If there was an option to give no stars or negative stars... This place would never get even one star from me. They are a bunch of crooks and schemers. I had been leasing from Honda of New Rochelle for nine years and never had a problem with returning cars and leasing a new one. So I thought I'd try Bronx Honda since they are much closer to my home. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE that was! The day I went I was assisted by Ritchie. I told him numerous times I owed about four months left on the vehicle I was returning. Honda of New Rochelle always took over the remaining payments and I didn't have to worry about anything while leasing a new vehicle. About two weeks after I left with my new vehicle, I receive a letter in the mail saying I owe American Honda $1200. I went back to Bronx Honda to let them know what was going on and Ritchie had the nerve to tell me I never made him aware of the remaining months on my previous lease. I was then referred to one of the managers which was no help at all and was told I would receive a call from another manager which never happened. I wish I remembered their names because they would definitely be on here as well. I never received a call back from anyone at Bronx Honda and every time I called back I was given the run-around. For sake of saving my sanity and credit... I paid the $1200 for a car I no longer was in possession of as well as the fees I had already paid for the new vehicle I had leased. If you liked to get played for a fool and cheated by snakes in suits... Definitely visit Bronx Honda for a vehicle. But if you really want a Honda and a great deal and actually enjoy great customer service... I suggest taking an extra 20 minute drive to Honda of New Rochelle. I purchased a Honda HR-V from your dealership December 26, 2016. During signing, my signed contract was ripped and replaced with a new one. The finance person told me that they forgot to include my license plates which I had with me at the dealership. Unfortunately, I believed him and signed the new contract. The next day, I found out that he adjusted my monthly fee and added an extra $683 to the sales price of the car. The monthly fee didn't change much so I didn't realize the change at the time but with taxes that created a $720 difference from the agreed price. I spoke with him about what I was looking for and after speaking with his manager Alex, he quoted me a monthly rate paying DMV fees and first payment down. He told me to go think it over and contact him when I made a decision. I contacted him within a few days and arranged to come in and sign by the end of the month when that promotion was ending. Ready to sign paperwork, Joel came back to his desk and informed me they couldn't move forward with the deal- no explanation why just that I'd need to put 2500 down. Although the original paperwork was sitting right on Joel's desk with our original deal he said turns out it doesn't apply. Why lie the first time I came in and waste my time? I left without a vehicle and was extremely frustrated and annoyed that Joel and Alex lied and wasted my time. If you're in the mood for games or being taken advantage of, I'd go meet them. read more

My dad took his Honda CRV for regular maintenance and they cracked his windshield and refused to investigate the situation. They told him that he broke it and was dismissive. He asked the manager to check their cameras and reports and they simply refused to do so. In addition, after contacting Honda customer service directly we were told that the windshield isn't covered by warranty. What is mind-blowing is that this is not a warranty related issue. Their service department cracked his windshield and is refusing to fix it. I truly don't understand how businesses like this still operate. This Honda CRV was purchased at this dealer and we have recommended many to shop here, which we will never do again. Take your money elsewhere! If you are in the Bronx, consider buying yourself a Subaru at Milea Subaru a few blocks away. We alway receive great service there shopping and for regular maintenance. read more

I almost didn't go to Bronx Honda due to the large amount of bad reviews but I'm glad I did. I found a 2018 CPO Accord Touring on their website and I set up an appointment to test drive it. Worried that I'd be given the good ol' bait and switch a lot of dealers do when they tell you the car is there to see but it's really not, I called the dealership right when I left work on 10/9 I went to test drive the car. Betsy told me the car was there so I said "Great, I'll be right over." So at about 6:30 PM, I met with Juan Carlos and he was very helpful and kind. We took the test drive, I liked the car and made the choice to purchase it. We haggled a little on the value of my trade in but that's normal. We hit a snag when, at 9 PM, I met with the finance manager, Antonio, and he discovered they did not have the title for the Accord. The dealership manager, Jersey, came over and apologized and explained we would have to switch my insurance back to my trade in until they found the title. Jersey said he would make sure that they would call about the title first thing the following morning and he would throw in free floor mats for my trouble. They had the title the next day so I went back down, Antonio processed the financing, Juan Carlos changed the insurance back and switched the plates again and I was on the road in less than a half hour. The car mats weren't in that day so I came back down last week and Juan Carlos had them ready at his desk and put them in my car right away. I've been given the runaround by different dealerships over the years but this dealership did everything as they should- no gimmicks, no hold ups, no outright lies. I was actually waiting for one of those things to happen or for something to go wrong, lol, but I was pleasantly surprised that everything went as it should, (minus the missing title), and I was treated right. Stay away from Bronx Honda at all cost!!!!! Was just at Bronx Honda 5/15/19 to get a quote on a Lease Buyout. I signed paperwork stating they could run my credit prior to getting quoted, as expected they tried to Juice me out of $1,399 in made up fees and gave me a made up APR since the credit had not been run yet. I asked the salesman how did he come up with this APR if they had yet to run my credit his was response was "it's a standard apr but I could wait for the finance manager to come in at 11am and maybe he could get me a better apr". At 10:30am I said to the salesman I did not want to proceed with the deal and he should shred my paperwork. My credit had not been run yet since the "Finance Manager" had not arrived. I ended up going to Honda of New Rochelle and was informed by them that my credit was indeed run by Bronx Honda. I return to the Salesman and asked why he ran my credit after I told him I would not like to proceed with them and his answer was "No I didn't" and pulls out my paperwork from his desk (the same paperwork I told him to shred at 10:30am!!) I explained that New Rochelle confirmed they did run it to which he replied "It must have been my manager" could this be the same manager that was not in until 11am?..No! An older man comes out of an office and said he ran my credit while I was still at the dealer even after I said I would not like to proceed with the process. I'm going to dispute the inquiry but I'm completely disgusted with how nonchalant this dealership is. Tips: Everyone should get pre approval letter before coming to buy your car and call them first to see if they accept the pre-approval loan. So you can avoid paying high interests. I really hate buying car: car salesman will work with you to get a deal but then you have to go through the devil "the finance guy" where you sit and let him tell you what your interest are. Once i bought the car all that was offered turned out to be bullshit and an uphill battle with the service center which seems to be there to scam more money from it's already paying customers. The front right tire has been going flat since i purchased the car and now a year later it is no long patchable. All they can say about the tire is that i bought a used car not a new car. You would think the goal of a car dealership would be to actually sell a car... My experience at Bronx Honda actually started out pretty good. This would be my very first brand new car & with that, I had some specifics in mind. One feature I was looking for was a manual transmission. This dealership, as opposed to the first Honda dealership I went to, actually did have one manual available to test drive. They just didn't have the color I was looking for. Since I've driven a manual for many years, I decided to test drive an automatic as well but I was leaning towards the manual. With that, my salesman, Raul, told me that they did not have the exact car that I wanted but as soon as I "signed the contract", they would go ahead & locate the car, go get it & bring it to their lot for me! I left the dealership that Sunday afternoon to mull it over & by late day Monday, when Raul called, I told him I would head back to do the paperwork the next eve after work. During our conversation I made it very clear that I wanted X, Y, Z! My mind was made up & I was not flexible. If I was going to spend a chunk of change, I wanted what I wanted, my mind was set & that was that! So I arrived at the dealership the next eve & sat waiting a little while for Raul. After about 15, 20 minutes he finally came over to the desk. He gave me something to fill out & he started filling out the paperwork for the loan. When we finished he said he would go have them run my credit. Approximately 10 minutes later he returned not looking so good. Tells me there's a problem & that they CANNOT locate the specific car that I want & that he's going to have to "shred" the contract... UMMMMM WTF??!!! He then said that the general manager did find one car but it was out in Jersey so not close enough for them to bother with. He basically told me that since the dealership isn't making a lot of money off of the deal ... they were not going to go out of their way for me ... (ya know, the CUSTOMER)!! I just looked at my boyfriend in disbelief & said "I feel like I'm gonna cry right now"... I actually wasn't as sad as I was mad & in disbelief I think. Anyhow, next Raul told me I could speak the the GM & voice my disappointment & yada yada yada. I had no interest at this point. Just wanted to haul ass outta there but I didn't really know what I was going to do now that my heart was set on this one particular vehicle! So I sucked it up & entered the GM's office. There were several people in there so now ... awkward!!... I just basically whispered that I was really let down that they were not willing to help me get the car! He then told me the location of the only ONE car that was available & gave me the phone # to that particular dealership. So basically, I was on my own here! As we exited the office Raul held up my contract & said, "So, I'm gonna shred this now" & proceeded to RIP RIP RIP before my eyes! This was some experience I tell ya! Traumatizing is a good way to describe it!! I made sure to have Raul hand me the ripped up papers since my SS# and other personal info was written all over the docs... Raul almost looked a little weepy as he handed over my ripped up contract... but it's hard tell if that was for disappointing me, or for him losing the sale! ?? Most people I told this story to said it's a typical "bait & switch" tactic. I don't know what it was but it was just terrible. It felt like going to the spa for a one hour massage & having the masseuse walk out half way thru... Oh, I decided on two stars only because I felt (or at least want to believe) my salesman wanted to help me get what I wanted & also for the dealership at least providing me a phone # of a rival dealership. Maybe they didn't think I would be crazy enough to drive the near 100 miles to get the car I wanted but they were sorely mistaken! One final note: Quite a few friends had dealerships that have had cars located & shipped to the dealership they were dealing with nearby. The Jersey dealership itself told me they didn't understand why Bronx Honda would not have just gotten the car from them & had it shipped to the Bronx as they get cars from many other states that are even a further distance for their customers. I'm starting to think these dealership just want to play games & end up on the winning end. Bronx Honda did not win with this "Bronx" girl! Went in to purchase a used car, they failed to include on the website listing that there were multiple dings, dents and other cosmetic issues with the car as well as only coming with one set of keys. They informed me that they would take a bit off of the initial price to compensate for the dings and that they would mail me a second key along with the license plate. I had to call about 20 times to get them to send me the license plate (which I received about a month after they initially told me it would arrive). However, there was no key included. I have tried calling them and every time I am either hung up on or sent to voicemail once I explain my situation. I definitely do not recommend this dealership as they will not take care of you once you finalize the purchase. Even the manager has hung up on me when I was nothing but polite. read more

Worst dealership I brought a 2015 Honda accord from them couple of months ago. They advertised the car for less than average price, hence thats what attracted me towards them. I called them to check if the price is accurate but when I went there, they said that price doesn't include the CPO cost, dealership cost, and other non sense cost. when I asked about the advertised price, they said that marketing team doesn't know all about this. I should have walked out but since I went all the way to NewYork, I started bargaining and we came to deal and certain price, but when i went to manager room to sign the deal the price has gone extra $600 dollars. I had to fight with the manager to bring the price down but still I paid few hundreds of dollar over than I price what we agreed. I have a excellent credit score(more than 820) still I got APR of 6%. (I had to refinance my car from other credit union where I got for 2.25%). After all these, they agreed to do my Tags and Title. Since I lived in Maryland, I had to do my own tags and state inspection. which costs me additional money and time. Stay away from this dealership. read more

Beware: Your relationship with this place will go down hill once you sign the papers. And the attitude towards customers who already purchased a vehicle is disgusting. We came to buy a certified used car. while showing us around, Jason (sales guy) told us MULTIPLE times that a certified car comes with 6 oil change services. So, we chose our car and when they were doing the numbers, they automatically added a $1299 certification fee. Even though the car was already certified. When we asked why we have to pay again for a car that's already certified, they removed the fee. Not only that, when we talked to the finance guy, FRANKIE, he would only tell us the monthly car payments. He added warranties(that I didn't ask for or want).When we asked him to break down the numbers, he asked me to "do it myself". So I did. And realized he added $1500 to the price of the car excluding all fees and $4000 for the warranty. When I asked him about this, he said it's closing time, he will explain to me over the phone. So I left with the car. When I called the next day, he said he will talk to the sales guy(JASON) and take care of it. And there you have it, that $1500 and $4000 was removed too. He told me he cannot send or explain to me the paper work on the phone, I have to go in person. Today I went in person, to get my paperwork and oil change. When we asked about the oil change, JASON went to Frankie,who wouldn't give the oil change vouchers because they "come only with new cars" as per him. Even though we were told MULTIPLE times by Jason that it comes with our car too. Frankie then passed our paper work to Jason and thought that's all he had to do. He had a client in his office so we were told if we wanted an explanation, we had to come back. We went to the service center because we had to change the headlight (couldn't get anything done there either because they were too full) and came back. Frankie was chatting away with his coworker, when we said "excuse me" and asked a question, we were rudely told by both of them we had to wait again and that he's talking to a customer. AGAIN, it was a coworker. Anyway, when we went in, he said everything's in the papers. "What you need explained? It's all there. What's your question? You know how to read." We asked a question, he answered and if we asked anything else he stopped us to say "you asked a question, I answered". MULTIPLE TIMES. he was so bothered that they couldn't add those extra charges to our purchase that he didn't want to explain anything. The person that attended me asked the right questions and profiled me to get the best car not only for me but my kids wins hands down. I wasn't pushed to buy, nor they were eager as in too hyper for me to get one ( that alone can be a turn off). I went in there with the intentions of getting something small and sporty but I walked out with a car that my kids will enjoy, I will consider getting that second car just for me. Learned that Bronx Honda had the only yellow Honda Fit within a 200 mile radius so we called them up immediately and told them we wanted to come look at it the next day. Since we were making a 90 minute trek to the Bronx on the 6 train, Debbie (one of the employees) called and texted me the next morning to confirm the car was still there. Once we arrived Leon, sales associate, showed us the car, answered all of our questions and let us try everything on the car, including pretending to sleep in the back and shutting all the doors to blast the music to see how it sounds (important!). Then Leon offered us pizza and a pastry so we were pretty much sold. We got a price promise on Edmund's website that let us get the car for almost $1K under the sticker price. The process of paperwork, insurance, paying for it was easy. The cleaned the car up to make it sparkle and we drove off into the sunset (and traffic). Overall, great experience. read more

Seems like this dealership is not motivated to sell any vehicles. Sales person not motivated, rude and lack of salesmanship skill. It's a reflection of the Managment as well as the manager had the same attitude of not really eager on trying to earn your business. First and last time I will stop foot in that place. After speaking multiple times during the week to set up a my visit, to then be told the vehicle I was looking for was not available due to a manufacturer recall, which of course did not sit well with me as I had to re-arrange my entire week to come in. later the sales person starts to downgrading my trade in vehicle while I'm trying to give him all the facts (to a point I just did not want to deal with the guy anymore). I tell him it looks like you don't want to make a deal specially with a customer looking to purchase two vehicles to which he replies he doesn't care if I'm buying one vehicle or 10 vehicles, never heard a sales person say something like this. I then requested o speak to his manager instead, his manager then informs me he has plenty of the other vehicle I was looking for. At this point both are lying and any motivation to purchase any vehicles was out the window. I thought to myself, if this is just trying to locate a vehicle,and they lied about its availability, I can only imagine what they would have pulled on the paper work and pricing. when it came to making a deal. On June 12th I went to Bronx Honda in order to purchase a Honda Civic. I told Julissa, the sales person, that I had approved financing with another bank. Even though she tried to persuade me to finance through the dealership I declined ams ao we started the paperwork. I financing with an online bank and their representative, told me to have the dealership call her so she could guide them through the payment process. Essentially, my bank would make a deposit of the car's total amount to the dealerahip's bank account. The financial representative of Bronx Honda got difficult and did not cooperate with my bank's representative asking for a check to be sent instead. She sent the check via Fedex which arrived at the dealership the next day and was supposedly deposited on June 18th. I was told by Julissa that I had to wait a couple of days until the check cleared in order to take my car. Julissa called me on June 21st telling me to come and pick up the car that day, but I couldn't go since I was working. The next day, June 22nd, I went to pick up the car, however, Julissa said that it was not possible because the check still had not cleared (meaning the money was not available on their bank account). She told me I had two options: 1) Sign a contract stating that if the check from my bank did not have any funds, I would automatically finance with Honda Financial and proceed to make monthly payments to them. 2) I could wait a couple more days until the funds appeared in their bank account; I decided to wait. Basically, they are implying the check does not have any funds. Worried, I called my bank today June 24th and they assured me the check indeed has funds. The problem here is that I am paying car insurance for a vehicle that I do not posess. The insurance comany will cancel my policy because I have not sent the bill of sale nor the window sticker. And I cannot send that information since the dealer does not want to give me the car. I am even set to do the first car payment to my bank on July 11th. I will pay for a car I have not even used because the dealer wont give it to me. I cannot help but think that they are preasuring me to finance with them so that I can take the vehicle home. read more

Shawn Mirchandani sales manager and Nanci Edmondson sales associate for Bronx Honda both participated in ripping me off while purchasing a brand new 2018 Honda Accord . I reported it to Laurell Fittanto who is the customer service manager and the owners daughter. She said she would check into it and get back to me. Laurell Fittanto was contacted by the Honda Corporation and the Better Business Bureau on my behalf but she NEVER returned my call. She refused to speak with me after patronizing her families business . The money that was stolen from me stayed in her families bank account. The Better Business Bureau reports that Bronx Honda has 17 complaints against them that they refuse to answer. They are NOT accredited and their grade is an F . I had to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau , Honda Corporation and the Attorney General's Office. It appears a good amount of complaints are coming from minorities . My question to Bronx Honda is would I have gotten ripped off if I were a white customer ? If none of this works just remember the great equalizer Karma is alive and well . If you shop at Bronx Honda for a new or used car you are taking a major risk of being ripped off . This plea below from the manager is BS . My complaint letter to Bronx Honda: I am writing to file a complaint that I have NEVER received such poor customer service than I did this morning via the phone by your dealership. I purchased a 2011 NEW CRV from Wilson Rivera at the end of May. A week ago my driver's side window fell out, and smashed into the door while I was driving. I do not live near the bronx, and took my Honda to the service department in New Rochelle. They told me this situation was unusual, and if they worked on the car and found out the problem was not under warranty, or the car was not new or tampered with, I would have to pay a $114.00 fee. They suggested, to avoid this, I call Bronx Honda. My dealer was unavailable, so someone else took the call. He did not help me, only bad mouth New Rochelle, and then transfered me over to someone else. The same thing happened with this gentleman. He talked about me, offered no solutions, and told me the same, that New Rochelle needed to work on it. I explained I did not want to be out the $114.00 service fee, if they found the vehicle was not new, or was tampered with. At this time, I could not come down to the Bronx to wait on line for servicing. I explained I could not be without a car during the week. I was told to bring the car in on Saturday to be looked out. (However, this is not true. Bronx Honda service says they DO NOT do repairs on the weekend, only Monday-Thursday). I asked the man if there was anything that could be done in this particular situation being that this is a brand new vehicle, purchased from them, and I now, am stuck with a faulty vehicle. He made it clear he did not want to deal with me, and said he should file a complaint against New Rochelle. This does not help me, THE CUSTOMER, YOUR CUSTOMER. I put my boyfriend on the phone to try to rectify the situation. This man hung up on him. I have never been so appalled in my life. I will tell everyone I know NEVER to visit this dealership, and that you are conniving, piece of shit, typical salesman. I will also be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau, and posting reviews online. You do not care about the customer, only care about making a quick deal, and your money. This place does not deserve any star, we had the worst buying experience here. We found a pre owned crv and drove all the way to the bronx thinking it was a good deal. They tacked on $ 389 doc fee we disputed as NY has a $75 cap and had us pay $500 deposit to hold the car. Long story short, we finalized the deal along with the purchase agreement. Day before pick up, we got a call that there was something wrong with the car and we will get a call from the manager. It's been two weeks and we can't seem to get a hold of anyone despite us constantly trying to call them. They seem to be shady and untrustworthy. Now we have to deal with repercussions with our credit union. It has been a nightmare. After numerous phone calls, Finally got through and were made to wait 20 mins on the phone for the manager to say the car is a lemon ( the former owner's fault so they say) IF THIS CAR was inspected and CERTIFIED, how can this happen? My husband and I wanted to trade in our fully loaded 2013 Murano for a Honda Pilot touring. The atmosphere coming into the establishment was "What do you want" instead of "How may I help you". I took into account that it was a Sunday but business is business period. After we were told "there is nothing I can do for you". We proceeded to Honda of Yonkers. Let me just say.
