It's been a while since I glowed with a nice tan. I use to go to this tanning salon in whittier on whittier & painter & it's nothing compared to Zaira's work! She was flexible with my schedule on a Saturday morning. I tried the quickie & I was glowing 3 hours later. The organic spray she used was not sticky as the other salons. I would totally depend on her again for that golden glow. Also, if you are iffy about being completely naked.. don't! She makes you feel comfortable & keeps a conversation going & by the time she is done you will forget you were standing naked. I preferred no tan lines. read more

I cannot tell you how amazing this business is. First off, let's start off with the tanning artist - Zaira. She is seriously one of the friendliest, kindest, skilled and professional tanning artists I've come across. I have done spray tanning before and it took forever, felt robotic, snd was just a "meh" experience. With Zaira, she is so sweet and personable and makes you feel comfortable the entire time. Her tanning spray set up is clean snd she's really communicative and quick! Now the tan - great quality and lasts so long! I've been here twice snd my spray tan lasted a week! It felt longer honestly. Just make sure you follow her instructions, get the recommended lotions, and you'll love your tan! Very reasonable pricing and a great job! Thanks Zaira!! read more

I've been a loyal customer for years and anytime anyone needs a tan I always send them to Zaira, she makes everyone I know feel comfortable and gives them the necessary knowledge to maintain and prep for a beautiful tan. Her location is conveniently located in Gypsy Queen so you can stop by and shop around after or before your event it's honestly such a great environment. read more

First time getting a tan and it was such an easy fast experience not what so expected at all. Booked me on the same day I contacted them got there at my appointment time and didn't wait more than 10 minutes. Z explained the process to me and did two layers of solution in me then explained the after care to me. All together I was there maybe 25 minutes at the most. Super friendly staff, really cute clothes. Very inexpensive tan! My tan looked like I was at the beach all week, perfect. It's been about a week now and it's still going strong! No fading, no streaking, no spots. I am so excited to go back! I will be a customer here forever, thank you Z. read more

I wanted to wait until after my trip to write a review. I've been here twice and each time my tans have been great and have both lasted more than 5 days and both times I've been in the water and I've experienced no fading. The tans fade naturally and if you're a frequent self tanner like me you know that patchy look I'm talking about. You get ZERO of that which is amazing. I would recommend especially if you need a quick developing tan, she offers a quickie which can be washed off after 3 hours. read more

Zaira is wonderful! She is so kind, friendly and professional. She gives you such an even tan, great before and after care instructions to make sure your tan is even and lasts, and tans you quickly. Zaira was very nice and professional. This review is not based on her customer service because if it was I would rate her excellent. My review is based on the quality of the service and results. I got a spray tan with her for my vacation. Decided to do the "quickie" since I booked the appointment the day I was leaving. I was surprised how quick it was done - in total it was 15 minutes. Now I've gotten spray tans before and this was by far the quickest. Unlike my other spray tans she did no prep before the spray tan that is applying lotion to the palms of your hands; creases in your wrists, elbows, feet; the back of your heels; and any other serious dry areas. It was my first time getting a spray tan what she calls the "quickie" that's suppose to develop in 3 hours versus 6 like others so I gave her her the benefit of the doubt. When she finished the tan it was dark like I like it. I told her I like to be very dark. She did not ask me for a picture or shade range I wanted to reach this should have been my first red flag. My second should have been that she did no prep before starting. But you live and you learn. Like I mentioned after the tan I was tanned and she said I would get darker the longer I let it develop. Well I showered 7 hours after vacation the 3 recommend and immediately noticed it lighter, again I gave her the benefit of the doubt. After my second shower it was significantly light. Now keep in mind I've gotten spray tans before and know how to shower after a tan and maintain it. I completely felt like it was a waste of money. My tan has been darker when I've done it myself with self tanner. I will not be returning to Zaira nor would I recommend her. I recommend going to someone with a legit location that focuses only on tanning. read more

Zaira the owner and tanning specialist was so awesome! I have never gotten a tan before and she was sooo thorough in explaining everything to me! She provided such great service through the whole process and was able to provide an explanation for the entire time frame of what comes next! Not only was she an expert but she did it all with such a great attitude and really made me feel so comfortable. I'll definitely be telling fam and friends about this place for all their tanning needs & I'll be back for future vacations! read more

First time ever getting a spray tan and had The best experience. After being in the house for a year i was in desperate need of a tan before my upcoming trip. Based on the reviews I quickly messaged Zaira (via Yelp) and within the hour i had an appointment booked two days later. She provides, in detail, the steps you should take leading up to the appointment along with specific product, which i appreciate so much! Being my very first time Ever receiving a spray tan. I have to say my appointment went above and beyond my expectations. Being a plus size woman I was extremely nervous/scared but she is extremely professional and knowledgeable that in less than 10 minutes it was over and now i am so very happy i did it! Zaira you have a new regular! If you are on the fence due to the tanning horror stories you read OR because you are self conscious of your body. I say, DO IT, you won't regret it and go nude! :) read more
