Although this project was revisited twice due to an initial "mis-diagnosis" (with the previous Soil-away regime), Jack took ownership to rectify the basic floor foundation issue and ensure no more tiles would crack.! Jack's demolition team,under Brad, communicated clearly when they would arrive, describe their daily work, and respected our property. The work area was left so that we could resume a normal daily lifstyle. Jack was there onsite thruout the demolition cycle of the project as was the project manager, Tom. As Brad and team completed the demolition cycle, Jeff, who would be completing the base flooring, tiling and grouting was the consummate professional. He approached the project as if he were working in his on house.His attention to detail and skill to merge the new tile into the existing fabric of our existing flooring was impeccable. We hired NEDS to fix water damage after a fridge leak. They did the work in half the time they said they would, and they did half the job. They actually created a mold problem in my house and I had to pay another company to come in and do the job right. The impact their negligence has had on our lives is substantial. Mold has to be physically removed, not just sprayed with bleach/MMR nor fogged. FYI I tried contacting the owner to right the situation instead of writing this review, but he didn't want to accept responsibility/do the right thing. Water leaked through the floor all the way down to my main floor. I went up to the attic to inspect where the water was coming from. Turns out one of the pcp pipes came apart from my central air system In the attic. There was no issue with the piping during inspection just a few days before. I even went up and inspected the attic myself. And no way it just came apart on its own being professionally installed. My guess is that somebody stepped on it or kicked it on accident and didn't notice it was apart. Either way, the company left damage within the home which will cost us to repair. Alongside the fact that my son has asthma and a mold allergy. That being said another mold remediation company will need to come out to ensure the leak hasn't caused any mold growth. Ive been calling the company for two weeks every day been giving me the run around saying the owner greg isn't in the office today and to call back on a different day. They took down my number and email multiple times and stated that he would reach out. Now that they've run out of excuses, the office manager states to "respectfully stop calling the office. This is between you and Greg. Greg sent you an email". With no email in sight and ZERO communication from the company owner, it's become very evident we're being blown off. They claim in their website to be fully insured but apparently don't care enough to use it to fix their wrong. With all of that being said, do hire them if you want to hire another remediation company along with having holes in your ceilings repaired.

I had an issue with my basement where Peniel was called into remediate the damage that was done…read more Peniel told me "they wouldn't warranty their work" if the whole grout wasn't removed under the tile in the basement since "it gets under the tile in sits in the grout". Fast forward a few days of difficult labor and issues - my floor has 70% grout left on it or so - I guess the previously done floor was over grouted - and it was tough to get up. Another day of work goes by and I ask them how things are going - one of the employee's says to me "don't worry about the rest of the grout - when they do the floors over they will use a self leveler and it will fix the issue. Me going through a ton of stuff and not being a professional in the field said "okay, you know best.:"... Come to find out my contractor said that he can use that but so much of the floor was unloved he would have spent a TON of money on cement since its in high demand - I am now paying a contractor for a job that should have been done properly and not cut corners on... Now I'm trying to get in touch with peniel and they are ghosting me. No replies to my emails with pictures and descriptions of my issue. I shouldn't have been mislead - I shouldn't be paying for something to get done twice.. Peniel is terrible and I can't believe this is the type of service someone provides when they are given almost $15,000 to remediate about 700 (give or take) Sq foot of basement. I am let down that a company that is in charge of such health and safety related items can work so poorly - I had to follow up on things that I shouldn't need to follow up on. I am going to be all over this until I get a check back for the two days of work my contractor has done - because expecting me to pay someone to do the job I paid to do is unacceptable. Dodge my emails and ill find new routes to go about this.. Ill see that this gets to the BBB as well as google, Facebook, instagram and all other relevant places. If I can save anyone else by getting screwed over by such lazy practice than this is worth it. attached are pictures of what the bathroom looks like since im having a hard time finding the prior family room pics.
