This was the absolute worst tanning place I have been to in all of my life I am so disappointed- I booked an appointment to get a spray tan at the Costa Mesa Newport location right away I got a text message the day of my appointment by someone asking if I could come in two hours earlier than I was planning- I said yes I am moving my schedule around and when I got there every single girl didn't even acknowledge me when I entered. they were so rude and every single girl was on her phone or either talking to each other I waited for five minutes until somebody took me in the back to spray me- Does spray was completely uneven and while I was standing there drying off one of the girls was pounding on the door asking me to hurry up!!!!!! Like are you joking me? I'm a paying customer and I'm getting rushed out of a salon in Newport Beach!?? The next day the manager texted me and asked me how my treatment went I sent her a picture of that ugly orange disgusting streaky spray tan and I told her how all the girls were snotty and rude to me all she did was say I please come in and I'll re-spray you !! And then when I went into the salon they said they didn't have an appointment booked for me absolute chaos this was the worst customer service and spray tan and business I have ever seen I was super disappointed because the bronze bunny and Sherman Oaks was a lot nicer and a lot cleaner I don't know if it's the same owner but if you can avoid this location I definitely recommend it If I'm paying over $100 to have a spray tan I'm not paying $100 to look like a six-year-old kid sprayed me with orange dye and I look like a tiger with streaks all over me. The first three photos are me getting sprayed with one coat , I went back got sprayed again to even it out. But the girl shae failed to not spray me twice over the driest areas which are hands and feet. The other photos are me today and I'm not even tan except for my hands and feet. Prior to this appointment I went with makeala and the tan barely developed. This is the third time I come in and the tan isn't even and not dark at all. They refuse to give me my money back for the last appointment. This isn't fair and I live far and still chose to give them a try. I deserve to get my money back for both services!! I always drive down there been going for awhile now and I've been a loyal client. I am very disappointed and i don't think it's fair that they don't want to give me my money back even if we had any sort of "agreement" I keep giving them another chance and this keeps happening it's not okay! read more

Yayyy! I came here about 4 weeks ago for a test spray tan as it was my first time. I did the medium-light because I am pretty fair and the color lasted about 2.5 weeks. It was a little streaky under my arms but it could've been sweat (who knows...but the spray was light so it really wasn't noticeable). I have an event this weekend so I came in tonight for my 2nd spray tan. I was recommended Vanessa by a close friend and I thought she was great! Very thorough and attentive. She helped me through the scale of shades and I went with the medium-dark. I came home and I feel my spray tan is very even and exactly the color I wanted. Overall the salon is very clean. They have a little section with cute accessories and clothing for purchase. The staff is nice and they offer you drinks. I would definitely recommend giving it a try if you haven't. They also have a great promo for first-timers- 2 sessions for $60 (a steal in my opinion). Will be returning! Xx read more

Update! Just wanted to give another 5 stars to Brooke Mooney as well - Brooke has sprayed me a few times over the past few weeks and just like Elise, Brooke never disappoints! I also just tried the BB Sculpt with Brooke and I'm so impressed with the results so far. The BB Sculpt is ice and wood therapy that contours the body and gets rid of toxins in the body (think lymphatic drainage massage). I've been wanting to try the BB Sculpt for awhile and I'm so glad I finally did it yesterday (I did my stomach and sides) because the results so far are incredible. When I arrived at BB, Brooke explained the whole process to me, how it works, gave me post-Sculpt instructions and explained all post-Sculpt instructions in depth. The process isn't painful at all, but the ice part is definitely a little uncomfortable at times because it's so cold. Brooke is so sweet and talked to me the whole time, so I didn't really notice the uncomfortable part. I'm already scheduled to do another BB Sculpt next month and can't wait! read more

Dani did my airbrush tan and could not have been sweeter or more professional. I LOVE My tan, she did an amazing job and was so efficient. I was sugared here for the first time today. I was able to get an appointment within the hour which was awesome. :-) As soon as I walked in I was greeted and offered a Bellini. YESSS. The little things like good customer service, a drink to calm the nerves & cute decor really make a difference to me. It felt like more of a spa vibe& gave off a really good impression. I've been waxed (not sugared) before & had a little PTSD. Sugaring does hurt and isn't what I expected but honestly it is NOT as bad as waxing. I'd give zero stars if I could let me start by saying go elsewhere I didn't think it was fair to post a review without having another business to compare as I was a first timer here and had only gotten one spray tan once in my life years ago and it was amazing but I really couldn't remember details so upon my visit I waited in the lobby nobody was there to greet me finally a girl came out she said you here for a spray tan I said yes she put me in a room said put these on your feet don't touch the wall I'll be back there was so much tanner everywhere but you can't really tell I slipped I had to touch the wall or I would have cracked my head open when she came in I showed her I had tanner all over my hands and feet from falling she just handed me a wipe the aftermath of the fall left me with horrible coloring so she sprayed me didn't ask me anything about my color didn't offer me a hair net then she said dry yourself and handed me a blow dryer and walked out when I came out I asked if they had packages she didn't know she asked another girl she said we do but don't do it online bcuz the website sucks we have so many problems I believed that to be true bcuz I couldn't book my appointment I had to call I tried 3 days in a row I was offered no information at all before or after I did tell the girl it was my first time I got an organic rapid tan I showered after 3 hours once my tan came in it was a disaster it was july4 and my bday I was completely embarrassed as to what my tan looked like I provided pics to the manager she said she'd refund me I went round and round with her about this she lied the first time and said I will refund you it will take 3-5 business days and I'll spray tan you myself I ever received the refund after 2 weeks I kept emailing her she did not believe me I then asked for the owners email the owner never replied finally after weeks of no refund I went in to meet with the manager to get sprayed when I walked in she said dryly you want something to drink she named a few beverages she said come on back I had to say are you the manager I've been speaking to she said yes she didn't even introduce herself or apologize she again said well I refunded you I went as far as to show her my bank statement electronically to prove it she's like well I can cut you a check bottom line the communication and experience I had with the operations manager was horrendous and now i clearly see why the employee I came in contact with is the way she is it's a check to them they don't care she said I'm going to have a talk with my whole I know she never talked to anyone bcuz the girl that sprayed me was there and she said I remember you how was it I'm like I didn't have a very pleasant experience she was oblivious another lie I have nothing but negative things to say about this place nobody here is professional or cares I had streaks drips color blotches missed spots it was like I was someone's Guinea pig I can suggest an amazing experience at Sunless Rae in BREA on yelp or organic beach spray tans you can find on instagram these are both professional women who love and care about their business and customers and your color is beautifully sprayed on read more

This is the only place I will ever go for a spray tan and I drive past a ton of other places to get here. They are so sweet and make me feel really comfortable standing there naked in front of them. I go here before vacations and for special events and things like that but not on a regular basis. I went here for my first time about a week ago. I had never been waxed or sugars so honestly i thought i could handle it but omg is it painful. Luckily i was with Katelyn whom made me feel very comfortable. I went in planning to get rid of all my hair down there... but i could only do the bikini line area basically haha. Katelyn recommended buying the numbing spray so i did. I have a lot of tattoos and I'm familiar with numbing spray so i knew it would work. Flash forward a few days later.. i came back. I scheduled another appointment with Katelyn and I'm so glad i did. I followed her instructions and put the numbing spray on about 15-20 mins before my appointment and then again when i arrived. This time i was able to go full bare and finish. It wasn't the easiest but the numbing spray helped a good amount. Honestly, Katelyn helped me a lot too. She's soooo sweet! I can't imagine going to anyone else now. She made me feel comfortable, encouraged me to keep going and not quit! But she was also respectful of my needs if i needed to take a break. I screamed a little but then i would laugh and she would laugh too which made me feel really comfortable. She was also talkative which helped keep my mind off of the pain. I already scheduled a follow up session for February and I'm so excited to go back! I feel so soft!! It's a lot different than shaving and i truly love it. I'm not one for body hair on myself so this was a great decision. I'm even considering getting my armpits done next because i hate razor burn and that is no longer an issue thanks to bronzed bunny!! The gal who sprayed me made me feel comfortable, and was very friendly. I've only gotten a spray tan at another place and the experience here was so different. She was more thorough, attentive, and gave a lot of instructions. However, my tan turned out to be very orange and made me feel pretty self conscious! I went to Bronzed Bunny today for the first time...and it was also my first time getting a spray tan. Finally growing up! I walked in and instantly wanted to stay forever because it's absolutely beautiful and charming inside. Really chic, modern decor. It's so inviting. Upon arrival, the front desk (Steph and Cheyenne are so friendly and match the interior space so well, sophisticated and professional) will check you in and ask if you want water or a Bellini...yes please! Once that very important part is taken care of, they walk you over to the spray room. The room itself is also super chic and sexy. A+ for decor. They have you change out of your clothes (you can wear underwear or go nude) and then come back in and get to spraying! The spray takes about 2-3 minutes...it's pretty quick and easy! Then you'll dry off in front of a fan for a few minutes and then voila! you're done! They'll then explain the rinsing process and how long the tan will take to develop depending on which type you got. Truly a very easy and enjoyable process and I cannot wait to come back for more tans and other treatments (they do tanning, sugaring, and other body treatments like scrubs, so fun)! read more
