Perched on the edge of dual children's paradises of Bronte Beach and Bronte Park, Bronte Kiosk somehow manages an old-school Eastern Suburbs charm that is a nostalgic antithesis to the increasingly slicker eating spots on Bronte Road.
Painted up with garish but joyous frangipanis and cartoon surfers, and with proceeds going to the Bronte Surf Life-Saving Club, Bronte Kiosk is to trendy Bronte Rd what the kids' train in Bronte Park is to the Gravitron... maybe not as exciting but honest and delightful.
Having waxed lyrical on the lary charm of the visage though, I should probably point out that they have a perfectly normally array of cold drinks, coffee, ice-creams, sunscreen etc on offer here and at a reasonable price given the rent they must pay... read more
