were really funny and offered me a Bellini while I waited. It was a nice touch, because it's not the usual champagne glass or water bottle like other salons. Larissa greeted me five minutes earlier than my scheduled time slot and guided me to my private sugaring room. Along the way, there are comical sayings on the walls - for example "clothes optional beyond this point" or "don't forget your underwear." I loved that because it made the experience all the more enjoyable. What is sugaring ?!? Sugaring is literally just a mixture of lemon, sugar, and water. It's a hair removal technique that doesn't rip off the layers of your skin like traditional waxing and is far less painful. Typically, I like to go every 3-4 weeks and obviously, you get to know the person you're helping really well, since you are naked haha, but not completely!!! Just the waist down. Larissa and I talked about Thanksgiving food and future vacations. She was very easy going, funny, and made the whole experience for me. Afterwards, she gave me a little kit to use with aftercare instructions. Next time, I'm going to book a spray tan + sugar, since I found out you can do those two services within the same visit. I have been coming to this location for about 3 years for all of my spray tan and sugaring needs. Staff is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable for your appointment. The place itself is very cute and who can turn down a peach bellini? My spray tans tend to last about 7 days if i take care of it (moisturizing, not in too much water). I also use their bronzing lotion to help extend the life of my tan as well. I have never had any streaking or spots or any type of imperfections after getting one. They also do a great job of ensuring that the bronzer doesn't cake onto your wrists or get in your cuticles because that stuff is not cute! read more

I got some sugaring done and honestly not worth the price. She left a bunch of hairs which i had to go home and pluck if i'm lying $120 i expect to be cleaned u. She rushed through the entire thing and was very rough, im not new to sugaring but i was in extreme pain. i woke up next morning extremely red and irritated which has never happened before. I will not be coming back here again. update 10/29: Rachel had contacted me and offered me credit and a gift card so i accepted and rebooked with her and went today. She did really well and left no hair behind which was definitely worth it in my opinion so i highly recommend her. I wasn't fully given credit as promised and was only given underarms free. i'm not sure if they had forgotten since it was so long ago since this review and i haven't been able to go back due to life being so busy but i also have no proof of that happening since it was over the phone. read more

I had a wedding to attend and needed a quick tan. I was excited to try this spot but sadly, it was one of the worst customer service and spray tan techniques I have received. I gave it two stars because the tan color got better the lighter it got and lasted, and their interior decor is cute, but the rooms could've been cleaner including the bathroom which the garbage can was overflowing to the brim. I was 5 min late to my appt and the girl who did my tan didn't even introduce herself to me, just told me to follow her and didn't ask if it was my first time (which it was) I had to tell her. She also asked if I wanted the express tan or the regular tan, but failed to let me know the express tan would cost extra. I mentioned to her I wanted a "glow" not too dark. It was darker than expected even though I washed it off after a couple of hours. While I used the hair dryer to dry off after, it would remain very wet for a couple of hours. As such it stained parts of my light colored car and my cream tote bag I was carrying. Needless to say I was not happy about that. I would say it was fairly messy overall, super sticky and very wet, even after rinsing it off before bed it still stained my sheets as well as smelled till the next dad. The worst part was the spray technique, as I wore the disposable underwear she offered me and she didn't make any attempts to help me adjust it, but rather sprayed right over results f in a big white uneven patch on my backside. Was in and out of there in under 10 min without much instruction other than "it's normal to be sticky and wet and rinse off in a few hours." It was Just felt like she didn't care and I was just another number to put into a room. Which is wild because you feel quite vulnerable being so naked in front of a stranger. She didn't even tell me to check out when I was done, because she wasn't there, she had already moved on to her next customer. A different girl in the front checked me in as she saw how unsure I was and then asked if I wanted to tip... I really didn't because I was not thrilled with my experience but felt bad and gave her 10% and then found out the "express" tan cost extra. I left paying for a messy, sticky couldn't wait to get home to wash it off tan for $60. I felt the girl who sprayed just plainly did not care about my experience, I won't be coming back. read more

I am so disappointed. I have been a client for YEARS and i am no stranger to how great they are, except for today. My appointment was at 6:15pm and i drove from work from LA to make my appointment on time and i was running a little behind so i called to let them know and no one answered. I walked in SIX MINUTES late and was turned away because they had a 6:30 appointment (who hadn't even arrived yet). I stopped going to Sugar & Bronzed because of this reason and found Bronzed Bunny and was so thankful they were not so strict on their late policy. Traffic happens and i would understand if i was 10,15 or 20 minutes late... but i was six minutes late and their next client was not even there yet. Someone could have called me if they were in that big of a time crunch to let me know they needed to move me or reschedule me... but no one called and I EVEN CALLED THEM to let them know i was running behind and no one answered. It's obvious to me that this pad has been used on every client for some time, possibly months or even years, not only was it black with old tan, but there was a disturbing green mold looking substance all over it. Loving my summer glow spray tan from STEPHANIE! Literally makes me feel 100xs better when I'm at the salon all day working in front of a mirror. I stay out of the sun for the most part to keep my skin healthy but I just need the tan! You have to go see Stephanie. She is so sweet and personable and has great customer service. No snotty attitude from her, just an awesome spirit about her that makes you feel so comfortable when you are dressing down to the nude! I'm Hawaiian and naturally have a darker skin tone, but ladies we all know what it's like to have uneven skin tone. I would give it 5 stars but I went in last week and my appt was at 8:15 I got there earlier they rescheduled me to 8:00 but I didn't get taken until 8:20 it's fine but it was with someone I hadn't tried before (Kori) and she had really hot sugar and in order to thicken it up she spread it on my thigh close to my bikini line and kept going over the same spot over and over until it cooled and thickened.
