We met with the general manager Gustavo, who was very friendly and accommodating in helping us find the membership that made the most sense. I didn't end up getting my own membership since I'll be moving out again in a few months and Curl doesn't have many locations, but I've been able to come as my brother's guest. We even got my mom to sign up which says a lot given she's pretty high maintenance about cleanliness and wasn't going to the gym at all before this. Now she goes almost every day and loves the zumba classes. In my opinion, this is the best all-around gym for the price. It's cleaner than 24 hour and LA fitness, it's never so crowded that I'm waiting forever for equipment, and unlike planet fitness, it has a great selection of free weights. They also have newer equipment including a hip thrust machine and pendulum squat. I used to go to 24 hour whenever I came home on school breaks, and I've never been able to grab a spot at the squat racks with bumper plates. At Curl, I've never had that problem, even though I come almost every day. On top of that, Gustavo and the rest of the staff have always been welcoming and helpful. Overall, it's been a really positive experience and I'd definitely recommend Curl to anyone looking for a solid gym!

He took the time to show me around the entire gym, answered every question I had professionally, and even gave me a complimentary guest pass even though I'm not from the area. The gym itself is clean, well-equipped, and has an awesome atmosphere. The only reason I didn't sign up for a membership is because there isn't a location that's convenient for where I live. If there were, I'd join without hesitation. Gustavo's professionalism and hospitality made an already great gym experience even better. Even the massage chairs sometimes carry the fresh scent of cleaning solution. As for the staff, they are incredible--always greeting you warmly. You can tell the employees have a great relationship and truly treat the place like home; some have even worked there for years. ​There's absolutely nothing to complain about. Even the members there are high-quality and make sure to wipe down their machines after use. The owner, Elsa, is incredibly accommodating and clearly takes pride in her business. It's obvious she invests both time and money into making this gym stand out. Machines and equipment look cool but then the dirtiness and lack of buttoning up items against the walls and electrical conduit make it seem dirty and unfinished. It's like a person who paints a room with a roller but doesn't edge. And then there are the trainers. Don't try to give somebody friendly advice because you've been lifting for 30yrs because they'll get mad at you for talking to other people that you didn't come with. They want those people to pay them for advice and some of them don't deserve it when you overhear them talking to their clients. I won't talk about the bathrooms. They've already been talked about.
